If you can publish more of these, in detail , solve a problem kind of videos , 3d printing life would be so much easier. Its because you include the why this or that setting should be changed rather than only providing a dictionary type description of a setting. I have never seen for example such a nice concise description of why arachne should be chosen over classic or vice versa , or the blobbing at the intersection of rectilinear infiil . Its the problem I have with the Prusa definition of their slicer settings : they don't always describe how or why a particular setting might solve or avoid a problem with a print. Nor have I previously seen the recommendation to analyze in microscopic detail the sIiced object before sending it to the printer . It makes perfect sense .I've subscribed . And huge kudos for approaching what are software challenges using a problem solving approach. You've raised the standard of instructional videos.

This is a great video. Even 3D printing now for a while there were these 2-3 Options that I never took care of, so I learned something. Thank you for sharing.

Surprisingly good video, didn't know about bridge flow thing, will try that next time, thanks.

So since this video I’ve been playing with bridge density as well. Lowering your flow and lowering your density do similar things in the end. The density changes how many lines there are packed into the space without changing the flow. So try one that works for you. I’m leaning towards density actually so the flow doesn’t change.

I just found out about your channel and absolutely loved it! I want to start 3D printing but have no idea where to start. Are you planning on making a video on basics or even lecture videos? Or any suggestions for me to where to start? Any answer is appreciated :)

Do you have a printer? My advice would be to look up printers within your price range and see if you can find videos about them. I have a video on the MK4 and I’ll have another video soon about a cool printer. My recommendations are a P1P or a P1S, a MK4, an Elegoo Neptune 4 pro, or an X1 if you have the money. Then honestly just go on Printables and try printing some stuff. Print it and see what happens. If it comes out okay then keep going. If something goes wrong try to figure that out and fix it and then go from there. If you buy a modern printer a lot less can go wrong than you think.

I had did some research on the printers and Neptune 4 caught my eye, it's nice to see that you recommended it. Thanks a lot for giving a time it really cleared some clouds.@@ButterPockets

Thank you for the in-depth settings tour of Bambu Studio. I've just recently started my 3d printing journey, and every little help goes a long way.
I've noticed that I've come to a point, where I would like to play around with some G-Code on my printer (Bambu P1P), because the hotend fan always run at 100%, even when the hotend is cooled down to ambient temps. However, it doesn't seem to react to the single-line G-Codes I've been sending it through the SD Card.
It might very well be because I'm simply not inputting the G-Code correctly, or because I'm sending it incorrect.
Is there any chance that you'd be able to make a "tutorial" of sorts, to get started with custom G-Code? Or do you have any reference to look up where and how to send G-Codes to the Bambu printers?
    Thanks in advance.

Letting you know I saw this and I’ll get back with a good answer later :)

So I was looking into it and it seems like an M106 P2 (might be P3, but I think its P2) command should set the hotend fan. Set that value between 0-255. What code have you been sending to change the fan speed? I wasn't previously aware of a way to send Gcode like you can with Pronterface but it seems like you can do an FTP server to the printer with the LAN access code. How have you been doing it so far?

    • @KraggHC
      @KraggHC 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ButterPocketsAppreciate it a lot.
I have tried sending M106 P1, P2 and P3, with 0-255. It doesn't react. But it doesn't react to anything, even a simple G0/G1 X100 or something like that. No movement.
I have been "sending" it through FTP, put the file into the "cache" folder, and ran it through the printer via the screen on the printer.

@@ButterPockets Just to update - I talked with Bambu Labs support, and they sent me a replacement Toolhead PCB. I replaced it, and the fan begun to function normally, so it was simply a faulty PCB that caused the toolhead fan to never stop spinning.
I still have not found a way to elegantly send G-Codes to the printer, but it is not needed for me now.
It would still be nice to troubleshoot, so I will keep looking.
      Thank you again.

@@KraggHC I appreciate the update! Yeah I really don’t think there is a way to do it with how they’ve locked it all down. But I’m glad you figured out the fan
