    Is that morse code around the front of the knife?

    • @DirkWerning
      @DirkWerning  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It’s is I knew I missed mentioning something.
      The letters are FTE and they are a reference to the “Face Toward Enemy” inscription shown in raised lettering on one side of a Claymore mine.

      @@DirkWerning that's really cool!

      Actually it's "front" toward enemy which is reference to a real claymore.

    Thank you for your outstanding review!
    I have the exact same Claymore in black.
    Just love that knife.
    Again, thank you, best wishes to you from Germany!

    This bad boy in all black is on it’s way to me. The first automatic I fell in love with was the Gerber 06. So excited to get this piece. It’ll be my third Benchmade in my collection.

    black blades look so good with serrations

  • @johnskibler
    @johnskibler ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Got a black one a couple months ago, with serrations though plain edge is available now. This is intended to be my daily "hard user" and serrations are super useful in such knives. My pretty, safe queenie OTFs and Protechs are plain edge. I do have a plain edge Adamas should I change my mind. God I spend too much money on this stuff.

    They used to use D2 on the older infidels. They later then switched it to S30V.

    I used get all my Benchmades partially serrated because they were useful blades. Most who don't like 'em probably feel that they throw the aesthetics off. Benchmade likes to inset them the way they're ground, potentially making them look even a bit worse.. LOL 😬

    I really want this knife but they don’t sell them where I live even tho it’s legal and you can’t get it shipped unless you qualify

    CPM-D2 is not ordinary D2, BTW. Check it out... 👍🔥🗡️

    Beautiful knife. Very thorough review. Is Benchmade 100% made in America?

    I bought one, instead of spending a fortune on another infidel or autocrat. I like it but I wish to god they’d have had one in the store I went to without the fucking serrations.

    So apparently this knife can’t be ordered across state lines unless you have some federal exemption total bs.
