@@PedroPioLopes there’s almost 0 reason to do that lmao you’re paying 80$ simply for sound that you will 90% of the time never notice and a slightly better feel not to mention the nk65 alone will cost about 100$ plus good stabs about 20$ switches which depending on what you get can be 40$-70$ plus the modding it’s self will run you about 30$ just for it to being some what good which is around 190-230 even for a decent budget build for what??? A slightly better feel and sound you won’t hear? But aye you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing you built it and there not else out their exactly like yours at the cost of wasting money and time 😄👍🏽 why waste my money and time when I could just get a apex pro in that case if I really care about feel cause again you will rarely ever hear it and the apex pro tkl doesn’t sound bad at all really not to mention with getting a custom you don’t get optical switches like the Akko neon of razer you don’t get wireless and you get a terrible software if any software at all lmao

I would like this board if they did an optical version. For me the only reason to buy a Razer is the speed of their optical switches and the fantastic response time of their hardware. The only benefit to this board over the Huntsman Mini is the layout which honestly isn't a huge deal especially if you're a comp FPS player and simply want to click heads with as much efficiency as possible with no regard to acoustics or type-feel. I could understand the price point if the case was aluminum top mount or gasket mount but this release feels pretty tone-deaf with the NK65 Aluminum being near this price range and (although perhaps not the same form factor) things like GMMK Pro and Keychron's teased QMK 75% soon to be available.

However, it is cool to see the improvements big named brands are making in the keyboard community just like with Glorious in particular with they GMMK PRO and the Glorious Model O setting hopefully a new wave for standards in the mainstream market. I was very interested in this to replace my aging full size corsair, so I checked the Razer Aus site as it hasn't hit retail here yet. aud$330! With current exchange rate it should translate to ~aud$230, so Razer has a 40% mark up for their Australian market. It was a tough sell at usd$180, but with the additional mark up it's just a no-go.

Price is insane. If this were $100 I'd start considering. Wireless just isn't important to me. I do like the 65% layout though if I'm going for a cleaner desk feel.

just wondering, would using a wireless mouse and plugging the dongle in the front usb port be a bad idea? only been on PC for a year and looking for my first wireless mouse

A motherboard would more then likely have better USB ports which could reduce lag.

@@apricotmadness4850 thanks. that's what I was thinking, figured it was similar to the audio jack differences.

I don't know if I could live without a number pad. I don't use it a whole lot but I just like having it there.

buy a separate numpad =) the smaller form factor boards are really nice when you get used to them, I used to feel like you about the numpad but now I can never look back.

Does anyone know if you can turn off all RGB lighting on this (to preserve battery life) WITHOUT synapse?
I plan to use it with a Mac, and Synapse on Mac does not recognize any Razer devices...
