I don't mean to be condescending, I just don't understand how people think that if eren and paradis went down a different path (either all out genocide or peace), they could've somehow ended the cycle of hatred and violence when it's made very clear (in fact, explicitly stated by pixis) in the story thay as long as there are humans around they will be fighting.
If there was a being that was not supposed to be within this world that gave god like powers to humans would you consider that apart of duality or rather something that should not exist? It's actually mind-boggling that everything we know about Eren and the others is from Armin's perspective, not Eren's. So, it's Armin who thought that there was loads of chemistry between Eren and Mikasa when we don't even know Eren loved Mikasa or not. It's a story made by Armin. We don't even know if the Titans or Eren were actually real.
We don't really know what erwin would've acted like had he survived. His entire motivation for everything prior had been to see if his and his father's theory about humanity outside of the walls was correct
