    Got to be the clearest description how to do this then most vids have shown thus far.. Some of those who have shown other ways to do it does not work on this phone which could be a firmware problem?
    I've been testing the idea shown here with an Alesis MultiMix 8 USB FX.. Connected to a Samsung Galaxy A12 using as shown a USB cable coming from mixer connected to a USB Type C to USB A Female OTG.
    This guy a star!!!!!!!!! Many Thanks works perfecto!

      Just one problem with this connection method no matter where the volume is set on the mixer what comes out the USB is good but quiet.. Have messed with the settings on the phone makes no difference.
      Yes the quality is good just the volume a little too low but will sort.

    Hi, wonder if you could advise. I've tried getting AF from a wireless mic receiver into my phone with mixed outcomes.
    One way was out the AF with an adapted(1/4inch) aux cable into a trs to trrs adapter and then phone. I can hear audio coming thru but not very loud.
    I've also tried swapping the trs to trrs adapter with a mic and headphone Y splitter with a trrs on the other end. Aux cable connected to the mic line. Nothing comes thru.
    What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance

    How much better is using an audio interface from mixer to android, than just running direct from mixer straight into an android phone?
    I'm running direct into phone now with 1/8'' trs jack, the recording is not great,
    but not horrid like when I record 'open air' with no connections.
    Would it be much better to go;
    Mixer TO audio interface (UCA 202 BERHINGER OR brands),TO phone via USB C adapter?

    @pushingFaders Hi Sir, Thank you for a wonderful tutorial. This setup has worked for me and was able to use condenser mic + mackie mixer to sing using smule app. As for the headphones I have to plug in my headset to the 3.5 mm jack of my android phone (note 8), I was even able to get a usb-c splitter and use both ports to connect my mixer and the other to charge my phone while in use.
    I recently upgraded to note 20 and it doesnt have a 3.5mm headset jack...my problem is i have to use a usb-c to 3.5mm adaptor in order to use my headset, but I have only 1 USB -c port in the note 20. I use this port to connect the mackie mixer, comes my usb-c splitter, (1 port for the mackie, 1 port for the headset)..but this time the mackie worked...but I cant hear thru the headset. do you have any suggestions as to an alternative set up for phones that doesnt have 3.5mm jack? or am I doing something totally wrong. Thank you and more power.

    • @PushingFaders
      @PushingFaders  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      you need an audio interface to send the signal of your analog mixer into your PC/MAC digitally
      There is an analog hack done by others but unless you know what you're doing, its a hit or miss thing so I can't advise it.

      @@PushingFaders It's still pertaining to how to send mixer audio sound to an android mobile... At the moment I am still using the v8 soundcard to send audio while I stream, so I guess I need to make a purchase for a mixer that can send audio signals via usb? Is there a follow up on what mixers you can recommend for people on a budget? I am going by shoppee or lazada, and there are some at 2k up that might be able to do the job.

    • @PushingFaders
      @PushingFaders  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@eiderglast it really depends on what USB component and driver any particular manufacturer has put into the mixer they built. Katulad ng V2 mackie mixers dont work with phones and tablets but work with PC/MAC.... the new .v3 ProFX mixers now work with both devices and PCs. so depende talaga. I have done searches and seldom does a manufacturer indicate kung class compliant ang products nila, so you really just have to find out for yourself if your interface is Class Compliant and if your tablet/phone is Class Compliant. only then will both ends talk to each other.

    @PushingFaders  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Class Compliant - In common usage, this means that a USB peripheral device is “plug and play,” meaning you can plug it in and it will work a Mac or Windows computer without installing proprietary drivers.
    Mac and Windows come with generic USB drivers; there are several types, known as
    “classes,” such as USB Video Device Class, USB MIDI Device Class, USB Mass Storage Class, etc. Peripherals that can work with those class drivers are referred to as “class compliant.” Because those “class” drivers are generic, they may not support product-specific or proprietary features - to access those non-“class” features usually requires a proprietary driver from the device’s manufacturer.

      first off, ts going to be a tough thing to manage.. are we talking about group chats on what's app and IMO?? or just 3 of you? you can get 2 telephone hybrids like the JK Audio connect that to a mixer, you'd be on a mic.. Everyone should be on headphones to avoid feedback.. do some clever routing with feeding the signal of each phone to the other so that they can hear each other. again, its going to be a touch thing to manage, if more mics are open, the noise build up will probably be a hassle. I'm just approaching this from a pro-audio angle. there might be some other way. or, you can just have everyone on 1 platform. hope this helps

      This in particular is a Mackie ProFX10.v3 but there are other channel counts available. You can check with the TMS webstore themusicsourceph.com/?product_cat=mackie-profx-v3&s=&post_type=product

      This is the Mackie ProFX10.v3... a smaller model would be the ProFX6.v3

      for this setup with a USB Mixer, we were showing different options. Puedeng Mixer straight to Phone but if you want to be charging/ powering the phone (ex. for long operations), then you can use a hub to inject power.

      @@rockwellalforque6616 , hmmm, i cant really give much insight on it since i have not been able to use a Yamaha MG10x yet. Have you tried asking the local Yamaha seller?

      Unfortunately The Yamaha MG10XU and The Other MG Series Of USB All Have Weak USB Out since it's not Control By The Main Volume, Meaning All The Levels Are not controlled By The Main Master Out. So Far From My Live Stream Testing The Beringer Xenyx USB Mixers Use The Main Out With The USB so the Audio Output is Greater (Louder) then the Yamaha!
