As a local I can confirm Pozsonyi Street is a very cool street. "Házi rétesbolt" where you can buy our traditional Hungarian pastry, rétes and only my mother makes better than them. :) "Pozsonyi Kisvendéglő" is a very good traditional restaurant in this street. Most of the tourist guides mention Ráday út/street for good restaurant. But that has became so touristy.
I'll definately try the Rétes next time I'm in the area, there are so many nice food places and every time I visit I find something new here. And since I love Rétes, I have to try it there too 😊
Pozsonyi út is my favorite place in the whole world. I love taking the number 2 tram to Jászai Mari tér and then take a long walk on Pozsonyi. I always get a babka or some teasütemény to take home. It's the dream of my life to live in an apartment at Ruttkai Éva park
Fantastic video as always. I will one day reach Stuffed Cabbage Adventures video status and quality 😂. Up until then, peace. Much support probably from the best local explorer. Not probably. The best
This was fun, I actually ate at this restaurant "Pozsonyi Kisvendéglő" when I was in Budapest some years ago. And my father is from Bratislava/Pozsony. And I actually didn't know the name of the street at that time. First time I ate Mazoballsoup, wich I really liked, jewish dish. Always take home like 5-8 kg of klobása/kolbasz whenever visiting central Europe.
Hi there, what a beautiful TH-cam channell you have! I'm visiting Budapest next month, I will definitely have a walk in this area. Speaking about typical food, which are the dishes I should absolutely try out as a foreigner that visits the city for the first time? :) Thank you!
Köszönöm! I'm visiting Budapest later this year. Your videos are really useful for planning how I'll spend my time. One question - after all the coffee, wine and beer .... are there toilets in these coffee shops and smaller eateries??
that is very difficult to say, but for example Getto Gulyás has good options, or Pozsonyi Kisvendéglő. To be honest it is very difficult to mess up, so you can try in any hungarian restaurant :)
As the Pozsonyi street is never really mentioned in Tourist guides and recommendations, I believe it's hidden from the eyes of most visitors of Budapest 🙂
