Girl, I am in tears just to get up to use the lavatory. Kind of freaking out because I can’t just lie around all day. I have so much to do. Ibuprofen is barely taking the edge off. I’m buying a brace and hopefully it’ll help me out of bed. Idk, maybe I should just go straight to the doctor. It hurts worse than childbirth.
@@salazarslytha Be encouraged! I posted my comment 5 months ago and I can honestly say that I am tremendously better. Hang in there! It is going to get better. God bless you!!!
@@angieaunaturale8967 I had very severe sciatica. Research says that 90 percent of sciatica is caused by herniated disc. This means the gel in disc has degenerated. I knew how to cure herniated discs. I had severe sciatica which crippled me for over 6 weeks in the S1-L5 area. I needed crutches but just to get around. First week, most of the pain went away. Just took 10 days for pain to go away with Doctor's Best Hyaluraonic Acid/chondroitin/collagen (Biocell). It regenerate the gel in spinal column also. It has to be Biocell HA formulation. To completely heal, it takes 6 weeks. Rehabbing the muscles took the longest. it will regenerate gums (along with cure most sciatica, back problems etc). 2 capsules a day. Takes 2-3 months for gums. It's very inexpensive.
Great video content! Sorry for the intrusion, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you considered - Qonubrey Wenria Domination (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a smashing exclusive guide for pushing sciatica out of your life for good without the hard work. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my friend Sam at very last got excellent results with it.
Many thanks, I've been looking for "is physio good for sciatica?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Venayden Wanillian Method - (just google it ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my buddy got excellent results with it.
I had severe sciatica extending to ankle ...u guys healed it in 35 days .. I watched each and every video took all the precautions and did all the exercises and even modified the excercies sightly to the position which relieved maximum pain and it's healed now I am very fit do workout 7 days a week very active now
Thank you for this. I'm only about 15 days into doing the exercises & it's awesome to hear there's more hope than what I've achieved so far. Not being able to walk was horrible. Strengthening the core is what it's all about & I'm glad I was finally 'educated' :D
Appreciate Video clip! Forgive me for the intrusion, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you ever tried - Dinanlinson Perfect Shape Approach (google it)? It is an awesome one of a kind guide for getting rid of your sciatica minus the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my BF after a lifetime of fighting got excellent results with it.
@@lilwildspark hi hw r u doing now? Core exercises must b avoided when u r having sciatic pain .. as u shud avoid forward bending.. when ever the sciatic pain is gone then only u should do all the core exercises
I healed sciatica in 2 weeks without doctors help, just with your videos. Thanks so much! I did exercises 4-5 times per day, And i felt progression already in first day. 👍
It's been around 11 months sense I had quite an episode with probably a bulging disc. It started around 12-2016, & was the worst around 5-2017 (I couldn't sit for a while & fell down once because of pain trying to get up from the floor). I'm feeling much better. Thanks Bob & Brad. I also did around 4 sessions with local Mckenzie therapists. I appreciate your advanced exercises as a couple months back, I just kind of felt stuck in the same place & it wasn't pain free yet. Lately I just do the shift the hip slightly away from the worse problem side, in the morning & at night. I'm really doing quite well. Usually don't have pain. Through the course of the year I did get another office chair, & the same one for home which allows for better back support & posture. I also got the half Mckenzie lumbar supports for office & home. I sit on solid chairs if at a restaurant etc., avoiding the gushy stuff, & do pretty much whatever I think will continue to help. Things like sleeping with the pillow between the legs. Everything adds up. JUST WANT TO SAY TO THOSE DISCOURAGED, HANG IN THERE, AFTER A LONG BATTLE I'M ACTUALLY FAIRLY PAIN FREE FOR THE MOST PART. I would say keep up all the good habits, & make the necessary changes, stay at it, & mix it up a bit if you get stagnant. I can testify to vast improvement, in my case slowly but surely, but feeling much better.
Hello; I rarely do the exercises any more, but I have a special chair at work & in my home office that allows me to sit up straight, with a half lumbar pillow for each one. It's extremely import to have the good posture, otherwise, it would be easy to slip back into the issue. I've had it where improper posture or whatever would bring back a bit of pain, & have to do limited exercise, until it's restored, but not much of that is going on at this point.@@focus1007
I used to suffer from sciatica. About two years ago, it went away and I ended up with neuropathy in my feet. I stumbled onto your Utubes the other day. I tried some of your exercises for sciatica and the numbness in my feet lessened somewhat. I am continuing to do those exercises and others you’ve shared in the hopes that I’ll see further improvements. You guys are a blessing.
Thank you. I’m in a whole lot of pain right now. I just got back from the ER and they gave me muscle relaxers for now. The Doc said give it a few more days then start in with the exercises and stretches. It’s been about 3 weeks so far. I really hope I can be done with this in another 3. I want to be able to enjoy my kids before summer is over.
I'm a 26-year-old student and I have to say your videos have help me with confidence on healing my sciatica. Thank you so much! Shout out from Chicago!!
Ye Jin Euh I never had an MRI but I assume so because the pain radiates down both my legs into my toes. I've been in physical therapy and yoga but I'm realizing the more i rest the better i feel. So I stopped doing those and now i hang from a door to decompress my lumbar spine and even twisting my back gently seems to help. But everyones case is different so my methods may not work for you
I've suffered from lower back pain from scoliosis for years. Recently I have had terrible lower back pain with siatica. Unable to sit and get back up without pain. I stumbled upon your videos and am so glad I did. Ive been doing your stretches and am very hopeful in my healing process. Thank you!
Thanks for this info. I've been having sciatica for almost two years. I tried a bunch of different exercises but nothing seemed to help. When you guys started talking about the McKensie (sp) stretching, I started doing that too, but even that didn't help. I noticed in your demonstration you were able to push your shoulders up with your hands, but I'm not that flexible, so all I could do was rest on my elbows...but that didn't work. Then I got the idea to rest my elbows on a pillow and then a second pillow on top of the first which raised my shoulders much more. Instantly, my leg, groin and buttock pain went away and has not returned. I now do this maneuver several times a day. Wow. You two are amazing!
It has been 10 month for me and thanks to your videos, I stopped doing all the stupid spine flexion stretching in the past month and started your recommended stretches. Finally I am getting better, slowly but surely. Anti-inflammatory keto diet for the last 4 weeks and 20lb weight loss has likely contributed as well.
@@oneyaker so you dont have sciatica anymore? It stopped slowly? And which exercises you followed? Also which disc was the problem in your case? I am in severe pain, no exercise is working on me.
Ten years with sciatica still hurts had back surgery eight years ago failed so I can only assume this is a life sentence of pain I do sub to you I try everything logical help me !!!
That is my story Michael...herniated disks, spinal stenosis and sciatica...tried everything from Special yoga for disabled, pilates, epidurals, 1,000 different stretches, cold compresses....no pain killers have helped...I have given up- only thing left to try is chiropractor- some have told me it is good for sciatica- others say -a waste. It is the worst- no quality of life. Had to rant.
My Ct scan shows bulging disc major arthritis in lower back and sciatic nerve squeezed. I have never had back pain, so this surprised me. The reason I went to the Dr. was a major pain in my left buttocks. I really never put two and two together. I have no leg pain, no numbness but the pain in what I thought was my hip was sciatica . I am a pastry chef so I am on my feet 10-12 hrs a day and lift 30-50lbs at a time.. Ive been doing this for 30 years. One day I woke up in intense pain. I can't walk, stand, or sleep. Found your site and now am doing your exercises. Keep your fingers crossed, I don't want to take the handful of meds that I was given. I'm on blood thinners so anti inflammatories are out. Will try changing diet ...I found you two to be the most honest and easy to understand as to what could be going on. Thank you for all your time and effort.
You guys are the REAL healers! In fact I once had terrible back pain and my doctor thought it might have been stenosis and aging related. However, when I visited my physical therapist, he thought it was likely i had a kidney stone. A couple of months later … I was in the ER with 3 8mm stones. Needless to say … if you have skeletal problems get a script for PT from your doctor.
you guys hammered it! a word I like to say for those (including myself) who have/ had or are involved in activities that increase the chances, is ´self-education´. Accepting a new way of doing your daily activities including the very basic standing up from the bed to a pick up of a paper off the ground. If ´we ´ accept a new way, like a proper new education, we minimize that "chances" and current pain. I spent 4 weeks in bed, couldn't walk, sleep and get almost to nowhere. It took me 2 years to feel no pain. Till I hurt it again, bringing me mentally down as well. Just when I accepted that I need to re-educate myself moves (starting with my own mindset) I could stop re-redoing the same mistakes over and over. And you guys rock! You guys truly give free education.
I am also suffering from last 3 to 4 weeks in pain . I think it is breathtaking pain. We all should pray to God that every sufferer should be healed from this 🌸🌸🤲🤲
I request to all sufferers to be patience and remember God In your prayers. Please don't bed rest it will worsen the pain just lay down when you feel exhausted. Don't bend forward . Do basic exercises recommended by doctors. It really helps slowly but effectively. May God give all the strength to you🌸🌸🌸
I just did the exercises you recommended yesterday and FANTASTIC result. I can't find the video again, but ball in the butt stretch. Woah, it hurt, but amazing. My back feels amazing. Thank you, fellas.
PT and different stretches techniques may help folks who do not have a chronic Sciatica or Spinal Degeneration. No amount of Physical Therapy or Rehab will work if there’s no annulus wall and nucleus left. After going through brutal Sciatica nerve pain due to L4&L5 disk bulge and herniation trying every possible PHysical Therapy, stretches including McKenzie techniques, conclusion nothing worked. I was so devastated that I finally decided to go for surgery but as a last resort I approached a renowned Chiropractor and finally after months of living in pain I am finally on the road to recovery. Remember for acute Sciatica Physical Therapy is recommended but for chronic conditions you’re better of finding the right Chiropractor or look for a laser spine surgery in your area.
Why is it a bad sign if the pain is located only in the thigh and not in the back. I had severe back pain for a couple weeks woke up one morning and my back didn't hurt anymore but my left hip and thigh were in excruciating pain.
Bob and Brad are very educated about Sciatica problems, I've suffered with serious pain in my Back and leg for 8 weeks,I started doing exercises that Bob n Brad recommended, going on 9 weeks and I'm 90percent better, the cause was from ddd,and a disc boldge .I can walk again thank you heavenly father.🙏🙏
You’ve mentioned in this and other videos that it’s BAD if your back feels OK but numbness and tingling remains in the calf and foot. Can you explain how someone in that situation can heal?
I am going on 4 months of concentrated pain in butt to foot that doesn't go away at all, no more back pain just total right leg pain 24/7. I feel so helpless, the only thing that gives me slight relief is laying on my stomach on the floor with 2 pillows on my pelvis. Pain meds don't help and doctors have been so slow with figuring out what I have. We now know it's 2 herniated disc with some bone growth. I've been waiting about a month for the specialist to call to set up an appointment. Idk what to do except watch your videos (since July of last year when it was just back pain) and attempt to do some of these exercises . I've gone days where I can't even stand let alone walk due to the pain.
I’ve had sciatica a couple of times. I am currently without pain, and to ward off I do stretching exercises I’m bed every morning. Laying on my back, I pull my right knee to the left side of my chest, hold it for about 15 seconds. Then do the other knee in the same manner. Then pull both knees to my chest for 15 seconds. I had also gone to the chiropractor when I was in pain, and that treatment helped too.
I'm 20 and a dancer and my sciatica has definitely slowed down my training process and your videos have definitely help so much! And also helped me with my way on myself being a physical therapist, again thank you so much for your videos.
@@my_universe1290 i don’t have pain anymore, was recently pregnant and was concerned for my sciatica to flare up but nope! Their video really helped me when I was dancing, this was 6 years ago so time also helped :)
I found that my sciatica was much worse when I had to stand for long periods. I used to work in labs. Too much sitting or standing was no good. Businesses have this stand all the time stuff and my pain was so bad I thought I had heel spurs, it didn't show up in x-rays. I have good posture, but was always active and took a few falls from various sports. Yeah studying and sitting at a microscope for hours. It's something I have to watch out for constantly. Oddly, when I was doing Japanese Karate, I had no back issues. I like your videos and already have used support for driving. Totally agree about sitting in traffic. I do think that a combination of a decent chair and standing helped me stay ahead of it though. Love the exercises and have them in a folder for reference. Thanks very much!
Excellent video content! Forgive me for chiming in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you heard about - Franaar Breathtaking Motion Formula (do a search on google)? It is an awesome exclusive guide for Curing Sciatica in Just 8 Mins minus the hard work. Ive heard some super things about it and my m8 after a lifetime of fighting got excellent results with it.
I had sciatic pain for years. This year it got so bad that it traveled all the way into my foot & cause plantar fasciitis. I've been stretching about an hour and a half a day and it's finally starting to go away.
I needed a walker the first week to get up in the morning ..second week i got the EPI shot to my spine 70% less pain I can drive and function now I am on week 3
I've watched a few of your videos. I learned that I have two slipped discs in lower lumbar region this past August. I've been seeing a chiropractor since and he helped loads. I was a very active person since teenage years and exercise was truly a part of my life so this has been a difficult transition for me. Running was always a go-to for me- miles at a clip or down to 2 miles at a minimum. Average 12 miles a week. Roller-blades, skiing, dancing at home, boot camp videos on line last few years, etc. You get the idea. So here I am now quarantine so I haven't seen my chiropractor for a couple of months now and when I do get in trouble, I'm sitting with ice. Honestly, it hasn't gotten as bad as what sent me to the chiropractor which had e up for 2 hours one evening trying to eliminate the pain in my back! Awful and excruciating. I have had some pain and a few times in the last weeks but was able to get it under control. I've been doing yoga on line almost every day and I've been walking 2 to 3 miles a day four days a week. I appreciate what you guys are doing and you're a little corny at times (ha ha I like it!!) but I think you guys are very informational and I'm glad for your helpful advice! The bending down to pick up things from the floor is something I need to really work on because I don't. Many would be happy to follow us with a straight edge -haha Thank you and be safe! Dawn-NY
I have had terrible lower back, but moved to buttock and pain down the leg, particularly in the calf and some tingling in the bottom of my foot if i sit for long periods. It hurts when i cough or sneeze the muscle below the back. I've had this problem over 4 months now - i have been through prescription painkillers to help me sleep and with the pain, i've tried physiotherapy - he works into the lower back/buttock area. Whereas this provides some relief i still cannot do any sports or anything that involves bending or pressure on the area. I still have not been properly diagnosed as it is impossible to get to the hospital for tests without a doctor referral Your videos have been helping me, but i have been doing all the stretches and pain techniques for 4-5 months now and still have the injury. One of the worst things about sciatica is the mental effect it has on people that are used to doing alot of sports or being active - it really gets you down. What do you recommend i can do further to get rid of this horrible injury?
I have a very flat back with herniated disk between L2 and L3, and annulus bulging on L2 and back pain, high butt pain and leg pain, sometimes foot pain which is not sciatica going on since 14 months. Osteopathy, massages for all my butt contracted muscles, laser.Unable to sit for more than 15 mns. Neurosurgeons not willing to do surgery. McKenzie exercises give me more leg pain. I am 69, 5’2 and 109 lbs with a tiny frame. Lost all my muscles and fat since that pain started. I am in France on French Riviera, cortisone injections did not work. Can you help ? I speak and read english. Thank you.
It’s taken three months out of work to finally get the piriformis pain to centralize into the hip . For the last two days the pain is easing up . Sadly I am afraid to return to work since I feel the type of work I have to do just keeps aggravating this condition.
My experience with recovery usually involves a period of bed rest that involves lots of sleep and deep, trance-like relaxation, and, of course, time for my body to heal.
I hurt my back last year and had sciatic pain down to my knees. It took me about 3 months to get better. Then I tweaked it again a couple of months ago and had pain only down to my hips. It took about 3 weeks to get better. I suspect the second time was quicker because I didn't injure it as badly. Also I had more knowledge on stretches to help with the pain.
My sciatic pain is starting to centralise after 12 weeks of misery, so the healing has begun! I've enjoyed your videos so much. As other viewers have said, it's like you're talking to us personally. Another helpful video, thanks Bob and Brad (and Lonnie!) You are health education at its very best. 😀
Trish Groves I’d like to get an update since it’s been 2 years for you...I’m goin through the same pain for almost 2 weeks now...started doing the exercises this week...hope it gets better soon...it’s really an uncomfortable feeling.
Fathia ben ali those first 2-3 weeks were like hell...I started doing the exercises and that helped a lot...I haven’t been feeling any pain for months...I can work and do everything that I couldn’t do when I was in pain...Even driving used to bother me....thankfully it’s all gone...hope you feel better...I know it’s a terrible feeling.
I believe that core strengthning can help immensely and not crunches but exercises like breathing, bracing and then lifting to stiffen that core to support the spine.
You mentioned that doing the dishes and brushing your teeth can cause discomfort. This is me-also putting my makeup on. How do you stop this? Do you try to stand as straight as possible?
I was injury at work my l3 and s3 was affected then sciatica nerve. Now iv left weakness on left side be have problems with pain during night when I sit up and stand my back get lock up
You guys are so adorably geeky. Thank you for all the information, about this and other topics. You have a way of stuffing lots of great info, along with little bits of humor.
Pain from my 1st SEp lasted 2 weeks. I journaled the Ep every day. A year later, 2nd SEp. Same horrible pain but new lingering pain in right buttock and down my leg. It took four weeks to heal. Journaled this Ep too. Difference: lingering light pain in my right thigh. I hate it.
I have pain going down my left leg when I start walking after few steps into another room. Going up or down the stairs. Sitting for some time . Usually after lying down for some time the pain goes away it will travel up from my leg into back and then go away.No pain in the back when I am walking or sitting just leg. I have the pain everyday and in between I have no pain anywhere. I had and Xray it showed DDD. Recently when I lay down I have noticed some muscle twitching. Does anyone know what this means or what I should do? I can centralize doing the MCKensie method but every time I get up and get moving the pain is not on my back but just leg.
How do you bend down to pick something up when you have bad knees? My knees won't let me go down very far. I tore up my knees doing gymnastics when I was 14.
I've started the Exercises with you guys & it immediately helped. I had the problem of not be able to sit for long without having to get up a few months back. I also went for 4 sessions with local Mckenzie therapist. I do the basic Mckenzie exercises, with the hip shifted away from the problem side slightly, & I generally can sit all day. At this point around eight at night I just get weary, & need to lie down & the wife massages the area. That said my frustration is I often go to bed earlier & sleep longer. The pain is more managed than cured or completely going away. In fact I seem to get stuck where it stays about the same. That's why I went to the hip shift to hopefully get some change. One reason I went to the therapist, is I believe I ended up with the sciatica on the left, & meralgia on the right. I would get the great heat sensation on the front of the thigh on the right etc. That seems better though there's a little numbness in my second smallest toe, & heal of the foot & thigh. It's not a painful thing & seems to very gradually get better with time. For the left side I just seem to be stuck a bit. The pain is brought up to the butt, & into the back a bit, & if I'm slack in exercise, it gets worse, so the exercises manages the pain but doesn't seem to quite more fully centralize it in the back. Am I not doing them often enough? Do some just have to live with the pain ? I think I'll take another look at your guy's more advanced exercises. Thanks very much!!
I want to share my experience...i have fully recovered from.this pain...i have pain on my both legs...fully recovered in 6-7 weeks .... I go to pisiotherapy , chiropractor 2 times a week...i consistently do all the routine exercises they gave me every day...i stop eat oily food , spicy food , meats , sour food , salty food , sweets food...also i took supplement everyday fish oil Omega 3 , B1 ,B2 , B6 , B12 , magnesium
Thank you docs, your videos had helped so much. I was prescribed diclofenac for life I started stretching and no longer need the medicine, sometimes I don't stretch 3 or 4 days and it starts coming back.
I'm marvin Watkins my saica of the nerve started last week Thursday and I still can't stand up on my right leg it's it's hard for me to walk and stand up

I have extreme burning and tingling and pain from the knee down as soon as I get up and walk. It’s on and off, but getting worse. I’m doing the exercises. Seems nothing is helping. The pain was never in the back. Only started in butt at the sciatic nerve. Now just in leg. HELP!
This is the video I needed to see for today! I am currently suffering from this! Thank you for clarifying things and the information! I hope my pain goes away soon! Keep up the great videos! Greetings from California! 🙂
hope you get better soon. Like they have already showed us in some of the videos, very important is you to avoid moves that will aggravated your situation and putting all of it in resume, moves that are flexing your spine (aka bending forward, i.e chest towards your legs/feet, sit ups, curls) seem to be the nr1 enemy of any hurt back/ herniated or bulged disc.
There is no quick fix for sciatica had it ten years finally realized that when i put myself in traction pain subsided so I kept at it Day and night six weeks later over it I think it gave space for collapsed disc to heal
I went to a chiropractor in Rotterdam Ommoord the Netherlands he gave me a hernia, I good not walk for 5 months. Now I have to go to court because the chiropractor says he is not responsible for given me a hernia. Thank you for your video's!
I have degenerative disc disease...and chronic sciatica. I have never found it to “ heal!” I get cortisone injections 3 to 4 times a year. Not I have to get another MRI and see a surgeon. Can you please define that not all sciatica heals itself! I am in my 60s - is that sciatica different than a younger person’s sciatica? I DO drive in the car 2 hours daily, and sit a lot the rest of the time! Is there hope for me without resorting to surgery? I also walk, and sometimes do the exercises. A big fan of you guys!
Awareness is key. Correct expectations are important. I had a Coccyx injury (a fall) in 2013. Every few years since I've come up with Glut Muscle weakness that can lead to Sciatica. Physical therapy exercises to strengthen muscles helped (also exacerbated BPPV that needed treatment). What I notice now some discomfort as I rise in the morning, pretty pain free throughout the day but by evening increasing discomfort. I've just started to add Advil to reduce muscle pain, better rest, a better night's sleep. Thank you for you the information, suggestions and recommendations. For me, there has been no quick long-term fix. A little distance from the pain can create the illusion a back health routine is no longer needed; and soon one is reminded...
Okay so for those of us where the pain in the back is gone but there's still a lot of pain in the foot, what do we do? You said that's bad. Now I'm more afraid.
Hi bob and brad i have sciatica from a scist in my lower back which has been removed but still have some pain in buttock and down leg but not as much as before.it has been one week since surgery.is there anyone out there had same thing as me and how long till pain went away.please any replys greatful🙏🙏🙏🙏👎
Can you talk more about what to do if the pain in your back has gone away but you still have leg and foot pain? Also, should I be worried if my heel feels like it’s asleep all the time?
The more I worked on my posture and with some of the Bob and Brad videos about herniated disc, arthritis, spondylolisthesis of the spine, the piriformis problem and did those exercises which did not aggravate the pain, the less pain I had down the right leg into the foot. I still have the numbness in the outside areas of the right foot, but the pain did move out of the leg and returning to the back, which was very merciful, because it meant that my spinal nerves were able to be worked on using the good-good, cautious exercise techniques. I do stretches and tightening up the core muscles to hold the lower spine (L3-S1) together better. Now, I’m doing the plantar fasciitis massage of the arch, front, and back parts of the foot’s underside (sole). It’s a very”””very painful foot with numb-feeling, tingling foot. Good news: within days of beginning the foot & bending u massage by “splaying” (see plantar fasciitis video) and by rubbing & rolling each toe, etc., the numbness has been reducing. It surprised me that this would work! I share it only to let you know that someone else has had a similar experience to yours, and that you can get better. I am guessing that the back goes into such spasm that it puts pressure on the nerves, referring the pain down unto my leg. I have little areas of pain, now, and watch the videos to remember what causes it, say, in the tops-front of the thighs, and the pain has been so much less that I don’t need crutches or the cane to walk. I keep the chin tucked slightly and the crown of.my head up towards the sky, and it helps a great deal. Leg pain that they’re discussing above is “referred pain” from the back. When the back is better, my legs have very little pain, even despite the knees having pain, too. I hope that you have a great doctor where you are. God bless you! Praying for healing healing for you, Chandler P.!
This is most likely pain that has been referred down into your leg and foot, coming from the back in the first place. In my situation, I also had aching/cramping on the fronts of the thighs, which I didn’t know was from the back. If you can sit better, hold your core stable, and not bang your body around-but instead, treat it like something more fragile that needs strong muscles to hold all of it together-your leg and foot might stop hurting,so badly. Of course, seeing a doctor is always important. I’ve had “emergency surgery” recommended, but am not ready (with my home cleared out) to have surgery, yet. I also wanted learn about how to move correctly and do exercises BEFORE having the surgery. Now, I’m in so much less pain thanks to the posture and other Bob and Brad exercises that I don’t worry about moving the wrong way & having more of the facets fracture or about more disc compression. One disc is completely “unroofed,” which doesn’t sound like a very good thing. They’re recommending spinal fusion, disc replacement, and debris removal. However, my pain is way down, and I need to delay for as long as possible. Of course I’m not lifting or doing things the same way that I used to do them. The pain has returned to being mostly in my back, and that’s better than needing crutches. Because I’m able to reach the bottom of my partially-numb, painful foot, I can do the plantar fasciitis massages (The arch with splaying, rubbing the toes, and giving your heel a good rub right in front of it) to stir up circulation. I am feeling improvement in numbness and tingling on the outside of the rt foot after only a few days of massaging it. Hopefully, you’ve gotten some good help. Praying for you and these kinds of difficulties. I ask that the Lord would please heal you. God bless you, Chandler! Please take good care. 💜(3NOV2022)
Somehow, my un-edited reply is here, too. Sorry! I can’t seem to delete either of them. Ohhh, well! Did the best I could to share what has worked for me. Good night!😊💜
Can you please explain why is it a terrible sign to have sciatica leg pain without lower back pain ? it is my case for the last 9 months , usually it get worse when sitting. Had MRI confirming L5 S1 herniated disc ,but no back pain at all.
As You mentioned about the meditating posture, I wish you'd shown the right way to sit for meditation, if one is having mild or some issues of Cervical and/ or Sciatica.
Will u please tell my husband that laying on the sofa every evening and weekend until bedtime, AFTER sitting at a desk all day with 2 bunched up pillows behind his shoulders and back is NOT a good idea with sciatica. He barely walks.

so ive had a pinched nerve for about a month now and some days the pain is more intense than others but just recently ive noticed a tingling feeling kinda going down my leg. watching this video you guys said that its a bad sign if the pain isnt in the back anymore but still in the leg. what does that mean exactly and is it curable?
I drive and hour to and from and the sciatica has been getting better been in my but and both legs in different places. It has relapsed 🙄 I stand as much as possible at work but now it hurts to stand very much 😩 Any advise?
I have been in agony my problem is that I have foot drop in one leg and have a support. For walking. I also have arthritis that side so standing is extremely uncomfortable.sleeping in bed hurting my knee and groin.
Oh my goodness at work, I'd drive about 2.5 to 3.5 hrs per day. and then sit reviewing documents all day and not at a regular work station. The doc review is out at the clients locations.
at 4:35 .. Worst sign is when the back is pain free and pain goes to the lower leg..it's a terrible sign. What does this mean "terrible sign' ?? Ok this is what i am experiencing. What does this mean ? What can be done to heal this ??
Hi guys, I have been dealing with a herniated disc now for 9 months. If I've been doing some chores, my lower back can still get sore, whereas if I take it easy for a few days, and don't stress out my back, then I feel pretty good. I've been doing the stretching exercises just about every day, and they really help ! Many exercises that the guys are suggesting in their videos. The BIG issue that I'm still dealing with 9 months into my recovery is the NUMBNESS in my right foot, primarily in my heal. This numbness is not much better 9 months later than when my disc herniation first occurred. I would like to see you guys talk about numbness in the foot that many times will occur from a herniated disc, and how long it might take to recover from it, if it is even possible to fully recover ! Also, what exercises would you recommend to help the numbness go away. Keep up the great videos ! I'm sure you are helping many people who really need some good advice. Thanks, Bill Michigan
Im 55 and have had Sciatic when I was in my thirties . It never goes away once youv'e had it . You can get well from it of course but its still there silently waiting for you to make that one wrong turn or lift and its back. I was out for 3 months from work back then until I got better . It was so bad that it hurt just to press the gas pedal in my car. I had to roll out of bed and had to tie my shoes very slowly because of the pain . I decided to see a chiropractor and that was my turn around to getting well . I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy .
I really love you guys- you just explain everything sooo clear and helpful! Unfortunately I have almost all of mentioned back problems... so I am more than thankful for your videos and advices!!!
Lord have mercy on all of us suffering from sciatica!!!! I will be so glad when this is over!!!! God bless you Bob and Brad

Hello which exercises did u perform ?
@@AiakosTR First be sure why you're experiencing pain. You don't want to do the wrong exercises.
Lucky you
It's been around 11 months sense I had quite an episode with probably a bulging disc.
How are you now?
Are you still doing excercise? And how is the pain now..would be glad if u can reply🙂🙏

I want to be able to enjoy my kids before summer is over.
hey, did you ever get back to being pain free? Let me know please, hope it worked out for you
I've had sciatica for at least 4 years I'm happy to have this source of information
I'm a 26-year-old student and I have to say your videos have help me with confidence on healing my sciatica. Thank you so much! Shout out from Chicago!!
Krystal Lynn yay Chicago! same here...26 and going through disc injury...is your sciatica from disc issue?
Ye Jin Euh I never had an MRI but I assume so because the pain radiates down both my legs into my toes. I've been in physical therapy and yoga but I'm realizing the more i rest the better i feel. So I stopped doing those and now i hang from a door to decompress my lumbar spine and even twisting my back gently seems to help. But everyones case is different so my methods may not work for you
Agree its case by case so its a mission to find what works for u...how long has it been
Ye Jin Euh its been like 5-6 months. Apparently it takes a long time to heal
Well its been a year here n yes it does most of times
Is there any pain that didn't leave?
How are you now?
It has been 10 month for me and thanks to your videos, I stopped doing all the stupid spine flexion stretching in the past month and started your recommended stretches. I have never had back pain, so this surprised me. The reason I went to the Dr. was a major
pain in my left buttocks.
Will try changing diet ...I found you two to be the most honest and easy to understand

My chiropractor helped me tremendously. Physical therapy and a correctly aligned back equals success.
So bones?
Thanks!
Thank you!! Sending positive vibes your way!!

Love you guys! You are helped me through 2 knee replacements and now sciatic pain.
How is Bob? Please let him know we miss him.
Dawn-NY

I've had this problem over 4 months now - i have been through prescription painkillers to help me sleep and with the pain, i've tried physiotherapy - he works into the lower back/buttock area. Whereas this provides some relief i still cannot do any sports or anything that involves bending or pressure on the area.
I still have not been properly diagnosed as it is impossible to get to the hospital for tests without a doctor referral
Your videos have been helping me, but i have been doing all the stretches and pain techniques for 4-5 months now and still have the injury. One of the worst things about sciatica is the mental effect it has on people that are used to doing alot of sports or being active - it really gets you down. My doctor diagnosed me with sciatica, but did not say anything about a bulging disc. What's up with that?
The arch in is what is causing my pain. The arch out is soothing.
It’s taken three months out of work to finally get the piriformis pain to centralize into the hip . For the last two days the pain is easing up . Sadly I am afraid to return to work since I feel the type of work I have to do just keeps aggravating this condition.

I agree with this after my positive 6 week experience at my own PT clinic!
My experience with recovery usually involves a period of bed rest that involves lots of sleep and deep, trance-like relaxation, and, of course, time for my body to heal.
Smart thing to do 👍
I hurt my back last year and had sciatic pain down to my knees. It took me about 3 months to get better. Then I tweaked it again a couple of months ago and had pain only down to my hips. It took about 3 weeks to get better. I suspect the second time was quicker because I didn't injure it as badly. Also I had more knowledge on stretches to help with the pain.

Is there pain in your buttock?
I had to look at the name since I am like did I write this? This is exactly what I am dealing with!
My sciatica nerve has been in pain down my leg for a year now
Same bro same . Hows your pain now? Any relief ?
Usually when it centralizes to one place in the back it's started the healing process.Good luck.

This is just superb, been searching for "sciatic nerve symptoms hip" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Sonictoria Stupefying Smasher - (do a search on google )?
It is a smashing exclusive guide for discovering how to stopping your sciatica without the hard work. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my brother in law got amazing results with it.
#can sciatica last for months?
The joke @ 10:15 made me laugh so hard it hurt my back! Now I’m watching the next video to fix it
😅🙌🏻
I have extreme burning and tingling and pain from the knee down as soon as I get up and walk. It’s on and off, but getting worse. I’m doing the exercises. Seems nothing is helping. The pain was never in the back. Only started in butt at the sciatic nerve. Now just in leg. HELP!
This is the video I needed to see for today! I am currently suffering from this! Thank you for clarifying things and the information! I hope my pain goes away soon! Keep up the great videos! Greetings from California! 🙂
hope you get better soon. Like they have already showed us in some of the videos, very important is you to avoid moves that will aggravated your situation and putting all of it in resume, moves that are flexing your spine (aka bending forward, i.e chest towards your legs/feet, sit ups, curls) seem to be the nr1 enemy of any hurt back/ herniated or bulged disc.
physicaltherapyvideo thank you! Definitely yes it does, 😄 but snow is always fun 😀
Can you have Piriformis Syndrome AND Sciatica simultaneously?! I'm in excruciating pain and have been diagnosed with both by two separate Dr's.
I love you both for showing me things that actually help!!!
Yw!!
So what do you do when it’s stuck in the back now????
Can you talk more about what to do if the pain in your back has gone away but you still have leg and foot pain? Also, should I be worried if my heel feels like it’s asleep all the time?
Help, I have the same pain in my ankle and I can’t stand for long.
@@k.h.489 hey how is it now man, i have the same problem the numbness wont go away and the tingling feeling but zero pain though
Can you please explain why is it a terrible sign to have sciatica leg pain without lower back pain ?
it is my case for the last 9 months , usually it get worse when sitting.
Had MRI confirming L5 S1 herniated disc ,but no back pain at all.
Its 2 yrs later, what did you ever end up doing about the L5 S1 leg pain?
As You mentioned about the meditating posture, I wish you'd shown the right way to sit for meditation, if one is having mild or some issues of Cervical and/ or Sciatica.
Will these exercises help if you have severe sciatica with a herniated disc?
Will u please tell my husband that laying on the sofa every evening and weekend until bedtime, AFTER sitting at a desk all day with 2 bunched up pillows behind his shoulders and back is NOT a good idea with sciatica. He barely walks.
Explain to him.. circulation is essential for curing sciatica, discs in vertibrae have limited blood supply hence it's difficult to heal ... Make him join a fitness center where there r dance classes Zumba boxing or something similar if he finds walking boring
@@050808yuyu what type of doctor diagnosis sciatica? I need to get diagnosis, to make sure I have back injury.
@@newtestamentchristian6932 u can diagnose it at your home ... Search "straight leg test" for sciatica on Google .. remember to take help from someone during the test ,don't do it on your own ..if u take all the necessary precautions and do all the necessary exercises 96% sciatica heals on its own ... If u still wanna visit doctor u can visit any orthopaedic doctor
singh thankyou, friend.

Any advise?
I have been in agony my problem is that I have foot drop in one leg and have a support. For walking. I also have arthritis that side so standing is extremely uncomfortable.sleeping in bed hurting my knee and groin.
Oh my goodness at work, I'd drive about 2.5 to 3.5 hrs per day. and then sit reviewing documents all day and not at a regular work station. The doc review is out at the clients locations.
Is it better to just do all ur stretching and exercise then to go to the chiropractor with herniated disc u guys r great
What is numbness in toes without pain severity due to disc bulge?
at 4:35 .. Worst sign is when the back is pain free and pain goes to the lower leg..it's a terrible sign. What does this mean "terrible sign' ?? Ok this is what i am experiencing. What does this mean ? What can be done to heal this ??
do you feel better now?
Hi guys,
I have been dealing with a herniated disc now for 9 months.
Thanks,
Bill

Did you find any solutions?
Im 55 and have had Sciatic when I was in my thirties . It never goes away once youv'e had it . You can get well from it of course but its still there silently waiting for you to make that one wrong turn or lift and its back. I was out for 3 months from work back then until I got better . It was so bad that it hurt just to press the gas pedal in my car. I had to roll out of bed and had to tie my shoes very slowly because of the pain . I decided to see a chiropractor and that was my turn around to getting well . I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy .
What can be done to improve it? I mean can the numbness goes away from foot?
I really love you guys- you just explain everything sooo clear and helpful! Unfortunately I have almost all of mentioned back problems... so I am more than thankful for your videos and advices!!!
