Skyzone should produce this goggle with a module bay, I bet it would sell best!
Have you tried the Skyzone diversity? I had the first Skyzones and the rx in that was miles better than any module I've used in my HDO's. Whatever magic voodoo they were using was amazing.

You can buy a Skyzone diversity receiver (or ant other receiver box) and then connect it to goggles with AV out cable. Not as clean setup as a module, but possible

The new skyzone03 are oled, but they look really ugly. like really
Felix S it is the same shape and looks with the current Skyzone 03 with more color selection and I prefer them over Fatshark. They just added changes under the hood.
I´m still using Skyzone 01 :) for almost 4 years. I tried all FS goggles even HDO several times. I will only change mine if the Skyzone 03 OLED are a killer !

I'm excited to get mine this week. They have them in stock at Race Day Quads $259 for the Sky02C version. Great review Albert! I'm REALLY happy to have watched so much DVR from these goggles in an unbiased way. I think all the DVR you have posted lately was enough on par with early DVR I didn't notice the difference.

anyone figure out how to use the camera in the o2c? i dunno if it just has a lense of a camera to keep the dust out. but i think alot of o2c are just rebranded and firmware crippled o2x. hard to find any info, guess i will be taking them apart to see, thanks! :)
I really was in the fency for the Skyzones or Attitude V5. The auto record+save option on the V5 for GPS (lost model recovery) was the main reason to go for V5 and tough the DVR is bad it serves it purpose. Only downside is both bottom corners are blurry and I wonder if lenses can solve this? I have perfect vison myself.
Could you give some advice on this?
Still not sure if I like these over my eachine Goggle2 or a fatshark box goggle.

What image settings did you end up with? Found the stock setting a bit dark
I raised brightness to 60 and that works for a lot of cameras for me.
I went from eachine box goggles to Fatshark Attitude V4 AE w/Furious FPV module to Fatshark HDO w/Rapidfire module and I have to say HDO+Rapidfire is my fav.
Hi. I know it's been a long time. But when you upgraded from the Eachine box goggles, could you actually tell a difference with reception. Like did it chamge to say from 0.1 miles to 0.2 miles for example or was that not really so big of a increase in reception/penetration?
I could tell that your DVR recordings were a lot better. I love my Skyzone02, I have the older ones. Haven't failed me yet, knock on wood!

Work well and I leave them on but I use the SKY03O now
Mine seem to be too narrow on the iPad. The pad seems to push it just far enough away to see the whole screen.
Not sure I'm happy yet.
I want a set of these but have a pretty small face, I'm currently using the commander v1's and they work really good using the stock foam. if I change to ANY other foam I get light leaking in the sides, how do they compare size wise to the aomway's??
I get more light leakage on the aomways. Every goggle fits differently for each person so I have no idea how these would compare for your face, sorry.

Another great video, Albert! I would be all over buying a pair of SkyZones if I could change out the receiver module. They get great reviews, even on their reception, but I'd REALLY like to have the option to put a RapidFire module in the goggles. Maybe that will be my quest for today. Seeing if there is a way to mod the goggles. They can't be too hard to take apart. I've actually been keeping an eye on Ebay for the FS Dom v3 hoping I might stumble across some at a decent price and in good shape.
Now people know and only 3 thumbs down ? :) Maybe they wake up later lol. I switched to Sky 02C´s from box goggles, it was a HUGE step up of course. The picture is crystal clear and You don´t feel the weight. I had to modify the faceplate, but it is my face´s fault :) I added the 2nd layer of mesh to the bottom half of the faceplate and now i can see like a "standard faced" guy :))

Goggles are very hard to buy. What works great for me, might be the worst for you. You have to try them on to see if they fit you. Then you have to find out if you can see anything. I bought $800 HDO2's with Rapidfire only to discover, the image is blurry and I can't fly through them. However, $30 Eachine goggles are nice and clear. It all depends...
Great review, wondering about goggle battery voltage in OSD???? Can this be done? Do you have a video? Loving my skyzone 02c. Been recommended a LiPo voltage alarm hooked into balance lead.... thanks
Yes, it's in the menu and also shows up in the OSD but disappears after a few seconds.
Found it in the menu under DC in. Thanks. How about bright/cont/sat settings. I’m hesitant to start messing around and stock seems real good. Did you spend some time adj, if so what numbers did you end up with. Thanks
Thanks for the video Albert. I just switched to the same goggles and I’ve been happy so far. Do you know there is a low battery warning on these goggles? Mine just shut off midflight with zero warning when using a lithium ion battery. Just checking to see if you had similar issues
Change the battery type from AUTO to 2S, 3S, whatever your cell count is and it will show a red icon when the battery is low.

It may be a dumb question is the Battery polarity on skyzone or fatshark the same in regards to fatshark batteries?? just traded for a V-2 Skyzone goggle.
The barrel plug is the same... center pin positive.

I purchased these as an upgrade from SkyGS500 box goggles.
I LOVE them.
I actually use the front camera a lot, and am not sure I could do without it now. I do wish I could swap receiver modules if I so chose to do so.
However, I'm not sure about the range. I feel like it should be better.
I've tried swapping antennas on my quads and changing antennas on the goggles (5db omni and 10 db patch).
I keep the OSD on the goggles and see the RSSI indicators disappear after 100 yards of clear line of site..
I don't have video break up at that point, but don't understand why the RSSI's drop so quickly.
Can anyone else confirm how their RSSI's look?
I have emailed support many times with questions and they typically respond within a day.
They offered to pay for return and testing, but I don't want to do without the goggles for 14-30 days if they're not defective.

I’m still using my Dominator V3’s with a Furious True D. My eyes are getting worse and I’m actually thinking about box goggles again. The TobyRich might be good? Have you been using them at all?
I've only done minor testing with the TobyRich. They seem almost the same as the EV800D but the screen is slightly dimmer.
I just moved to these from a couple of pairs of box goggles, and I can actually see much clearer on these.
I have -8.5 contacts...really near sighted, and I could not focus well on the box screen at the set distance.
I added my own custom Fresnel..which helped, but the 02X's are much better for me.
Your mileage may vary.
Mine just arrived today! New to FPV so i'm used to the Emax Tinyhawk RTF goggles which suck, these are nice :D
Wish the 030s were 4:3 to 16:9 switchable like these. That feature doesn't seem to be available on the 03s for some reason..
Wish they would upgrade the DVR to higher quality recording. I love my SK02V+ goggles.
I'm pretty excited about the Sky03 OLED. 35 degree FOV and slightly higher resolution displays than the HDO.

FXT Viper v2 - check out the reviews and the price :) I couldn't afford skyzones etc., but those vipers are excellent for a higher end budget goggle. really, they're that good. Check them out

How much range, do yout get on this google and with those antennas. And on how much Mw are you flying (i fly on 200)
On 200mW with those antennas I can usually get 1000m range easy in clear LOS areas. In areas with a lot of metal and concrete the range is reduced to 200m or less.

In my personal opinion Eachine OEM Rx Module "With my double Biquad antenna give me much more video range!! it could be just me but for me it works really well.. and since I have to make my own lenses.. this particular goggles works much better for me..
What are IPD range?
If I could ever try on a pair of that style goggle, I would by the Skyzone. I've measured my own IPD and wear glasses and I'm worried they don't work for me. It's why my first goggles are the FXT Viper.
The OLED version which will be out soon and the IPD will be from 69 mm to the new 69.5 mm.
I'm a big fan of my Fatshark HD3's, very happy with them.
I've tried those but the wide FOV makes the image blurry around the edges. Only the center is clear and in focus for me. Must be my old eyes.

No, the real life goggle view is better.

Resolution is about 480p. It's analog video, so not super high resolution.

There is indeed problem with skyzone 02c/x DVR. As far as I can see, there is no way in firmwares menu to select dvr recording quality. It stuck on poor VGA setting while not provide any way to change it to d1 or even HD recording quality. So If someone have any direct contacts with skyzone - tell them for this firmware issue. You can see it yourself by geting video info from skyzones dvr - it shows 640x480 resolution, so VGA only.
Did you try the Fatshark HDOs? I changed from Fatshark HD1 to HDOs... and would never change to something else so far.
Have not tried the HDO's but the wide FOV on the HD3's was blurry for me so I expect it will be the same with the HDO based on what I've heard from other people.
@@AlbertKimTV HDOs have 37 degrees FOV comparison to HD3 with 42. So sharper image. And better colors with OLED. And with rapid fire Modul with crazy stable picture these HDOs are just awesome.
My DOm V3's have a 32 degree FOV and I get a small amount of blurriness on the edges with those. I think that's why the 30 degree FOV on these Skyzones is perfect for me. For those of you out there with a similar vision issue and have tried wide FOV Fatshark's definitely try the Skyzones with a narrower FOV. You'll probably find the blurriness issue greatly diminished.

Rapidfire is really nice but it is more money. HDOs are just not grainy which is nice but I can switch back to my DOM 3s and it isn’t really a problem. I would go for Rapidfire given the choice again. HDOs are nice, I feel I can see better in certain situations but they aren’t critical.
I cancelled my Skyzone order and ordered the Rapidfire for my old Fatshark Dom3's. I'm glad I did because I don't fly in a open field or very close all the time. When my buddies were flying in areas where i can't see. It was time to buy Rapidfire. I'm flying in a lot of more exciting places with other flyers. I'm sure newer goggles have a better image but I'm saving up for the HDO. But I also agree with Albert. It all depends on the areas you want to fly. Changing times, now HD goggles!! Just go buy something and FLY!!!!
Jet jitters yeah, I am surprised by breakup now. I do fly pretty close, but the minute the screen rolls, I just lift my head and I’m back to great signal generally. Love Rapidfire.

I'm happy with my O2C's. Menu for camera settings isn't a big deal to me.

ps. A thing to beware of, isif the dvr is recording and you turn off the goggles via button or via plug, the footage will be lost.
If you had ever tried the HDOs you wouldn’t be choosing among those three goggles, lol. Still great goggles though.
I probably won't bother to try because goggles with huge FOV like the HDOs all look blurry on the edges for my vision. I'm sure they are great goggles though.

Personally, I always felt (and still do) that the Fatsharks are overpriced. It seems (can’t be sure) that part of their cost is mark up for the brand, and the “fact” it is such a niche industry.
The issue is other can manufacture goggles, make money and are still cheaper than Fatsharks, without much of a difference, some would almost say “without a receiver”, which is another issue about cost. Why are some models so pricey, without the main component included?
Perhaps they are just being “good” capitalists?

No, we don't have to send them back. I keep them for a while for comparisons to new products and after a while I sell them on the Facebook FPV marketplace group.
I would rather deal with fatshark. Support is there. Used that twice now. Hd2 and using rapid fire. Looking to move to HDO soon.
And the attitude v5?
I'm not in the Fatshark reviewer's club so won't get them for a while.

Hoping to get some money saved up for skyzones ... it's been a rough year and the box goggles are still good bu HEAVY and hurting my eyes ..Ended up having to take care of an elderly family member so all good don't mind family first ..Hoping Karma comes my way so I can get them sooner then later.
I ordered these on July 17 with priority delivery to UK and they have not been delivered, 1 month later. I have reason to believe that they haven't even been dispatched. Dissapointed in banggood :(

As I don't seem to be the only one with massively delayed delivery. I think they are having a stock issue or something

why you use two similar antennas? For better receiving need different antennas - omnidirectional and directional
Is the Water transfer holding up ok? I always worried about that. Your DVR quality is awful LOL. I'm kidding.
So far it's holding up but I keep them in a case so it won't get scratched.
Fatsharks sucks in all ways. One thing is that almost all pro pilots fly in it. technologies in all all sharks are can't even be close to SZ's)
Just remember that almost all pro pilots are sponsored by Fatshark so they get them for free.
