    I am going to wait until the 26’s come out, to give Toyota a year to work out any issues. That’s what I did with my 2020 Avalon hybrid. Nice car. Sorry to see them go away after 2022, but people aren’t buying big sedans. The new Camry is kind of like the younger cousin to the Avalon. Nice review 👍 Good to hear from somebody that knows the hybrid system.

    🟦 Traded in my 22 Civic sport touring last week. Canceled my Honda channels. It was a very nice little car. I enjoyed owning it for 26 months. Got a good price on trade too. Just small for me. Now we have a new Camry and new subscriptions to channels like yours. Looking forward to catching up on past videos and seeing what you have in the coming months.
    Much appreciated.

    Yes, Toyota did a great job, it looks great, like it more than the previous generation. Just love it all around, interior layout, outside the front looks much better, the reliable 2.5 motor and hybrid system. I’d buy one. It’s the perfect sedan, a winner. Great job on the video!!!

    • @TheYotaChannel
      @TheYotaChannel  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The battery i showed in this video is the small battery(12v). The battery you are referring to is the hybrid battery(the big one) under the seat

    Kinda wish Toyota offered a catalytic guard like they did with Prius...

    • @TheYotaChannel
      @TheYotaChannel  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      The location of the catalytic converter on the hybrid sedans makes it difficult for thieves to cut. They prefer trucks. Because they can crawl underneath much easier, often times not requiring a jack. The catalytic converter on trucks runs along the sides, while sedans and front wheel drive vehicles have them mounted right underneath the firewall

    I hate the fact that when the highlight is on the turn signal bulb is also on. It’s a new model and Toyota still using that old design. It makes the highlight look cheap. The previous generation has the lights like that too.

    0-8w oil, what has changed internally to require this oil? back in 2016 and 17 the Camry had a lot of issues burning oil. I never buy first or second year even if it's a Toyota. I bought the 24 Camry Se nightshade hybrid , last year models are the best. Top tip use the gas cap holder 👍

    • @TripleBerg
      @TripleBerg 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      They’ve been dropping the oil weight for awhile. Possibly to get better mpg. They also recommend oil change at 10K miles but I stay with 5K. Oil changes are cheap, engines not so much.😏

    • @brucewayne2773
      @brucewayne2773 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@TripleBerg That is an odd thing to go with 0-8w to get better mpg's, I have always stuck with 5k oil changes even when they came out with these so called 10k recommendations over 14 years ago. I don't think the engineers are fans of the 10k either, something the sales team tactic to upsell the low cost of maintenance and these free 2 year maintenance are a total joke.

    • @TripleBerg
      @TripleBerg 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@brucewayne2773 Good question. I know that Toyota claims their engines are blueprinted but you’re still going to have bits metal left over. I changed my Avalon went it got to it’s first 1,000 miles, then again at 5K and then every 5K after that. I changed my 2009 Camry every 3K and it is still running fine with 135K miles. My son-in-law drives an hour each way to work. 4 cylinder that gets close to 30 mpg on highway.

    Can you help answer some questions about the 2025 Camry. I can’t seem to find this information anywhere online, and the dealerships in my area say the car is too new so they don’t know the answers to my questions.
    1. Does the 2025 Carmy have steel knuckles or aluminum knuckles?
    2. Approximately how many shop hours to replace new lithium ion battery in 2025 Carmy under the seat? I’m hoping the new design requires less time to be removed to get the battery out.
    3. Does the 2025 Carmy have an electronically controlled variable oil pump?
    4. Does the ECVT transmission in the 2025 Camry have a slush lubrication system or does it have a dry sump system like the 2024 Prius Prime?
    5. Is the transmission in the 2025 Camry the PB12 transmission like in the 2024 Prius Prime which is lager than what is in the standard Prius?
    6. Does the 2025 Carmy have lug nuts with bolts or did you switch to bolts like on the 2024 Prius?
    7. Does the 2025 have a re-designed Two Piece timing chain cover like the 2024 Prius which was re-designed to eliminate the chances of leaks?

    And also a 2014 4 door Accord EX manual 4 cylinder in excellent road ready condition.
    Im keeping my Accords, as I really enjoy the manual, but I want a safer and updated long distance high mpg cruiser, and Honda dropped the ball on their new Accord.

Honda quality is gone. I will be trading it on a Camry. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way either. I'm in numerous forums online with everyone else who now hates Honda.
