it is $500 and comes with one shroud to duct out the hot air - also preassembled. definitely the best value on the market :)
@@michaelburns9735 that’s very good, similar variations I’ve seen go for 1500+ … I’ve used silicone 3D printed shrouds and they’ve torn apart. Thanks!

Another great video. The box is too expensive, I’d pay no more than $250, I could build a box out of a cooler to get the same effect for less than $100. Thanks for the research!!
Most products are that way, though.. you could sew together a shirt for like $.75 of fabric. You could replace a light switch in your own house for a couple bucks. You could make a kitchen table for like $50 of wood.

So I don’t see the ducting or fan anywhere for purchase on their website. Do you have a recommendation on which to purchase that will fit this set up as you have here?
Hey, we will put some recommendations on the website. All you need is 8 inch ducting, which is really cheap and then an 8 inch fan of your choice.

Does anyone know if Cryptology consulting is still in business? I want to order some soundproof boxes but I wanted to make sure they will ship product once I pay. I've sent multiple messages and calls with no replies. Bummed. These look awesome and I have couple Antminers on the way!
Im slightly confused with the ducting & fan set up. So does the fan attach to both ends of the ducting thats attached to the box i.e. pull the hot air, cool it down via the fan then send the cool air back to the back of the box? Or does it just suck the hot air and blow it away via some other ducting?
Fans can not cool air, they only move it.. So the fan is connected to either end, either pushing cool air through the whole system, or pulling hot air out from the system, and then yes, you would hook another duct at the exhaust side and have the air go wherever you want.. In the winter, maybe thats back into the room for heat, in the summer maybe thats outside.

What is the recommended duct size to reduce the sound? Planning to just let the heat out to the exhaust.

They Scammed.
I order my soundproof box from cryptology consulting on November 12th, 2022, it’s now January 15th, 2023, and I still haven’t gotten my item. I sent them 7+ emails, called them 3 times, and sent them 2 messages on Facebook and I only got 2 responses from them out of all of that. this is a scam do not order anything from them. $600 down the drain. and they confirmed in one of the responses that they had received my payment from me.
also to review an item they have to approve it. big red flag
What's the return policy? I bought a LiteSound Box that was supposed to quiet down my S19 Pro. It did, but the unit immediately overheated. I tried everything.
Hello, I am the creator of the box. It won't over heat, lots of methods to deal with it. Email me at info@cryptologyconsulting.com and I will take care of you personally.
The key is isolating the exhaust side so that it can only exit and can’t swirl back into the intake. That cheap little piece of foam is the difference maker! (I can’t speak to the return policy but hopefully Michael jumps in here)
Would like to also quickly jump in, if you're having an issue with not getting heat out, toss an inline fan in the duct work (Exhaust Side) and it will fix this. We run an 8" inline at 700+ CFMs to make sure no heat gets trapped and recirculated.
@@cryptocloaks Yeah, did that. Had 6 inch to 8 inch insulated ducting with a large HVAC fan sucking the air out. No kinks or collapses in the ducting.

I told my self if I bought one at 12k with customs I would be crazy not to buy one for half the price. I will have a total of 3 machines running. I still want to do immersion cooling but watching you spill bitcool all over the place definitely gives me anxiety lol.

If its still cool, then great, but the dampening foam inside converts the sound to guess what.... heat
The shrouds get that out when connected with ducts/fan

How about a test without the box. Box off with ducts. The ducts contributed more noise reduction than the box it seems.
@@mdkreh You have to have the box to mount the ducts. There's no place to mount ducts on a bare s19. Good thought though. 👍
