As they say, BAGUIO IS ONE OF THE TOP CLEANEST AND SAFEST CITIES IN THE PHILIPPINES. Well I agree. In addition to the cool weather. Nice parks to go strolling on. Walking is wonderful because it is cool.
Baguio is a great place. Let's start with the fact it's got great weather, the cab drivers are honest and courteous, people line up for rides, discipline is big, cheaper utilities coz you don't need AC, fresh veggies and fruits galore. Lots of restos, residents are used to tourists. Prices aren't bad. Nothings perfect so its the landslides and occasional power outtages after heavy rains. You got tons of vegetation so expect mosquitoes... BUT ALL IN ALL ITS A GREAT PLACE
Manny,it's great that u made it 2 Baguio the views from some of the look out points is worth getting a little dizzy.Dont forget the Butterfly garden take care bud.
Its so hot in Jersey City right now watching this made it seem cooler...been to Baguio 3 or 4 times before but at that time there was no SM mall yet, nice views, Burnham park i remember pretty well, we rented bikes there, also the Palace, and Mountain view park i think. Baguio was always used as the mountain stages for the once popular Tour of the Philippines bike race (similar to the Tour de France). Thanks i enjoyed this update of Baguio.
was so nice to hear "one of the coldest place in the Philippines"...sad to say it was once the coldest😢. Bit due to Climate change, it isn't already that cold.
Baguio is my hometown and left to work far. I always miss the climate we have there, the good friendly vibes of the residence and the chill feelings. The best thing about Baguio is the sanctuary it offers to people who wanted to go walk around, to clear your thoughts, and try to enjoy the day. When it is true that there are traffic issues due to limited access caused by the high volume of tourist entering the city with their private cars - what we residence do is to better go out early in the morning around 5am for a jogging or walks at Burnham Park or Athletic Bowl. That's the best time. When you see the breeze over the lake, the evaporation omitted in the wet grasses, having fresh air, no loud horns, and the road opens wide with no traffic felt great. Sitting beneath the Pine trees as we watch the sun rises. Joining Zumba or aerobic dances for free. That's when you would more likely appreciate Baguio. Mid day walk when it is sunny is not my thing becuz you'd sweat a little but if it is your purpose to sweat then go boating, walk going to sm sky ranch, ride bicycle at burnham, do horse riding, but, the best part is probably go eat at a resto, fast foods, sampgyupsal, or catering.. and be at the highest floor there could be to watch at the window the passing cars, the traffic, and the people passing by while eating. Afternoon walk is also good, go see the sunset in SM, Mines view etc, but when it rains the best part is to go look for a coffee shop cuz it will get colder and you'll see the rains pour while the wind causes the pine trees leaves to dance and the city getting engulfs in fogs. If you love to walk around a lot of people, session rd is the best place.. you'll see a lot of beautiful men and women with their glamorous clothes or suites going to school, work, and walking around taking pictures. Night walk is also the best part and going to coffee shop after the walk. That's how we enjoy it. We strongly advise tourists to better not bring their cars and instead use public transpo when traveling around Baguio to avoid traffic. There are a lot of honest taxi cabs that can cater your travel. Baguio is a small city, if you only prefer to check on the central business district area better walk around to appreciate the beauty of Baguio. Hope you've enjoyed your stay there in Baguio. Note: Baguio is only super traffic during long weekends, holiday seasons, and festivities.

Ohh Baguio!! It's where Gener grew up! It's nice and cool over there, sorta like Tagaytay! You even rode the bus up! Fun exploration as always! Loving the views over there, we had steak there when we last went lol..
Try to explore the Diplomat hotel and teacher's camp and the Laperal House, which is turned into a reservation eatery house. and try the ube taho and strawberry taho. and go to strawberry farm.

I need to go there to cool off 😂 The humidity in Cavite is crazy! It’s been raining everyday but it makes me sweat more 😂 did you stay? If you don’t mind, where did you stay? Take care.

Baguio is the richest city in the Philippines outside of Metro Manila, by GDP as per PSA 2024 report.
True well said
GDP per capita, not GDP. It also has the highest HDI/quality of life among all cities in the country.
The music soothes my mind.

Hi manny ❤
Hello Victoria
Hello, is there any concern about landslides in Baguio City? I am coming to this August and I have a little concern about it.
Landslides? yes, but only if there is a typhoon but just a minor landslide only where it is only happen in the outskirt of Baguio.
There are Two roads that leads to Baguio as long as u dont take the dangerous road thats underdeveloped headed to the Lion statue.
Baguio's urban planning was designed by Daniel Burnham that is why it sometimes feels like a US city.
Pretty interesting
Same guy who designed Chicago
It would be nice if you talk to locals ...Filipinos are friendly and majority can converse well in English.
Most foreigners didn't expect we could converse in English.. sometimes, better than them.
You should go their by January it's more amazing because it's colder.
It’s better to come here in Baguio on February because of the coldest weather, the Flower Festival (Panagbenga) Valentines Day, PMA Alumni Homecoming.
