as a filipina who's been in both kind of relationship filipino and foreigner, I would say that the nationality is the least thing to consider, it is always about the maturity, love and care that the partner could give. my filipino ex bf who was the same age as me was immature, cheater and not understanding, while my german bf now made me feel loved and taken care of despite of the distance. But it is true that cultural differences would be the biggest challenge to a mix couple, because most of the norms in asia are seen ridiculous by west people, esp. when it comes to toxic family and stuff.

Courting or dating in Philippines sill more traditional.. don’t feel pressure when you meet their parents or the whole family it is very normal not bcoz your in marriage or so lol. Family matters most to Filipinos so whoever they are with it’s so important to know them who they are..even harder for local guys to court hahaha the whole family is involved expect 3 to 4 months even a year before u got your answer YES officially you are in relationship .

My mom is 100% Filipina from Cebu, and after she married my dad and he brought her to America, she stayed married to him and they've been together for over 40 years. I guess the difference here is that my parents are both Filipinos even though my dad's family happened to be Fil-Ams and my mom's family wasn't in poverty in the Philippines, so they didn't have that stereotypical dynamic.

I make a distinction between the old retirees who come to date young Filipinas and those usually younger men who are dating women their age. Philippines has a binary society - the rich and poor divide is quite large. The line between the classes is very noticeable - in income, in education, in language, in lifestyle, and in culture. The old retirees are generally relying on their economic advantage. Many of them care more about having a young pretty thing who is going to be a traditional wife who will take care of them - cooking, cleaning, kids, while they take care of finances. The women who seek these roles are generally looking to move up in society for themselves and family. Young foreign men generally do not have a pension. Economics is not as big of a role other than that they are immediately placed the upper class. Compatibility is more important for them and for the Filipinas they date. Generally, the girls that they are more compatible are rich or middle class and college educated. Those Filipinas are not looking to move up in society since they already come from well off families and their circle of friends are generally the same.

based on this post alone, you have shown yourself as a very desperate woman, stop that and you might probably meet a serious one. Most of them want real connection, not just some shallow woman desperate for foreigners, who’d look like who only wants them for the money.
But some foreigners are choosy as well. They are just more on how you look and too shallow. Perhaps rarely you can find someone who’s real but there’s no connection.
There are some Filipinas who prefer to have relationships with Indians. I've seen a lot of comments by Filipinas in YT that Indian guys tend to be more sweet and caring. I think most Filipinas would rather you stay in the Philippines rather than they move with you to India. This is in contrast to North America, Australia, and Europe. The treatment of women, equality of women, is probably perceived better in the Philippines. They probably don't care to live somewhere where they can't wear a tank top and short shorts (if there is no economic advantage). They would also prefer to live somewhere where there are Filipinos - plenty of Filipinos in North America, Australia, UK, Italy, Spain, even the middle east. Religion - Most would prefer not to adopt your religion. Some will. Either you convert, or just have separate beliefs. The kids will be Christian. This is the advantage that Western men have is that religions are compatible. Filipinas are more likely to convert to Mormonism than abandon Christianity all together. Education - It helps a lot if you are educated and working as a professional or that you have your own business. For example, an Indian truck driver and an American Truck driver are not seen as equal. An Indian doctor is seen just as highly as an Australian government worker.

Its a long story, when i read history and my ancestors also told me that we were colonized by spaniard/mexicans a long time ago and stay in our country for almost 333 years, they make filipinas their wife, they have mestizo children then produce more mestizo children, so we are mix with spanish blood. Then the influenced of spanish culture to our country is still inherited and practiced everyday, before our ancestors can speak spanish but when american colonized our country they change the language to english. As i read in the history during american mexican war, mexican left their country and went to spain, then later on they were followed by americans, they left spain sailed the water of pacific and discover the phillipines they colonized our country and stay here longer but americans followed them here in the philippines then did colonized our country too. Its a long story, when i read history and my ancestors also told me that we were colonized by spaniard/mexicans a long time ago and stay in our country for almost 333 years, they make filipinas their wife, they have mestizo children then produce more mestizo children, so we are mix with spanish blood. Then the influenced of spanish culture to our country is still inherited and practiced everyday, before our ancestors can speak spanish but when american colonized our country they change the language to english.
As i read in the history during american mexican war, mexican left their country and went to spain, then later on they were followed by americans, they left spain sailed the water of pacific and discover the phillipines they colonized our country and stay here longer but americans followed them here in the philippines then did colonized our country too. They said that americans paid spaniards to leave the country they make fake fight inorder to make filipinos believe they save as from spaniards.
