      I fought that nemesis by doing the Starch Solution and keeping it oil free! Now post menopausal and down over 45 lbs. You’ve got this!

      I went through the same thing. I did the Medical Mefium 369 Advanced cleanse to clean out my liver and have adopted an oil free high raw way of life-all that stubborn weight is sliding off. I strongly recommend a Medical Medium Cleanse.

      I cut down on cardio upped weight lifting and upped my protein and it has worked well so far. I’m peri menopausal.

    Love this video. 😍 Yes please make a video on cooking veggies 🍄🧅🫑 and baking 🥖🍪 without all the oils. Thank you so much for all your amazing videos. I used a food journal recently and discovered I wasn't getting enough calories. After increasing calories I have lost 10lbs so far.

    Great tips! Another thing that helps me is shifting focus from what I can't eat, to what I could eat more of. Like adding a fruit or vegetable to every meal. I took the opportunity to try new whole healthy plant foods, and add it to my diet.
    Also I used cronometer heavily in the beginning to track calories and nutrients. For instance, if there was a day I didn't get enough vitamin k, I'd say ok tomorrow I'm gonna make me some cabbage because I love cabbage. Thinking about what I could try or needed to get in that day, made me feel less deprived. Also left a lot less room for the overly processed foods lol.

    Yes please. A video on how to cook and bake without oil would be awesome! I do sauté with water. When I try to roast veggies with water, they come out steamed rather than roasted.

    Excellent advice to eat natural foods instead of processed foods. Calorie ratifying helps also so that you learn the quantity of particular foods that you can eat.

    I have been loving my WFPB lifestyle. What really stops my weight loss is what taste AMAZING!!!
    Breads and Pastas!
    Late night and want a snack, toast should not be the answer, but I am not sure what do about snack. I want something warm or that I can warm up. I have made banana/cocoa mug cake but I need other snacks.

    When I first went vegan I lost a lot of weight because I was eating right and working out, I didn’t eat the processed foods often. But let me tell you once I moved on the other side or town I saw all the vegan snacks🤣🤣 I was eating good over her. It got so bad I started making my own vegan snacks, vegan sauce, vegan breakfast patties and all🤦🏽‍♀️then when I looked up I was like🧐🤔😲Remind you I was still 🏋🏽‍♀️. So I cut back on a lot of stuff but still loved the very ice cream Ben and Jerry’s cookie one🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️ so nothing wasn’t working even tho I cut stuff off. So I remember telling my daughter I’m doing stuff right but still not losing weight she was like mom because you still doing the same workout 🏋🏽‍♀️ you been doing over the years😟So I was like let me look into stuff 40 and over then that’s where I found out I needed more protein🤩 so I went on a 40 day fast eating clean just to get me a jump start on eating healthy. I had lots of protein, i juice a lot healthy juice fruits and veggies. All beans/quinoa. No rice/pasta. And I also started boxing at home with Billy blanks👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 let me tell you I was losing weight before my fast was over with. And still going 💪🏽 Just always remember this weight loss start in the kitchen. If you snack don’t over over board, and not to often. I also had a stomach and belly down below🤦🏽‍♀️ but that went all the way down. Have to find what works for you because everyone is different🌹And if you use oil use 100% Grapeseed oil!!!! Now I didn’t use oil often🫶🏽 if so only a little.

    Yess I was just asking this to myself, like if I roast some veggies on a pan in the oven I want something that moistens those veggies but wouldn't like water just evaporate? Like if I were to brush a little bit of water on the veggies and then sprinkle some pink salt and pepper? I would definitely love a video on that

    Heck no! I went keto to lose weight... and it worked spectacularly! I lost 80 pounds the first year (all I needed to lose). I've been on the keto diet for over 35 years and have never had any health issues... not even a headache nor a cold in the winter. My energy levels are very high and I sleep 8 to 9 hours every night. I'm 73 years old now and I can still do cartwheels, several in a row, with my grandchildren on the back lawn in the summertime. I have not had to visit a doctor in 35 years since I started the keto diet and so I don't have health insurance because I don't need it. I have medical check=ups every year and the tests are always great... no problems with cholesterol A1C or anything else. My energy levels are great and my mood is always positive/happy. You should try it. Give it a 35-year try and see what you think.

    I love how people think vegan, vegetarian, plant based are healthy. One word "Oreos". It is all about what you eat regardless of the eating plan. Highly processed foods, too much fat and / or sugar has the same effect S.A.D or any other diet.

    Juice is processed food every bit as much as oil is. It's basically pure sugar which is really not good for your body even if you don't have any insulin resistance problems. You can get much of the benefits of a juice cleanse by just fasting instead. Also, it should be mentioned that white flour and white rice can be a real problem, and are also both calorically dense and hard on your pancreas and liver. Too many sweets and baked goods is a really common problem among vegans. Sugar may have less than half the calories of oil, but it's still 1775 calories per pound, which is a long way from what you get from fruit, while flour is over 1600 calories per pound. Going super low on oil is great but not if you're making up for it with jam on toast with a glass of OJ for breakfast. Your sweets should be real whole fruit, not dried or sweetened or juiced.

      Thanks so much Uriah! As mentioned in the vid, I did a mostly veggie juice fast (75% or more veggies). The added benefits of the gut-restoring nutrients were essential for me. I do agree that too many sweets and baked goods can be a problem for many! Thanks for adding the convo 😊

    Vegan. Lost weight. No problem. Couple years ago hereditary disease was discovered. Thank God. All my favorite foods: green leafy vegetables, excerabated my condition. Greens and cucerfoius veggies (favs) zero consumption now. I currently am revamping my diet still no animal and dairy (very little). Lots of nuts, squash and legumes. Gained @ 10 lbs 🙏Thank God for variety and diversity 😇

      It depends on the person and the type of foods eaten on the vegan diet (processed foods can halt weight loss). A diet centered mainly centered on plants/whole food plant based can give steady weight loss results pretty quickly.

    Just avoid anything that comes in there tin. Tinned beans, tinned leas, tinned chickpeas etc etc. All those can be bought dry, soak and cook. Even tinned tomatoes just buy tomatoes and blend to get that consistency.
