This is a new found gem... I have some condition that with my knee trauma makes me really prone to more trauma in that area, even in everyday activities. To this day I couldn't find proper trainer to help me, left all to myself to regain lost comfort and control in motion.
A lot of exercise from this chanel really help in terms of building my mobility control, after a long time of recovery it feels like owning my body again.

Thank you Michael. Been binge watching your knee and hip videos. A week ago, when sitting cross legged as I often naturally do, my knee locked and it was super painful until a few seconds later when I was able to get it out of this locked position with an audible clunk. It took a couple of days to feel normal again, and then it locked again, and I released it with a big clunk. What causes this? Too much sugar? I regularly sit cross-legged for meditation twice a day I (been doing that for 43 years), and never had a problem, until recently. How can I strengthen ligaments or muscles in the knee and prevent this in the future? Thank you in advance!!!

Dear Dr Rowe, I love your videos, and many times, they helped me with different kind of pain. I strongly suggest you to write a blog. What do you think about it? Because there many things I am sure, that people want to know beyond the exercises. For example, I started the recovery of my flat feet and I was recommended to wear barefoot shoes. I am in the training and it is not bad. But do you recommend them too? Thanks and all the best

I'm almost 76. I've had about a dozen cortisone shots in my left knee I injured in my 40s. I'm bone on bone. I just completed a full set of these exercises. Will this motion with some stress create a grinding effect of bone on bone surfaces from the tibia/fibula surface with the femur surface causing a sandpaper grinding effect and further wearing the surfaces of the bone? I normally get several syringes of fluid drained and an injection about every four months. I just had my last treatment yesterday. I loved the exercises due to the stress on the muscles & I know the stronger muscles are good for the knee. My ortho doc feels it's time for a knee replacement but I've been putting it off. I've seen both success and negative stories.

Adds a new dimension to the term "Bend The Knee"😁😅🤣😂
BTW, can you please do a video on the importance of proper breathing?
I notice many people do stress breathing, i.e., breathing only from the chest, the way most of us have been conditioned to do by society🤦🏾‍♂
This is limiting and defeating when it comes to exercise. We're supposed to breathe from our stomachs, like we all (most of us) did when we were babies, i.e. Diaphragmic Breathing.
Chest breathing is only allowing for 1/2 of oxygen capacity, ergo, 1/2 of our Power as breath (oxygen) literally = Power.
Interesting fact: The word "Spirit" is rooted in the Latin "Spritis," "a breathing (respiration, and of the wind), breath; breath of a god."💪🏾
*Update: Diaphragmic Breathing is the preferred practice of ALL professional athletes🤼‍♂️🚴🏾‍♂️🏊🥊🥋🏃🏾‍♀️
