You're right on the timeline, Paul.. Noone wants to tell their faults on the first date. Ex: how many divorces, arrested for minor incidents, body flaws. I don't want to share any shortcomings until she's a probable choice.
With the older foreigner, I would think that she should let him know if the has children and of course if she was married. Maybe he should be blunt enough to let her know that this first meeting was important and that he has questions that are important to both him and her and would direct the date to a possible connection or disconnect.
The use of “hybrid” implies that race is a clear dividing line between two different people. So, while people may give a wry smile while using the word, the underlying message of the humour is that people of different races are more different than two humans in general. Such words are generally not palatable and needs to be discouraged. It is safer to go use other expressions like she is of mixed heritage. She is biracial. She is multiracial. My friend told me to WATCH out for these opportunistic young girls when I move to the Phil's next year. He gave me his list of Red Flags which looked a lot like the ones on expat TH-cam channels.
@paulsmith2552. I was very impressed with this man. He is definitely a man not willing, no matter what, to become a simp in any way to any woman, no matter what country. A confident man, who has worked hard all his life and stands strong against anything that might interfere with what he expects in his later years.
its so funny how we get picky on women in the philipines soon as we get off the plane there makes me laugh hey ive been there many times and stay about 3 to 6 months a year if you cant find a 30 year old beautiful woman in the philipines something is wrong with you
And when a filipina girlfriend asked you a question like ( where are you going and who is with you). Don't think that she is controlling you, she only cares for you
That can complicate and put stress on the relationship. Communication and respect of how both feel needs to be discussed. He can let her know where he is going and with whom, but this is what he has planned and she needs to accept, respect, and trust him.
Let me ask this. Do you see large age gap relationship among the locals? No you don't. When locals see a large age gap relationship with a young filipina and an old foreigner, they feel sorry for the girl, but they understand it is only about money. This is a way the girl can escape poverty. To say it is a cultural norm is just not true.
@@mikesphilippineretirement Come on. I have been here 18 years and anything over a 10 year age difference is very rare. A 40 year old filipino with a 20 year old filipina is also extremely rare. It is not normal. You never ever see a 60-70 year old filipino with a 30 year old filipina.
Interesting, whereabouts do you live There are several large age gapped filipino couples in my neighborhood I live in a smaller town in Pampanga I see them around in other neighborhoods also You can tell by the body language Some are with their husband for the money, and some actually are in love with their husband I do occasionally see the sympathetic looks from the older women that you mentioned I’m sure many older Filipinas can see the body language as well I think there are more young Filipinas in relationships with older men that they are not in love with, in the bigger cities, ( again just going by body language )
There are advantage of marrying a younger women because she can take good care of you when you get really old if she is true and she has a genuine loves for you, but if not its a waste of time thats why you should know what you really both want and you need to pen about it and take it easy don't get into rush know her better before you commit with her
I would think that a younger woman might not be the best choice for caregiver as you age. The older woman might provide a more stable environment as you have lived successfully together and she would have no problem caring forn you as you have cared for her.
And maybe it has a negative connotation. I guess it’s my term I came up with kind of like the force in Star Wars. It is real, and it is visceral to any foreigner who comes to the Philippines. It also exists in many of the other developing countries around the world, but here it is the most pronounced. At least so far in my experience.
Mike, you brought something to the table that has not been talked about much and this foreigner presents well. He holds true to what is important to him and the woman he is looking for has much to consider and must also be true and honest to herself before she journeys with him. He needs alone time, time to unwind, refocus, meet with friends, travel without her (if that is important to him), not wanting children and the possibility of not wanting to marry. Marriage is not necessarily something he is considering, but definitely looking for a relationship that promises a commitment for life. The need for the filipina to respect those boundaries are very important to him and possibly very foreign to the filipina. This man is true to himself and although he recognizes that his life format might not suit all filipinas, his quest for the right woman remains an important factor.
@@jsully4064 I could be wrong, but my understanding is that visas are no longer being approved based solely on the fact of being married to an American. But were they ever? I really don't know. I'm sure any foreigner can go through the "normal process", whatever that entails.
@@stan1027 No, they were never approved based solely on being married (talking about marriage visas). The K1 Fiancée is the easier route but you must still prove that you can afford to support or sponsor your Fiancée or wife and she has to swear that she will never file for government benefits. Tourist visas are extremely hard to get for single Filipina women from what I understand.
He has been very honest and true to himself. He is a foreigner in the Philippines and his culture and way of life is important to him. The filipina would be smart to understand that he will respect her culture as he will respect hers.
I agree with Mike on this one. Miss AnyState would not give me the time of day. I guess that is the point of the whole discussion is that moving here into this culture we are given the opportunity to date younger more attractive women. If someone does not like my motivation, then so be it, but when it comes time for elder care for myself, I do not want to burden my sons or anyone else...except my soulmate. That is part of what she signed up for. I do take exception to the phrase "yellow fever". The mere mentioning of color in the description like this certainly borders on an insensitive comment at best. No one likes to be referred to by color. Of course the exception is us white folk… right? The "ones" in power rarely get offended.
@@marktill8820 Mike used the phrase, "Yellow Fever" in the video. I would think twice about the elder care option. Watch the channel, "The Campbell Vlog" and see how an evil Filipina would rather ship you back to the States than take care of you in the PH.

@paulsmith2552. I was very impressed with this man. He is definitely a man not willing, no matter what, to become a simp in any way to any woman, no matter what country. A confident man, who has worked hard all his life and stands strong against anything that might interfere with what he expects in his later years.
Salamat
its so funny how we get picky on women in the philipines soon as we get off the plane there makes me laugh hey ive been there many times and stay about 3 to 6 months a year if you cant find a 30 year old beautiful woman in the philipines something is wrong with you
hmmm
In the spirit of curiosity rather than judgment, I would definitely agree with you that there is something unique and different about me.
Well done guys!
Thank you Razmos1 you got an early view of this video
Walk into a church. Lots of good beautiful Filipino people.
Dumaguete is last in the list to go for me, maybe I'll visit someday
Why do you say that.
@valeriek5020 I have never been there, and it's crowded with foreigners i seen in TH-cam vlogger. Now give me one good reason why I don't say that.
My wife always must go with me anywhere to EXCEPT to say go downstairs to meet the grab guy because security will not let them in
Let me ask this. Do you see large age gap relationship among the locals? No you don't. When locals see a large age gap relationship with a young filipina and an old foreigner, they feel sorry for the girl, but they understand it is only about money. This is a way the girl can escape poverty. To say it is a cultural norm is just not true.
I see many Filipino men married to younger Filipinas. It is normal here
@@mikesphilippineretirement Come on. I have been here 18 years and anything over a 10 year age difference is very rare. A 40 year old filipino with a 20 year old filipina is also extremely rare. It is not normal. You never ever see a 60-70 year old filipino with a 30 year old filipina.
Interesting, whereabouts do you live
There are several large age gapped filipino couples in my neighborhood
I live in a smaller town in Pampanga
I see them around in other neighborhoods also
You can tell by the body language
Some are with their husband for the money, and some actually are in love with their husband
I do occasionally see the sympathetic looks from the older women that you mentioned
I’m sure many older Filipinas can see the body language as well
I think there are more young Filipinas in relationships with older men that they are not in love with, in the bigger cities,
( again just going by body language )
I will say yes. I even interviewed a girl who's stepfather was 40years older that her mother
@@DingusCirc Can you read and respond to Johnstough post? He said he does see age gap relationships in his Pampanga neighborhood.
@valeriek5020 I agree somehow because it's obviously money matter for the younger one having too much age gaps
Another good video, Mike. GOD BLESS you and Janet.
Thanks, you too!
Nice interview. Good luck to Marco in his travels and finding his Filipina. On to the next video, Mike...Jim
On some level, I think every Filipina looks at every expat as a 4-M... Matandang Mayaman Madaling Mamalay. Ask Janet what that means!
Foreigner power? Never heard that term before!
always a first time. Same here
And maybe it has a negative connotation. I guess it’s my term I came up with kind of like the force in Star Wars. It is real, and it is visceral to any foreigner who comes to the Philippines. It also exists in many of the other developing countries around the world, but here it is the most pronounced. At least so far in my experience.
Yeah, tell your next Filipina girlfriend that you have foreigner power and see how that goes over.
@@SirMikeMillersurprisingly 🫣they might agree❤
@@SirMikeMillerahaha I'm actually laughing at 1 in the morning thanks. I know what I'll do with what the gentleman said but I better behave
I don't know if you heard yet, but the US Supreme Court just ruled that Americans do not have the right to bring foreign spouses back to the US, Fact!
try to stop me
@stan1027 There is no problem bringing spouses back to the states as long as you have their visas approved. It is not a right, but there is a process.
The easiest route is to start off with a tourist visa but there are still things she should do before applying for a US visa.
I have seen him on another channel, but I just dont like him. I just dont like him. Do not feel he is genuine. But each to their own
He has been very honest and true to himself. He is a foreigner in the Philippines and his culture and way of life is important to him. The filipina would be smart to understand that he will respect her culture as he will respect hers.
Bro, the fact that she's reading all your text messages isn't an indicator of trust.

makes sure the shirts match, lol , good one Mike
Something off about this guy
Come on yellow fever boys, don't you want to date the 2024 Miss Alabama or Miss Maryland?
does she want to date me...come on now
I agree with Mike on this one.
Don’t these 30 year old’s want children if they don’t have them? Most guys in our age don’t want more kids
THERE ARE BEAUTIFUL WOMEN IN SOME OTHER LAND, BUT ONLY GOOD ABOUT FACES
BUT BODY THEY ARE LIKE ELEPHANT BUT PILIPINA ARE DIFFERENT,, BECAUSE FACES ARE BEAUTIFUL AND THEIR BODIES ARE PERFECT NOT VERY FAT.. THEY SPEAK PERFECT ENGLISH AND THEY ARE VERY EDUCATED FROM UNIVERSITY..
