I had severe sciatica for 8 years. Couldnt sit, lay in my bed, sit in a car, do any lower body exercise or even body movements/exercise, bike, so so much. The pain was extreme and my life was VERY affected by it. Suddenly, after 8 years, the pain went from a constant 8, to a 3!? I could sit, sit in a car, lay in my bed, even exercise a little. It was amazing! This was in spring 2024. Suddenly the pain is back.. I am sitting in my couch at the moment and it is so so painful!! :( I did a bit of running and more intense cardio on the stairmaster and incline treadmill - I think this is what triggered it, especially the running, even though I didnt run more than 6-7 times in total. I am heartbroken its back.. The pain gets so severe my body starts shaking, and I get this extreme restlessness in my body, where I constantly have to move. I am going to try all these things and more to hopefully go back to the state my body was in just 1 month ago :(
Thank you for this video and all you others. You have been a wonderful presence in my family. Helping my mum with her hip fracture, my knee issues and back pain. ❤ Hope 2025 sees you get all your heart desires 🎉
I have never felt pain like that. It has calmed down a lot. Been since around Thanksgiving. Thank you so much for this. Happy New Year to All of You and Your Lived Ones.
I was in severe pain and here in my memory foam bed did the stretches. I actually tried the kneeling exercises and stretched and it felt good. Bob and Brad talked in one older video about posture and so I'm working on that and sucking in my belly. It felt pretty good actually because earlier tonight at Walmart, I was near tears. I'm very sore though. I'm saving this video for later use.
Thank you! I would love to see my videos on this. My injection has not helped so I’m desperate for more PT have some from my PT therapist however they are slow going Appreciate your channel
I've done that one at the end of the bed with one leg up, then the other leg (tip #2). It did away with my SI inflammation and issues. Thank you for sharing that some time ago. I do it several times a week now for prevention.
This video reminds me of when I lived in Tagawanga, right S. Of Catmando off the cost of Jolopy. There was a Chiropractor there, Jack Manatoga who everybody liked. Jack was a hell of guy but one day he was swimming and a shark bit off his left leg. but everything worked out ok because he lived on a hill and walked side ways.
An old football coach in Theodore, AL invented a “Sacrow Wedgy” years ago. Best $40 I’ve ever spent. When I feel the sciatica coming on, I lay on the Sacrow wedgy for 10-15 minutes, works GREAT!!! 👏👏🙂
@ I actually saw it mentioned in a comment section years ago & looked into it, it’s a triangular shaped rubber thing that you lay on and the first couple of times i did it I felt so dumb; like is this thing doing ANYTHING??? After a few days i became a firm believer and now I just use it when I can feel in my right knee that sciatica is coming! It’s very relaxing and I fall asleep on it!
While I watched this video with great interest, I had to chuckle at seeing Brad showing an example, with his head forward and down 😅 I have learned so many helps from your videos. Keep it up, gentlemen! ❤

My sciatica hurts too much to move like any of these. I've been hospitalized. I'm on my 7th week of pain, now. The pain is coming from my L4 and L7, but I feel pain in my left hip and leg. My left foot stays numb.
Every problem I have is on my left side. From the rib cage down to my hip . I retired from an office job . I think my posture is better but even while I’m sitting I. Get pains in my back at waist level. Then my lower back is tight most days of the week.
@@victoriasinger7963 When the slab went up I felt no pain .Next morning this is what happened it .Its like plunge a knife into the upper leg, grab handle and pull it upwards to the hip .Not able to reach down slept in clothes for two weeks. Changed undies very second night . Improved a bit since 3 september but might go for scan/Stupid thing I had ratchet wire rope puller to drag slab.
I'm a young person with cerebral palsy, so I assume I have severe versions of every musculoskeletal condition out there. When sleeping I've found that significantly elevating my knees at a 90 angle like ㄱ_o flattens my back & reduces hip pressure/pain. I don't know if thus is actually medically sound advice though because I'm essentially mimicking sedentary habits 24/7. Hopefully that helps someone out there. Note that elevating knees is considered good practice to improve spinal position in sleep, but like I said, I have to take that to the nth degree because of my extreme tightness

Dr John Sarno disagrees with all this, and I believe every word Sarno says. Look up dr John Sarno’s books. For 40 years, struggling with Fibromyalgia, lower back( L4, L5, pinched nerve) hip, sciatica. I had endless PT, Chiro, message. Non of it lasted. Few months ago, I discovered Sarno’s books and lectures. I totally agree with him, TMS.
Happy new year, Bob, Brad and Mike :)
I will definitely try these. I would love to see more on sciatica.
I see you've updated this. Pray for me they work. I've had a pinched sciatica for 6.5 years

My most comfortable sitting position is to place the bottom edge of a pillow at my waist, not at the bottom of the seat.
What if you have a pinch nerve causing calf atrophy?????
Thanks so much. So painful in my back and left leg so can't wait to try anything but drugs.
I see you're using zero drop shoes. Could you guys make a video about those? TIA
My sciatic nerve hurts in my butt. Any suggestions?

What about sciatica pain from a burst Baker’s Cyst in the knee?
Thx

Is it necessary to see a chiropractor while sciatica flares while waking or do stretched like these while it alleviates?
Can using tools to stretch or massage your muscles really help with sciatica pain?
Mine comes from rheumatoid flares. The only thing that stops it is Prednisone.
What about L4 giving me Radicualopothy?

Unfortunately, if there is a problem, exercises will not help) Do not lift weights and only light work!!!
