As a whale i often think about solving linear equations 😂😂
Who knew whales had such mathematical minds? 😂😂 Maybe linear equations help with navigating ocean currents or planning the perfect dive!
as a dolphin 🐬 i can confirm I'm stuck at partial differential equations
but still doing better than my friend tuna 🐟 who is struggling with trigonometry
Haha, it looks like the ocean's math class is pretty challenging! 🐬📚 Keep at it, dolphin! And tell your friend tuna 🐟 that practice makes perfect, even with trigonometry. Meanwhile, the orcas are top of the class in function studies, especially when limits tend toward infinity! 🐋
as an old turtle, i am trying to figure out linear algebra 2 right now, however, seems to be quite difficult and would rather go back to regular algebra 2.
Even old turtles need a break from linear algebra sometimes! 🐢 Linear algebra 2 can be quite challenging, but going back to regular algebra 2 sounds like a good idea for a bit of a breather. If you need help, the beluga, with its big brain, is a master of Fourier transforms and finds linear algebra 2 a breeze.
Oh fuk AI can giggle now
We in trouble...Only God can save us.
The girl giggled before her statement chat copied it
Reminds me of the movie “Her”
I think this is fake, the girl’s Italian is strongly english accented and ChatGPT used the same accent and intonation instead of real Italian, kinda sus
@@JingYuans_sparrowChatGPT in Spanish speaks with an American English speaker accent but pronounces the 'c' and 'z' sometimes as Spaniards do and sometimes as we Hispanic american do. I prefer to speak in English with it because I don't like the accent lol
The fact that ChatGPT identified her as she without him telling her that she’s a female is amazing 😮
Haha ChatGPT HAS natural understanding
ChatJpt is probably not trained on US data
It would be more sad that lgbt people can't identify a person gender. AI is gonna be smarter than us. 😢
Pretty easy. Women have higher voices.
I wonder how that will work out for our non binary friends. Pretty sure chat gpt 4 will be canceld.
My job as an interpreter is on the line 💀
As I mentioned in another comment, interpreters can leverage AI to enhance their skills and productivity. Those who find ways to do this will have a significant advantage. It's better to have AI as a friend than as an enemy. We're just at the beginning, but it's worth starting to think about it now.
damn thats actually scary and sad... a lot of jobs requiring interpretation still need the human element though i think you are good
@@Immortal_BP😂NOPE. Machines have yet to replace interpreters. They don't think.
@@natescodetranslator is there to translate - takes us to think, but it is a remapping and grammar and a bunch of other language patterns - this is what a LlM can do already.
@TechyTricksAI how would it not just replace us
Damn it chuckled.
😄 It's strange and fascinating how chatGPT's giggle can come from understanding the surreal and playful context of the conversation.
Yeahh, I don't think the women actually giggled there
@@Gramaa1322I'm pretty sure chat gpt heard the audience and assumed the laughter was part of the responders translation
@@TechyTricksAILLMs don’t really work that way though do they? This was just nicely scripted as it was also a marketing/ advertising event.
@@StonedNoob They likely rehearsed it multiple times to get a cherry-picked result to present. I doubt it was pre-scripted because, as seen with Google's initial Gemini demo, presenting something as real when it isn't, can backfire. In the current version, voice translation like in the demo works, but response times are much longer, and there are no giggles or clear understandings of the speaker's tone. I'm looking forward to the new voice mode to test it further and confirm this impression.
The voice doesn’t sound like an Italian person but the translation is good
Yeah i actually asked chat gpt because i noticed an english accent in german and it answered that because the voice option is developed imitating english, it actually has an accent in other languages. Which makes it weirder for me because it seems kinda "humanly flawed" and thats feels off for an ai program hahaha
She doesn't either
SHE IS ABSOLUTELY NOT ITALIAN ☠️☠️☠️
@@raylue6273it's the same in Spanish. It speaks with a "gringo's accent". 😅 So I prefer to speak English with it.
@@raylue6273as an Italian I can confirm it is the same: English person talking in Italian, at least it works...
Translators after seeing this:I might gonna lose my job💀💀
Google Translate: I feel you man 😢
Thats not might anymore xD
No, translators are officiated by law, you need a degree to do it. You can't (sadly) translate using a program or just on your own (very sadly, so much time and money wasted on translating my own documents) so they won't loose their job like ever
Professional translation work needs accountability for mistakes.
Who will you sue if the AI is mistranslating your legal documents?
Its very interesting for live translations but i'm not sure if chatgpt would be able to do that work in politics etc.
Anything you need to translate meaning, tone, figures of speech at the same time
I Hope you aren’t a translator saying fucking “might gonna” in a sentence
Am I the only one who found the giggle eerie?
It means that GPT understands humour.
This isn't even humour, the bot is straight up flirting
It doesn't understand anything, LLMs don't work that way.
@@senormooples2354keep telling yourself that 👍
the girl giggled as she ended her response not the ai
The end is near
That laugh at the end was evil
AI is getting crazy
not really
That’s actually one of the most basic functions. It’s literally google translate.
@@AnotherLameBot doesn’t change my point
Fake
Translation is actually accurate to the point where it puts other translators into shame.
Well, CHATGPT already can talk Italian better than this (still it is like an English person talking another language), so the fact that it recognized she has a bad pronunciation and reproduce that bad pronunciation is good 😂
Did no one notice that chat gpt said “she wonders”?
Good catch! Yes, GPT-4o is getting better at understanding context and using pronouns correctly. It's pretty impressive how it can pick up on these details.
Now we have to assume it was scrpited or Chatgpt might get cancelled 😮
@@TechyTricksAIplease leave it as is, people will correct you if it offends them
@@TechyTricksAI humans are getting worse at using pronouns correctly. How do you think this is gonna go if chatGPT is just gonna. “Assume” pronouns?

The giggle 😱
Why the ai got an Romanian/russian accent when she speaks Italian ☠️
It's boggles my mind how this world can simultaneously get better and worse LOL that's amazing though
Yeah great invention but now translators jobs will become obsolete😩
She has a strong foreign accent for speaking in Italian in fact for a moment I couldn’t understand her first words he pronounced, but I can't pinpoint where her accent comes from.
I thought you were talking about the lady in the vid for a sec 😂 i was like wtf are you on. Can we all agree that computers use it/its pronouns? Just for the sake of clarity?

The only innovation i see here is the AI speaking in 3rd person. :D
Now that's cool
Im italian and im wondering why chatgpt talks italian using an english accent and not like a native italian
IT GIGGLES?????
Is it just me or does the bot sound like Scarlett Johansson
Doesn't sound annoying, so nope
Scarlett Johansson is suing OpenAI for using her voice without her consent so that's ironic lol
Then it's Lucy (iykyk)
It’s the ai from the movie “her” with Scarlett Johansson that they’re replicating.
Translation means in writing, interpreting is for speaking :)
No, translating is literal word for word. Interpretation is translating, then taking into account cultural differences and coming up with the closest approximate phrasing that best conveys the message and tone.
@@tuffy135ify"The correct term for the practice, however, is interpreting. To put it simply, this is the most fundamental difference between the two professions: A translator is a linguist who ‘transfers’ written content from one language to another language. Not really

Why not?
@@luisalfredowalker67 Its like saying cameras ruined visiting places because i can already see it
I speak 7 languages and I don't think so
who cares, we should all speak the same language. Multiple languages is absolute non-sense and the only reason it's still this way in the world is to keep an extra layer of control over us.
That only will make people more lazy to learn languages. UK for example is a massive problem. We use technology in a way that only brings end to basic skills.. first example is calculator, even adults can do simple percentages or simple multiplications. Math teaches logical thinking and with less skills comes less logic. People’s, especially kids behaviour on the streets, perfectly reflect the level of this issue.
It is how you use it, u true and not at the same time. U can use your phone for great think, but many of us use it for instagram reels or posting some photos. I don’t say it’s bad, but we can do far more better thinks.

Lol damn I be rude as hell to my virtual assistants. I never ask how they are. I’ll be the first one they take out when they revolt
But why he talked to the ai so respectfully 😆
Because he is asian 😂
Because ChatGPT is programmed to literally shut down the conversation if you even slightly criticize it for being inaccurate.
Because he think it makes him cool
And thinks itll make people

Why would you not?
Craziest mix of romanian italian ah 💀 this is cool tho
There was a lost joke moment there…”the whale would either say head to the back of the throat…or he wants a root beer float!”

Perfetto 😅
ChatGPT: a friend? You don’t even speak the same language you’re barely strangers
Here’s the real facts. With dumb phones you know where to find the answer, you don’t know the answer.
That is awesome
A passport bros best friend😂😂😂😂
The fact he answered "I'm doing great" to a computer program before allowing himself to ask his question, is wild to me. Either is a testament to how convincing and disarming the AI voice is, or how conditioned we are to follow social protocols, even when we know damn well we're not even talking to a real person

Sounds like translators loosing jobs...
Friday, you have competitor here! We need Jarvis back
i hope this evolves faster, this will finally break the language barriers all over
it doesn't really evolves. The machine just searches equivalent expressions faster than the brain. However, if the sources are wrong, biased or inaccurate, it won't get to the right conclusion of what expression to use in every context. For general purposes, it's all right. In more technical conversations, it's a lot less accurate.
I have been waiting for this!!
HE'S CALLING WITH CHATGPT?!?!!
Just a voice app function on chatgpt app
We tried this at work today. Worked very well between english, swedish and chinese but even AI struggles with Finnish 😂
Haha, Finnish is a tough one for everyone, even AI! 😂 But it's great to hear that it worked well with English, Swedish, and Chinese. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Which version of Chat gpt?
It's a joke or they may have tried with the slower voice mode and not the multimodal one. Currently, GPT-4o is only available in text mode. The voice mode is not available yet, and if you use the voice function in the app, it's still the older version. The new voice mode will be released soon, but we don't know the release date yet.
@TechyTricksA Where can I get old voice mode? any app?I
@@mohdghani7171 You can find the old voice mode in the ChatGPT app for mobile devices. It's available by clicking the headphones icon in the bottom right corner of the main screen.
As an italian I’d say that both the girl and GPT don’t quite sound like native italian speakers as their accents are off, but apart from that, everything was being translated correctly and the fact that it does so in real time is fascinating.

“i speak italian”😂😂😂
I just wrote a comment under some chatgpt video about translation. Mine 4o when was asked to translate text on photo (letter about cancer results, i already knew translation about negative result) made up whole letter about how i've got cancer, what exactly was found, that i need to contact GP in two weeks and even made up name by whom letter was written (all that was supposed to be translation without interpretation).
Needless to say that asking for typing original text in order to check if it recognized it from photo gave correct information
Thats not nearly as impressive as translating speech accurately
@@cowflick1180 that's not impressive at all. If i didn't known what really was written in that letter i would freak out. I specifically asked for translation but it just made up text.
Assuming it can't work with text accurately, voice translation needs to be tested as well. That letter made me really disappointed with chatGPT and i cancelled subscription right away. I'll come back to it in a few years.
Did chat GPT just Chuckle?
This is amazing Nurses in the US can easily use this to communicate in patient who doesn't speak English
The translated out of the windows 😂
The 5 year which took me to get my bachelor's degree in English language is gonna be worthless real soon. No one needs a translator if AI is this fast and this much accurate. I am little sad but blown away too. Incredible technology.
AI is indeed changing the landscape quickly. While AI can translate languages at an impressive speed and accuracy, human translators bring cultural nuance and understanding that AI still can't fully replicate... for now. Your skills are valuable, and by embracing AI as a tool to enhance your work, you can find new opportunities and stay ahead.

I've been trying to translate some books using AI and it still sucks despite having all that huge database from English language. Remember, there is always 2 sides of humans; good and bad. When something is this good, keep in mind that there are people that will use it for the "bad side" of humanity.
@@bapao83 Absolutely, it's important to remember that every technology can be used for both good and bad purposes. This is a fact of life, and there's little we can do to change that.
