Super fun hanging out with ya. Thanks for the review!
Every car needs a Clifford Red Dog warning light.
I had a 2009 4 door Si (bought new) I wish I never got rid of it. Just a great car all around.
I'm finally getting the chance to scoop one up this week for 4k. So ready!
I love my '07 Si Sedan, over 250k miles and it's gotten me cross country multiple times. Always great to see these cars get some love
8th generation honda si are one of the best generations of Hondas built 👍. A lot of potential and will become a classic car very soon worth a lot of money
I hope so, I keep checking the prices and for a really really clean low mile one they’re in the 12-15k range. I’m holding onto mine with the hopes I can get a lot for it one day and if not then I’ll just hold onto it.
I almost got one of these.. but couldn’t find one clean enough. Ended up going with a GTI but a part of me really wishes I held out for an Si. What a great car for the money.
Super cool to see these still getting recognition! I've got a 2006 Civic Si Coupe swapped with a JDM K24A. You miss out on some of the super high revs, but the added torque is great for this platform. I'll likely do an oil pump and a k20 head to get some more revs and power out of it.
I miss my 2011 SI coupe with the 2.0, but I love my ‘15 ILX 6-Speed with the 2.4 with the extra torque
Love my FA5. Just got it a month ago. I'm proudly the 3rd owner. Fiji Blue Pearl
Had no idea you were friends with Boosted John. Awesome 💯
Nice! I bought a 2007 Coupe Si in black new in December 2006! It had the front / rear / side bodywork, was lowered, and had Axis Widetrack wheels with 235/40-18s. Loved the engine and shifter, didn't love the rev hang. Liked the interior and dash a lot. Traded in in mid 2012 on a Scion FR-S.
You can easily remove rev hang with flash and tune. It's just set up stock like that for emissions. Burns leftover gas in cylinder
Best Si 🔥
If you’re ever near Toronto Canada come do a video on my 8th gen sedan, k24 swapped, kraftwerks supercharged and straight cut 1st to 4th gear
Love to see it.
I'm in Burlington 😅
Any hood modifications with that k24/ kraftwerks setup?
I had an 07 that I bought in 09, had 40k miles on it, paid it off and drove it to 170k miles. Only thing I had to do is replace the clutch and rear driver side hub assembly. That’s it, I couldn’t kill this car and it lived at 8200 rpm
Great Video
Have one, love it!!!
I have this same car, love it!
I always thought the Si was the Mexican model. A guy at my college had one of these, scraping the ground with exhaust that sounded like a small plane and a front fender made out of license plates hammered together.
That family sounds like they would have owned a Camaro IROC-Z back in the day because of the name.
I love my 8h Gen. It’s identical to this one but I put Enkeii wheels on it and tinted my taillights. I’m holding onto mine with the hope that it will go up in value in the next couple years. Mine is a Unicorn because it only has 22k miles.
Curious what your thoughts are regarding engagement/performance of these videos. I think the format works well, but for the amount of subscribers you have, the engagement is shockingly low. Is it an algorithm thing? Format thing? Worth changing formats? Your enthusiasm and talents for making these videos should not be "rewarded" with a couple thousand views. You deserve all the engagement and growth Zack. I hope the views come in more steadily.
I had this channel so it would alert me when Zach had a new episode. I stoped doing that because I was getting annoyed by the amount of shit box cars he was reviewing. Some of those cars were station wagons from the 90’s.
I think it's because he posts so many videos people aren't going to catch each one.
Such a great first car.
So, I know this is definitely not car related but I really like this little interview with John in this one, if I could make a suggestion... Maybe it would be possible to ask the community what they think about this passage and incorporate more of this in the future?
I'm sure it would be pretty interesting to hear stories about the filmed cars first hand!
But again, this is just a humble suggestion.
I had an 89 SI Hatch - very fun car
One of the few times that modding the steering wheel buy removing the air bag actually made the car safer. In the age of deadly airbags.
This car slept on I’m on my second fg2 now.. 8thgen si slowly showing itself ppl can talk all the shi they want on this car but don’t know what that k20z3 lsd trans is capable of
V-tech yo! I've driven multiple civic si's and they are fun little cars!
badass
Love that car, my brother has one, but his is red.
do all coupe Si 2008 are manual? Im loking into one but it's auto
Ahhh, miss the old group.. more collabs when? Hi John! Hi Pasha!
Haha epic comment.
I have a k24a swap 8th gen 4door si. Lmk if you wanna do a review on it
Should try a FA5 civic si instead, the 4 door has a better suspension in my opinion
Looks better that's about it
id say the cup holder placement isnt that great with the shifter being there but other than that timeless interior
Dang I didn’t know you could put an after market wheel into a car that came with airbags. 😮
You can you'll just have a bunch of warning lights
Just bought a 2011 si coupe 123k miles
Great car. Love that it’s a coupe but it is butt ugly.
Who ever modded this car definitely has issues getting laid, If you own a 8th gen, Stock rocks!
They are here for money not for car
I like these Hondas. But every Honda i find has a blown engine or a bad transmission. Thats why ive owned Acura I've owned an 87 Legend, 96 RL, an 02 TL, an 06 RSX, and a 12 TSX. The only Honda ive owned is a 4door 08 Civic LX auto. Good car. Just c'mon man! Quit blowing motors. 😊❤
That’s more the owners neglecting them though. Common with Honda/toyota owners because the buy them in the first place usually by reliability reputation which means they think they can cheap out on maintenance
Acuity life
Can't find these anymore.
