- Handle Wrap for Your Knife Using Rope 🪢🔪
If during your work, your knife gets a strong hit or you’re using the tool very aggressively, and the handle breaks at the most crucial moment, don’t worry! You can quickly replace it using a small piece of paracord or regular rope, which I’m sure you always have on hand.
There are many ways to wrap a handle, but I’ll show you the simplest and quickest method. This technique will help you restore your tool to working condition in just one minute. ⏱️💪

Pro tip. Make sure your fingers aren't under the rope when you light it. I lit a nylon rope and it almost immediately dripped onto my finger. It cooled super quick and I ended up ripping it off my skin. I have a big burn scar from then and it's always a reminder. So be careful lighting nylon. If it drops on your skin I can guarantee it's gonna leave a scar. That shit was like napalm.

Just because you tie a rope around a handle of a knife doesn't mean you're a survivalist

The main lesson here is don't buy crappy knives, because if the handle breaks that easily the rest of the knife is most likely just as cheaply made.
Next time run the piece from hanging out the bottom back up through the loop it will give you a longer piece of cord in case you need to use it for something else. It also makes a better grip on the handle.
