The only problem with button lock / safeties of this type is that it doesn't work well for lefties. I'm sure you can attest to this. Noticed you fired the knife in your right hand, but handled the knife a great deal in your lefty hand, my fellow "wrong" hander.
Nice knife. WHAT, $234? Hmm, buy that or be able to buy food all next month. Hard choice...NOT. I picked up a lovely little Oerla fixed for $27 last year.
Been on my radar for awhile. Funny how people seem oblivious to the XHP & powder metal D2 Wouldn’t mind seeing this clad in some milled aluminum or even titanium. Maybe a gold class version? They should skip the Damascus blade & go with magnacut or that super edge retention stuff - 15V that Spyderco has been playing with
So how does it take an edge compared to Benchmade CPM-M4 like a superfreek? I’ve heard that the CPM-D2 really responds well to sharpening, and can get a screaming sharp edge with much less effort than M4, but I wanted to hear the truth from you.
I get it’s USA made, I get its a button lock auto, I also get its using the same handle material as Cold Steel’s budget friendly Voyager, get it is using a more premium D2 but that not the same as ubiquitous S35vn either… So in essence I am paying a premium price for what should be a budget friendly knife because it a … Benchmade? I think I will pass. Your mileage may vary!

I got a Plain Edge for a total of 176.00 on a black Friday deal that I stacked 20 percent off. Cant complain one bit!

Nice piece but Benchmade has gotten out of control with their pricing. Benchmade lower your prices and you will gain customers
It's a lovely product, but it'd be nicer without the serrations. It's a moot point though because here in the UK we're not allowed such things.
They make a plain edge version. It’s the 9070BK. What is shown in this video is 9070SBK (The S means serrated).

I would agree with that assessment, but it doesn’t hold an edge quite as well as CPM-M4.
You should encourage people to support stores you can wake into and handle a knife rather than ordering.

Why is Benchmade so expensive? They make tons of money off NSN contracts with the military.
That's why. Now they're USED TO raking in buckets of cash.
U gotta try the Benchmade Full Amunity.
Too small
If you cant afford this knife..walmart sells knives..just sayin
Just ordered one from whitemountain knives for under 200 bucks
