Yeah, the sucky part was we could see the ending from a mile away. There's loads of people out there with supposed Btc from "the early days" but it comes down to just a few coins from only a few years ago. There's a huge difference between spending $900 in 2012-ish to buy 15 coins, compared to spending $400 in 2017-ish to buy 0.15 coins. And then another huge difference trading them for $60k versus $20k per coin. One amounts to roughly $1Million, the other to $3,000. Or in this case, difference between $6Million versus $600.

My heart goes out to Lavar. I hate seeing people get dissapointed like this. Hope he wins the lottery 👊😎
I do too but thats why I dont gamble or go for anything that seems too good to be true.
Ya I don’t like to get to”happy” for anything to early nowadays makes feel like a clown
He can just continue investing and perhaps make a million. In number of yrs 😊
What an amazing journey, I love how you are full of enthusiasm and love for what you're doing. Engineering at its peak.
It just kept glitching on me when I tried this video tutorial so firstly I would say thank you for the video and secondly, thank you Dale Valskov meeting you was a blessing in disguise keep up with the good work I'm sure a lot of people will be needing your assistance iin the nearest future after seeing this
Just found this channel last night . After using TH-cam since the beginning, this is some of the best content I have ever seen. Awesome job
I'm so bummed for Lavar. 😣 Great work though Joe! Thanks for sharing!
I think the correct amount of bitcoins was there, and he is a millionaire now. If this is my phone I will do the same deal. You can show my face we can record it but let's show at the final just 1k USD in bitcoins to keep my wealth confidential.
This video was amazing. The suspense, the quality, the ending. Everything
3:36 imagine Sofia from housekeeping walks in and sees everything being set up. 😆
I love this so much (prior to the $100 news)
lmao
It's like the TV Series on Discovery where they search for long buried treasures but never find anything
Plot twist: the training phone is actually a decoy phone and Joe now is a millionaire.
You mean. He took the last wallet. Would be a major plot twist.
This was the best hacking thriller Netflix has ever produced. 10/10
This was extremely exciting to watch. I was feeling with you guys. Lavar would have definitely deserved it for his family.
Absolutely amazing film! The whole process you guys went through is just mind blowing. But honestly, I am also devastated. The 4 minutes I was literally saying "no way" out loud every 5 seconds and hoped for the happy ending. Great work tho, impressive af
I binged watching this whole video , i was a bit emotional too 😂 the suspense is crazy and I would say THIS VIDEO IS PHENOMENAL. LOVE FROM INDIA 🇮🇳

somehow, also on computers, this kind of stuff always seems to happen when your client is right there while you are working on the device. what seems to be straightforward and easy turns into a rabbit hole of twists and turns.
That was such a great watch, amazing hacking work, so great to just see over your shoulder, awesome filming. Poor bloke, that's brutal!
Adrian Ruthnik's move to cleanse the hacker-for-hire industry of scammers is much needed and appreciated. Their efforts to restore integrity to the field are evident in their work.
dudes talkin bout the phone like they were in a intensive care unit 💀💀💀
shoutout to cameraman and edit
and you joe love what u doi
The way this was done easily rivals some of the best shows I've seen that resemble this. Please turn this into a series or something.
how tf
what shows ?
This video was amazing, awesome skills which inspire soo many people. Unfortunately there was no treasure but like the guys said, amazing journey you took us on.
Please continue to share your amazing work with us, we all want to see more…!!!
Your awesome
I feel for Lavar, but his optimism throughout the process was great! Excellent job getting into that phone. I still have on my micro SD I've transferred for years, some flashable pattern unlock zip. Never used it but kept it all this time.
Congratulations on recovering 100k ...... Yen
thats still 700 dollars lmao
@@alexhu5117 For that much work ? Yeah no thanks I really feel for joe I hope he got paid because I assume the price fro something like this would be in the tens of thousands normally.
@@trevor245 maybe he was promised a % off the money they would find
@@Leotola1 Maybe but than my point still stands as you would normally expect this to cost a ton of money. I assume that it also includes an upfront payment or atleast an amount already set in stone plus an additional % to prevent situations like this.
@@trevor245 There is no reason this would cost tens of thousands lol
36 minutes of day an ordinary cell phone repairman.
Hey *Metaspyclub* what an amazing work this has been and with all the crazy detection that you guys make possible. You guys take hacking to a whole new level and get the job done ASAP!!! I'm wondering what are all your personal qualifications?I don't think that it was ever mentioned before.
I wish Lavar never found out that he had next to zero bitcoin. Lavar could’ve written a book about what it’s like to have lost that kind of money and still persevere in life and maybe made that $6mil in book sales. Now he knows he never had it in the first place. Kind of a bummer.
Ya it seems like he was capping. Couldn’t remember his password but somehow remembers he invested thousands and he clearly didn’t.
That mf ain’t writing ni book😂
I love how everything works out and everyone is going in with good hopes for the out come that’s amazing showing the world how to make a team work and actually make something happen and actually work proud of you all do more great thinks like this it helps
and this is supposed to be safer than a bank how again?
@@bobshagit9503 It's as safe as your ability to hold on to a password, and keep it private
@@SkawarsXE lol
tell that to the billions that have been stolen in the last few years
@@bobshagit9503 It could get stolen from an exchange if they get hacked or something, but not from a personal wallet. As long as you have your recovery key and it's a secret, it will remain on the blockchain forever and will be 100% secure.
@@SkawarsXE LOL ignorance is bliss huh
before the wallet was even released. people had PROVEN they could hack it
The visual of Kingpin setting up his work station carefully, one instrument at a time, and slightly moving them a few centimeters into place is cool af
Definitely a gem this channels got so much upside keep up the great work Joe!
It's amazing what you do Dale Valskov We need a lot of people with your skills and set who have good intentions and spread love
