I Remember your videos from before and looking through yep seen your separated from her the iolo iolo ex, I was right okay thanks I'm in Philippines retired US Navy in Pasay city Manila
The big house in iolo you both had to move or something because termites or something I remember that and haven't seen u since creating content here
Have you visited Malaybalay before? I hear its the Baguio of the south.
That's every Filipino's dream city..
@@sidedude1641 Malaybalay ?
One main reason baguio is different to other places in the Philippines is the people.they are called igorots which they value their territory, very well disciplined people,.maybe because they were not colonized by spanish unlike most part of the Philippines thats why they kept their tradition and culture.
Right. American thomasites introduce education which our for father find it interesting. So they welcome them.
Deffinlty not, coz they were the only who fought against Spaniards-
Yeah cuz Phillips are just like Spanish
Igorot people are shy, not flashy and super nice.
If Baguio had nothing, I'd still love it for the fact that I can jog, walk, run, hike for hours without getting overheated
That is so true!
That's one of my main attractions as well
Excellent video. Congratulations to the newly weds. I pray they have a happy and prosperous life together.
Why are you so active?
80s and 90s Baguio was very very beautiful. I always had afternoon walks, baguio tea house etc........ Baguio my favorite city.
They are a nice couple. Both humble. They are for keeps.
Yes! Incredible, happy, genuine humble couple
your a fortune teller ? You have no relationship 😂😂
Welcome to Baguio. I am from Manila and decided to stay here in Baguio permanently. The city is safe and clean.
Really? Geesh, huh? I have lived in Baguio for 30 years, I can never say that the city of disappearing pines is safe. First, it's congested, and water supply is atrocious. The a family of property developer is destroying the city. Crime city of the north.
Clean? It's highly polluted air
@@shandysnanny you have to understand that he is from Manila, so for him Baguio is very safe and clean but for us who were born and raised in Baguio, we have a lot of reservations. :)
@@shandysnanny wow, sorry to hear that as I'm planning a trip to there and back to Thailand for comparison to retire. Was there once, but 40yrs ago. Thanks for sharing. Maybe I can buy you a drink when there? 😎
@@user-vs7sm3ny5dif you say Baguio is highly polluted air then what do you called all cities in the Philippines that is much worse?
Filipinos are such great people. Random Saturday night and people are asking you to join them for wedding cake.
Only to white people. They will never invite the local at the other table. Fact.
Yana is gorgeous…..she reminds me of Ave from Avelovinit. Nori is a very lucky guy💪🏼🙏🏼
Miss my city. Born and raised in Baguio and I think about it everyday. Can’t wait to go back home again. For those who don’t know. It’s a walking city and a university city. Most honest taxi drivers and most fair in prices too. Accommodations is pricy because it’s vacation place. But the prices drops down during off season on the rainy months
cheers for the info ,good to know. And hope you a speedy return there my friend.👌
I have apartment in Upper Tomay, good price, also house in Sablan. I'm American
Your drone shots are so amazing especially the Baguio Cathedral… ❤ it! I am based in the US but we have a house in Baguio. I haven’t been there since pandemics and your video made me miss that place. Thank you for visiting Baguio
Hopefully you can come home for a visit soon 🙂. Thank you it's a fantastic drone
What a nice newlywed couple. Good luck to them.
I miss you Baguio❤
Thank you for visiting our beautiful and beloved country the Philippines 🇵🇭 ❤
Watching you from Singapore 🇸🇬
Nice aerial shots of the iconic cathedral
Love going to baguio every now and then as it's very accessible, lots of cheap accomodation and nothing like walking around the city day or night
Top 5 of all your videos I have seen. You didn't show up at a place mid-week with nothing going on. I loved the young newly weds. Please, meet them many more times in their future. Really, this was some of your best content EVER!!!❤
From Baguio city, cleanness and most honest and humble communities, I came California it’s no adjustment to food and weather, watching from California 💞🇵🇭🌍
A very lovely couple. Does she have a sister🤔😄? There are plenty of wonderful women in the Philippines, but I liked her feisty attitude. A very nice couple. I really enjoyed this video. Best wishes on your future adventures.
I'm from Baguio and we are one (if not the cleanest city in the PH) of the cleanest cities not only in the Philippines but in all ASEAN countries as of 2024. I would add people here are so disciplined and very polite. Baguio is so underrated for foreign tourists. I think we deserve more recognition. Love from Baguio city ❤
I'm retired Navy. Was in the PI for port visits 83-85. Baguio was the place known to go. Get a hotel, play golf, sight see, enjoy the good life.
i think iloilo is the cleanest second palawan third baguio
@@JamesLuna11-14 both are nothing compared to Baguio, been to all three and with Baguio's strict rules towards cleanliness takes the cake, you can not see rubbish anywhere except in designated garbage disposal areas
Ang kinalamang ng Ilo-ilo is ang pagiging artistic and gastronomic culture nila and the cultural heritage sites, while Davao is more on to Agritourism and Safety net Index.
Spent three years of my life there. But I lived inside the military academy which hope you visit. You can actually dine with the cadets just ask around when you're in there, how to make that happen. That would be a good experience for you.
I'm Filipino-American and my parents are from La Trinidad (just outside of Baguio). I've been there 5 times in my life with the last trip being 2007. Haven't been back because of career and trying to keep up with the "American Dream". I can't believe how much the Philippines has changed since my last visit. My mom goes back at most every couple of years for like 3 months. Even she tells me that it changes everytime she goes back.
What a beautiful place. Very clean and nice. And nothing like making new friends. Hopefully you can meet again!
I hope so too!
New subscribers here.. thank you for visiting our beautiful place.God bless and keep safe.
That was sweet to you and the married couple....Very Nice.....
I'm following this trip on google maps.
That SM Mall is Gigantic
I visited Baguio in 1985. Can’t wait to see your video of the city in the daytime. I’m sure it’s changed a lot.
Yes, sir, it is more tourist spot now here
Worst now no more trees etc 😅
@@josephrobi6806excuse me, there's still plenty of Pine Trees here and more trees to grow😊
Thank you for the nice presentation of Baguio.
I like so much this city.
Thank you sir for coming to our place, enjoy and besafe
Beautiful couple...and so typical of the Filipinos to invite you to share their cake. I miss the Philippines so much...that I might return.
BAGUIO!!! This brought back so, so many great memories, Michael!! From childhood to adulthood. This City is known as the Summer Capital of the Philippines, so there's a strong govt presence throughout. Many Americans (with military connections esp.) and foreigners chose to reside there after WWII.
BURNHAM PARK = named after American architect and Baguio city planner Daniel Burnham. Ohhh, memories ... 😊 😍 💖
Memories memories memories, oh Baguio City
Drone shots of the cathedral 😍😍😍
The newlyweds were so cute! And sweet! Going to Baguio in May. Thanks for the info. Oh, and please check in on them again! A year, maybe two. See how they're doing.
We stayed 4 nights in Baguio, and loved every bit of it. Only place I've worn my blue jeans in my 2+ years living in Philippines. Was so glad i packed my sweatshirt hoodie!
Worth the wait ! Cool video, great people ! I think we have a winner... 😎
Brings back memories for me, we got married in Angeles in 1990 and had our honeymoon in Baguio paid for by my wife’s boss. A few months later they had an earthquake and hotel we stayed in collapsed like a deck of cards. Really loved it there.Cheers Greg from Noosa Hds Australia
It's the Hyatt-Baguio Hotel. A cousin who's on duty at the casino during the earthquake died when the hotel collapsed. I visited her and stayed at her home for several days 2 weeks before tragedy struck.
Your hotel collapsed and you loved it there.
Okay 🆗😂
Go check out the hot springs and walking bridges ❤️
Thanks you for your good words about our city....Agyamanak...
I really enjoy the couple you are exploring with. They seem to be so much fun. Have a great time, Michael. ❤
They are so much fun! what a blessing for me to meet them
Baguio City is amazing
Yeah but, those mountain roads...
Every Filipino dream city.
🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
This is my favorite so far among videos that you posted...Also, congratulations in connecting with this young couple who generously shared with you a serving of Sans Rival cake! That used to be the quintessential dessert in the 1960s and that it's supposed to have been a recreation by wealthy Filipinos who studied and traveled in Europe of a cake they had there. Unfortunately it's not as easily available as before.---That music accompanying dawn photos of Baguio is elegant and lyrical reflecting your excellent taste. All the best in your Philippine journey! ---- viewer from WDC.
Wow! Baguio City is just amazing!! Didn't expect it to be so touristy. Thanks Mike!!!!
HI brother thank you for the video great one
Im 61 yr old American who married Igorot woman. Apartment in LA Trinidad and house in Sablan. I love Baguio, ate at many restaurants there, my favorites called Good Taste. Very nice people there.
Great video, Mike! I have always loved staying in Baguio City. Hoping to live there someday.
Beautiful Couple OMG Yana is Gorgeous!
The Bat Cave!❤😂
WELCOME TO THE VITY OF PINES.GODBLESS YOU ALL.
"She wants ballut." best line in the vlog! Can't wait to visit the Philippines someday soon.
Are you also going to Atok ni Benguet? Hope you go there, its a very nice tourist spot with picturesque mountain view very peaceful lots of flowers
I don't want to give away what I do next but anything I miss I'll catch next time
The music and the last part scene I love it💯🥰
I love Baguio. Best experience i had there.
❤
Explore around Camp John Hay and Baguio's renowned art cafès and the music bars. Damn, I terribly miss Baguio. Thanks Mike for the tour.
Sunset in SM Baguio by the terrace is great! Enjoy your stay in Baguio!
My wife and I LOVE your videos. We just subscribed! Spent a few months in the Philippines in Cebu. The people and the country are beautiful!!
Great Michael! Baguio has many spots to go to. You can spend days there....
Thanks for blogging Baguio. I miss this place. I had visited Baguio 3 times when I was a kid with my family. We had fun. I enjoyed the pleasant weather. For me, it wasn’t that cold. It still felt hot for me in the afternoon because of the sunshine. I’m used to being indoor a lot & being in air conditioned place. I was raised & grew up in the Philippines for 14 years. I’m now 20 years old in Oregon missing a lot of good people & fun places from the Philippines.
Awesome City Michael ..........Can't wait for Continuation!!.......Loving you're touring Vloggs.
There's no place like Baguio my hometown at its best!❤😊
That was beautiful ❤ Thank you my friend😀
That was a great video Micheal, that couple were so sweet. I'll have to visit Baguio one day. My fiancee lives on Northern Samar so I spend most of my visits there but need to see more of Luzon (only seen around Manila, Makati, BGC etc). I've explored the touristy locations (Palawan, Boracay and Bohol) but I find the small provincial towns more of an adventure. Nothing like having a shower with a tabo and bucket of cold water to wake you up of a morning.
Nice background music
The sunset terrace is located in the last floor. You can see the best view there. Try to visit other tourist spots in baguio too like botanical garden, camp john hay, igorot stone kingdom, minesview park and strawberry farm.
Welcome to our Country l hope you enjoy your stay♥️♥️♥️🌷🌷🌷
Excellent ending music... Baguio City is on my list to visit.
Cute Newlyweds!! 🥰 They even look alike. 💝 💘
Perfect for eachother
They do and they seem cool and nice
We're going next week! Looking forward to it!
Having a great time watching this video it reminds me when i was there in Baguio 11yrs ago with 9 members of the family touring around and also visiting my best friend who lives there 😳
Thank you for the tour of both places I'll be going to next time I'm in the Philippines! Baguio and Vigan are on my list of places to visit. Thanks again for the great content ❤
Congrats to the newlyweds!
Now that is how you make a video of Baguio. Can not wait for part 2. Going to watch part one again tomorrow. Great job.
Great video! So glad you are showcasing the genuine goodness of Filipino people! No wonder you live there! Can’t wait to retire there myself! Because of you, I am going to check out Vigan! Never knew it was so picturesque!
Can't wait to see the rest of your Baguio tour Michael...
Great drone shots Mike! Baguio will always be one of my favorite cities in the Philippines❤
Very nice city to cold for me. I like the heat. What a nice couple it’s always nice to meet nice people. I have meet so many wonderful people traveling around. Almost to Roxas City. A ferry ride tomorrow and another 3 hours ride should get me there.
When you go back to Baguio, head out to Choco-late de Batirol at Camp John Hay. A fresh ground variation on hot chocolate with a gazillion varieties. Camp John Hay also has great spots to picnic, play golf, play mini-golf, etc. Love Baguio. Went there on my first visit to see my fiancee and now wife of seven years. Traffic can be dreadful though.
I will put Baguio on my list!
Thanks!
