Welcome to "That Philippines Life" -This Place CAN'T BE REAL! Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar Philippines, its like a city from 120 years ago, the venice feel and some of the oldest heritage homes in the Philippines. This place is not only a top rated resort but also a functioning mini city..

Thank you everyone for watching please subscribe if you like these vlogs. The link is in the description, it's located in Bagac Bataan just 35 minutes south of Subic Bay
Where this place is it in Intramuros Manila?
Common Filipinos don't have the luxuries to tour around our country. We are one busy earning a living......if given extra money and time why not. A good example OFW's once they get time and extra money they go for it, the thing is OFW's only have limited time.......
What’s more amazing is Mr. Acuzar cataloged the houses brick by brick, plank by plank, disassembled the houses, then reassembled them. This is a testament of how incompetent the Philippine government is. They could care less about heritage house preservation.
the first bldg is anamerican. build and used by US soldiers
Thank you Sir I salute you. Its so refreshing to know and be shown the wonders & awe inspiring attraction of our country. It is so wonderful!
Ito ang dapat gawin ng mga bloggers natin. Introduce & let people around the world the beauty and splendour of our country. Hindi puros tira ng tira tagaan ng tagaan, lahat ng baho exposed, negativities. To all bloggers yan pang foreigner nagkaisip pakita ang bansa natin. So are you reading this Madam Tutubi, D Mar, E Recto lahat kayo bloggers wake up!!!!!!
TRIVIA: The owner of that place Mr. Jerry Acuzar is currently the Secretary Of Urban Development and his project in Manila is the Esplanade around Pasig River.
Nice info there. Hope he can return the beauty of Manila. Such a heavy burden but hopes he succeed.
@@Ceruleanmonster you have to watch several Filipino vloggers there's big big big improvement. Actually, I don't think you really knew Manila.
Thank you for the info, I did'nt know that.
@@Ceruleanmonster Agree, I hope he can return the tranvia in some portions of Manila.
You nailed it man. You're the only vlogger who I know covered that place. Most of the foreign vloggers do STREET FOOD, BEACHES, BORACAY, EL NIDO , PALAWAN. Very well man.
There was a foreign family with kids that vlogged about this last week.. they had to cough up another 10k for bringing their dog with them and had to switch to another house as the one they reserved doesn't allow pets.
Their booking rate just jumped thanks to this vlog
FINN SNOW and Hungry syrian the famous bloggers long time ago
Juicy vlog, mom's duty, and the one with a mexican wife and two sons( i forgot their channel), and i think making it happen went tbere too.
I wish old Manila could be transformed to this kind of beauty. Really cool.
A part of Manila is. Intramuros has preserved this look and buildings di ba?
@@kenpoed Intramuros is mostly ruin, and was never completely rebuilt, except a few buildings.
@kenpoed No it hasn’t. The only original structure in Intramuros is the San Agustin church. Everything else is newly built and are inaccurate replicas at that. Except maybe the San Luis complex and Manila cathedral
Omg. I am a Filipino and I don’t even know this existed in the Philippines. So so beautiful place. Thank you for covering this. Mabuhay!
Oh man really???
i've known for a long time about its existence. just couldn't afford a visit, lol. nice to see it through vlogs at least
They have a 2nd location in metro manila but not as grand as the one in Bataan. The one in Quezon City don’t have a canal but still a good events place, hotel & restaurants spot.
Oh really? What a bummer!
ME TOO I DID NOT KNOW THAT ONE EXISTED.
The Filipina tour guide did an EXCELLENT job in touring Michael. 😊
Yes, she did ... but (constructive suggestion only) perhaps she could SLOW down her Delivery. Her English is fine, but fast speaking style does not match the cultured beauty of the place. A Speech Coach could truly improve her delivery. imo 🫠
My sentiment exactly. A bit of speech training will give her a better presentation.
She wears Maria Clara but too far from being one.. if her demeanor and speech are Maria Clara like then she's perfect
All toursim employees should watch Presello if they want to improve their presentation. They will surely learn a lot from that channel on how to promote, market, sell whatever it is they are presnting. As for the Tour Guide in this vlog. I think she did an awesome job considering she was probably given the task at the last minute and had little time to prepare. And with that in mind, here is a 💯percent for a job well done. 😊@@romeosinson4446
My tour guide for this hotel was far better........far prettier too !!
I’m a Pilipino watching fr UK ( left PH nearly 5 decades ago ) . I didn’t know that beautiful place! I love the way they keep the place nice, clean & tidy ! Thank you very much for filming the whole place. I know lots of OFW will visit the place ! God Bless you all 🙏🙏🙏❤️
I cant. Imagine. There was a place there in bagac bataan,i hope one day i can visit this place it was dream come. True to me if i can. Go and stand this place .i love it. ..this unique place...
So proud of you Mike for showing this place in the Philippines
Thanks for this ❤
The man who built Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar is also the one who donated the light fixtures used for the restoration of the Jones Bridge in Manila. He is also the one heading the Pasig River Esplanade project. We visited and stayed at this place in 2011. Only a year after it opened.
I stayed in this place wid my wife and daughter in 2022.
True because Acuzar knows how to play games in politics. That's why he is now in Marcos administration to get what he invested to your President now .I heard to Claire AKA Boldyak TV that he is very2x corrupt .
My office has a seminar activities at Las casas filipinas de acuzar.since 2012
Where is this place located?
That man is a hero
The Filipino Owner of this project is none other than, Jose "Jerry" Rizalino Larion Acuzar. Brilliant! 👍💖🎉💚🧡💛
you should get this trip free for as much people you have reached and touched with this comprehensive tour. great job and thank you. As a poor person people like you allow me to see things ill never see in person. Best Wishes.

Because it’s too darn expensive for the locals, can’t afford. Only good for the foreigners, rich and famous. Everything is fake , it’s beautiful but it’s just a resort. Recently traveled to Vietnam, enjoyed their well preserved ancient building and rich historical landmark, ancient cities interlocking with the modern world. Philippines has nothing to showcase due to lots of corrupt people that’s including the governments. What a shameful thing. Philippines will remained poor country
Including me , too bad
Proud ka pa tlaga hahh🤔
I have visited this location before and was truly captivated by the array of ancient houses present. It feels as though you have been transported back to the 18th century. The individual responsible for creating this entire development is the current Secretary for HSUD, Sec. Acuzar. His vision is to construct this entire development to educate both the present and future generations about our history. While I have come across numerous vloggers featuring this place, yours stands out due to its meticulous attention to detail and ability to capture the best spots and angles, providing viewers with an immersive experience as if they were also physically present.
Yes, agree! I’ve also seen brief features of this place from news/travel Phil shows, but I prefer M’s, & you explained why exactly. More immersive. I did enjoy the 2h walking tour online someone mentioned in this comment section. But I looked it up AFTER M. piqued my interest with this video. His joy & enthusiasm are infectious. He seems so happy to be there. //About the convention center (replica of Old Manila hotel), although there were no pics of the interior; I am sure there were written accounts/journals/news reporters, with written descriptions of the interior. For example, Franciscan Friars & I’m sure many other traveling Orders, or traveling governmental officials, kept detailed, meticulously descriptive journals of not just the rural areas, but of cities & palaces, etc that they visited in their mission countries.
Wow amazing
I agree i felt that i'm actually present there.❤
I went here like more than 10 years ago and the place surely has improved a lot. It makes me really proud as a Filipino!
My gosh... i mean...WOW 😮😮😮. I am currently working in the office and i can't take my eyes off your video while on my PC. This place is stunningly and unbelievably beautiful. You brought me into another place and era while watching your video. Thanks for showing this to your viewers and may you continue learning and enjoying while exploring our country. All the best to you kuya 👏👏👏
Surprisingly, this seaside resort reminds me a little of the Newport, Rhode Island mansions. Just, overwhelming luxury and craftsmanship, from a Philippines angle. Not just a beautiful resort, this video is a showcase for art and style, and a bit of history in the paintings, sculptures, and even the buildings. Fascinating place ! And such helpful guides, you can't go wrong.
That house looks like exactly my grandparents houses. That’s the traditional vibes during the spanish era.
Amazing

@@ThatPhilippinesLifeYou are welcome Michael.
Amazing beautiful place of my country the Philippines that's why they called it The Paris of Asia
No, it's not. How can it be Paris when there are shopping malls everywhere?
This place needs more marketing...
Medyo mahal kasi mag-stay dito. Mga alta lang afford mag-stay.
Big wow amazing PINAS
Uhmmm no shpuld be kept for the ELITES not the tiktokerist generation
It's really ranging for 3-4 star accomodation that's why it can't be marketed for everyone. Upper Middle Class and up are those who can avail to this.
@@PilipinasGanapTV Tama po , pricey kaya ordinaryong Pinoy di afford ,upper middle class & up lng may kakayahan makapunta ,afford ng facilities 😢
WOW Mike thanks for bringing this kind of content here in YT!. I would have never known this place exists. Now another one on my to do list when I vacation with the fam in the Philippines!
This video has a significant impact to promote this place.
wow!! Thank you for letting us know that we have this in our own country!! Why its not being promoted yet? This is a lot better than BGC. this is the real heritage....part of Filipino Culture.. Heart melting, incredible place to visit!!
The best content I've seen, it's not just about the scene but it's the rich history and how those structures was build
Wow seems you toured back in time Mike during the Spanish period. This resort is a real gem of the Philippines preserving and restoring the old Spanish era structures and heritage . This can be a beautiful Film locations. Reliving the old Philippines.
Out of all the TH-camrs there, you always go to the most interesting places.
Am totally ashamed and dumbfounded. What a Filipino Citizen I am. So ignorant and unappreciative of our country’s Spanish colonial heritage. I cannot thank you enough, Mike for opening this massive vault of authentic Hispano-Filipino arts in architecture. May you be blessed more.
The Spanish-Filipino-Chinese fusion structures of old manila and the philippines looks stunning.
Amazing thanks for showcasing this great place
I'm Filipino and I discovered this place when I was watching virtual walk tours of places in Philippines. I was in awe 😮
Thank you Mike! It's ashame that we, Filipinos don't even know that these amazing places you've been covering exist in our own Country! With such gratitude to see & know/learn our heritage of the Children today & into the future. We are honored for what you do. Enjoy each and every tour. Thank you for re-acquanting Filipinos to our lost Culture. Be safe and wishing you all the best. 👏☝️🙏💚🤍❤️

Hello Michael, It is so nice to see this place in Bagac. I live in Bataan for 2 years when I work in the construction of Bataan Nuclear Power plant from 1982-1984. Well done Michael.
I've been here during our company tour, the place is sooooo amazing, I felt like I was on the time way back 17th century, the buildings the ambiance the furniture's the walls etc.....❤ thanks for featuring this beautiful place.
Exact locations please 🙏
I didn't even know this place exist in pH! This place deserves to be more popular and known❤
Thank you for the tour Michael. This was stunning!
You hit something in there Michael. I have never been there. My Dad fought in Corregidor; was a death march escapee in Capas. Tarlac. That's all the attachment of my family in that place. My cousin, a Greek, I heard fell in love with that place while I was living abroad and started buying up properties in there. It reminded him of Greece I suppose but now your exposure of the place makes me eye the place to retire. No wonder. He saw it! Sparsely populated and the people I have been noticing are exemplary the old kind respectable and hospitable educated Filipinos. Just look at their gleam in their faces. Each one you come across, people from the park to the market you could see in their faces it's aura. Speaks good English enough to embarrass an Italian you'd come across in a rural part of Italy. The arts found around even in the park or plaza. The Cross, the Churches, the school are the kind of architecture that show signs of closeness to Deity. Hmmmm. I am beginning to fall in-love with the place and the special kind of people you've met in there in all 3 videos of Bataan.
Very nice video, houses you don't see anymore.
It's like Old Manila when she was crowned the pearl of the orient. Thank you for sharing, and whoever reads this have an awesome rest of your day. 😊
I'm looking forward to visit that place when we visit the Philippines in July. Thanks for sharing! :)
44:26 Thats my friends house built in late 1800s before it was bought and transferred to that area piece be piece and where the movie "Burlesque Queen" in 1977 was filmed as Vilma Santos house. Lots of memories in that house.
Exact locations please 🙏

YES SHE IS VERY HIGH SPEED WHEN TALKING ,WHEN TALKING TO PEOPLES...
THIS MARVELOUS PLACE SHOULD BE DECLARED AS A NATIONAL TREASURE IF IT IS POSSIBLE😍🤩🥰🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭❤️❤️❤️
Wow thank you for sharing sana makapunta ako dyan in the future.
Wow very nice it is very nice, thanks for sharing this vlog...
There are jeepneys all over the country not only in Manila. The houses are real old houses from different provinces that were built mostly during the Spanish time. I am sure your guides can sing and dance. Filipinos are shy in nature.
Full complete video of de acuzar. Excellent 😃
looking forward to visit the place. thanks for the quick tour.
Thanks for sharing this. That place is amazing.
Cool i have only seen this place once bits and pieces of it nice you have better videos of it cool place nice to know.

WOW Philippines !!! Very Beautiful Place !!! One of a Kind !!!
God bless you and mabuhay po kayo vlogger for showing that beautiful casas de Filipinos.
Wow! I'm a filipino but never knew this place existed. Many thanks for showing this to us.
Na KMJS na Yan dati
Just blown away? I admire the details in each building! Definitely a labor of love!
These are real existing old buildings in different part of the country. I don't know how they were able to move these over here. In my city down south, as a child we would pass with awe some big old Spanish houses we called mga 'Bahay n Bato' in our city proper mismo. The last time I was there last year those houses were already demolished giving way to modern buildings.
amazing views & place,hope i can visit there someday,more power & god bless,stay safe
hi thanks for sharing this beautiful amzing place in our country

Great job ... I will put this place on my bucket list.
Has to be a labor of love, how could the owner ever recoup what he has put into this paradise❤
Incredible journey. Thanks for a well put together glimpse of this amazing place
Wow ang ganda..
Amazing! Makes me want to fly back to Philippines!
For giving that place a one hour advertisement, you should be the one to get paid by the resort, or at a very least a big big discount.
Agree.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful place in the Philippines 🇵🇭…
Wow so Beautiful. Thanks for sharing & God bless you. Stay safe. Mabuhay.🎉😊
WOW !!!! I've never known these exist in my country

i didn’t know there’s such a place like that here 😁. old manila/spanish feels w/ a bit of venice, wow. just breathtaking. i hope i can visit one day. thank you for sharing ❤️
Seeing those beautiful places in the country makes me feel proud of being a part of the Philippines.
please attract more Canadians to visit the PH sir. Thank you and Godbless
Since you arrived in Luzon, from one video to the next, nothing but incredible footage of different places and towns so unique and special in their own way. Bataan has been the most surprising so far!
Awesome vlog. Detailed views of the rare places on earth...a real precious find .
thats one great place. Nice ambience'
there's a Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Quezon City also but this one is massive like a city in the making
So many great tourist destinations in PH, but the main issue is the lack of efficient transportation infrastructure. A massive rail/subway network plus bridges that connect the island are a must for this type of business to flourish.
🙄 it's accessible and those things that you are saying are in the process of construction
Grab taxis can reach those places. There is a bridge being constructed from Cavite to Bataan. So Bataan will be accessible from Metro Manila once the bridge is finished. There are a lot of bridges being planned to connect the different islands.
It is like you’re in another time and in another world .. awesome
ang ganda ng location meron palang ganito s pinas😁sobrang ganda bagay sa mga pelikula
Amazing Las Casas Bataan ever ❤
They are wearing the Guerrilla uniform, worn during the 1800s.
No, I believe this was the Guardia Sibil(Civil Guard) uniform during the Spanish colonial era.
Wow,sucn an amazing and beautiful place to visit....it brings memories to past centuries...
Thatt's the house (above that street that looks like tunnel) were we stayed.
It's got a huge reception area (or living room with complimentary coffee & cream (in sachets), some cups & saucers and an electric kettle for hot water in a side table. The 2 (two) big airconditioned rooms both have 3 beds (1 king size & 2 doubles), and comfort room wiith bath tub, shower & the toilet with bidet and a powder side table with big mirror. A tv set, personal ref, cash/jewelry box with combination lock, big closets with robes, towels & slippers. And a separate closet with extra foam mattresses which you can use in the reception area (or living room) as there are not much seats (chairs) available.
One of my grandsom (who was about 6 years old back then) got a foam mattress and placed it between beds and slept there!!! (He prefers it over the luxurious bed with thick, firm foam mattress.
We just learned this in the morning because he was nowhere in anynofvthe 3 beds!!!
The rooms accomodations are great!!!
We were 11 pax - 7 adults & 4 kids, aged 4~6 yrs old.
Btw, we selected that house because there is a kid pool beside the house that resembles a river... the children loved it!!!
We booked the place during their "rainy months' promo" and got 50% discount for our overnight accomodation. Good thing, there was no rain when we visited the Las Casas.
It was totally a different & new experience!!!
There' is also a beachfront were visitors can swim.
Great video again ❤. It’s nice to see you covered other parts of the Philippines.
Other vloggers do other’s videos that’s getting very boring. It’s always about drama and dirty talk to get there viewers up.
It will be nice to cover Nueva viscaya someday.
I was here last year. the place was amazing specially their 18th century houses from all over the Philippines. Even Dr Jose Rizal ancestral home was there. Want really amazed me was the long mosaic stairs ,floors and ceilings. We also had a boat tour going to the difference casas. Nice place in Bataan
So amazing !! I am surprise of all the unique places & great humble kind people that are in the Philippines . I never knew until I started watching. It is so so much to see & appreciate !!
I am thankful that I can view all the wonderful rare unique peaceful places and the many many talents of the beautiful Filipino people ❤🙏
Wow Omg!

Wow! A truly NEW place for me. Never heard of Las Casas Filipinas before, Michael! Thank you for finding it for us.
There's a small version of Las Casas Filipinas in Quezon City. This one However is literally like a city
