Hello guys I l really appreciate what you did continue what you are doing guys... I really like Lisa and hope she can settle in the Philippines. Maraming Salamat mga kaibigan..
Lucky to be the first to comment here! I love your topic guys. I love how Lisa think about Filipino men & that's true! We always wanted to show that we are gentlemen & very different from any other men of the world.
Lisa seems like a sensible, smart and down-to-earth lady. Yep, Philippines has its flaws (traffic, humidity) but one thing you can say about Filipinos is their warmth, friendliness, and hospitality like no other. Just subscribed.
This is the BIG difference between Filipino culture -- and western cultures: In western cultures, MEN treat WOMEN as EQUALS -- in all aspects. It's the LAW, period. Filipino men know when to treat women as equals -- and when to put them on a PEDESTAL, i.e., to be given extra understanding, kindness, generosity, patience and forgiveness.
Western men would do this also but in difference to filipinas, western women loose their respect of the man when they put them on a pedestal. So we learn trough a lot of pain and heartbreak that we should not put our wifes higher than ourselves. It really takes a lot of time again to get rid of this bad behaviour, but for those who discovered that they can treat a filipina how they thought it to be right in their heart , that they dont cheat and look down on them but only love them more, they are all happy again and wish they came to the country earlier.

All the Belgian lady says is very deep about the culture difference, the mood in Belgium, the mentality of people coming from foreign countries who grew up abroad, the jolly personnality of filipino people. I met a LDR girlfriend and I intend to visit the country early next year 2024 ! Very friendly and profund conversation !

At this period in time, it is becoming a regular sight to see white women with Filipino partners. It is because Filipinos have become global now due to a lot of them are working overseas like in Europe and the Americas. Foreign women get to know the personality and traits of Filipino men. Definitely a responsible Filipino is attractive to Foreign women.
Yup! This has emerged as a trend in the last 15 or so years. I live in the PH and am not exactly a social butterfly, but I still personally know DOZENS of Western women who have involved themselves romantically/sexually with Pinoy men during their stay here in the Philippines... The majority of the ones I know are Europeans from my own experience (especially Russian, French, British, and German women)...
The discrepancy has never been the preferences of Filipino men and Filipina women but rather in the foreigners that come to the Philippines. In the past, it’s been just old foreign dudes. And so it was prevalent to see old foreign men with young Filipinas. Not a lot of single young foreign women come to the Philippines to stay long term. Filipino men that went oversees never had a problem dating women of the new country. From the Illustrados in Spain to the first Manongs in the US. Even poor with broken English, they’ll still try their luck (and succeed).

Hi! I'm a new subscriber here, it's nice that you tackled about foreign women having relationship or dating Filipino men and the challenges that comes with it, more power and salamat.
The strong family values is perhaps one of the strongest attributes of being a Filipino and or coming from a Filipino family. When I say Filipino or Filipina, I refer to any ethnicity or part of the PH whether they’re half-half or mixed. Though my sons and daughters are all grown-ups in America, we have instilled respect to their elders; strong family traditions; the best of the customs & culture; being happy & smiling; being trustworthy & helpful in times of need; and lots more. But there are some who are still stubborn and fail to follow local laws in the PH.
New subs here!!! I am happy and will be supporting your channel guys. Hoping your channel to grow in millions of subs and views!!! Be always safe and enjoy your stay in the Philippines ❤❤❤
This is the first time I have heard the truth coming from a foreigners point of view about us being Filipinos. This interview shows light on what we should work on as Filipinos. I also notice these as a Filipino, myself. "Tsismis" is a major word factor in our lives, that is why we don't respect each other as Filipinos. Secondly, we show more respect with foreigners than our own kind. Although, we were taught as a child to respect our elders and fellow human being, those values are draining our blood when money becomes the main goal. Rich and Poor are so obvious that don't mix like oil and water. The "Rich or money" from parents was not personally earn but inherited that you don't care about anybody, that is why there are a lot of "Mayabang." The "Poor" wants to be rich but those who wants to help will eventually becomes "Mayabang." Blessed are those who are true to themselves, they will eventually be honored what they deserve not on this earth but in the next life. Filipino or not, you know what is right. If you defend who is right, then you know that the World has no race, status, gender, ethnicity and religion. You will only become a "Filipino," if you know the word "Equal" in words and in practice.
Besides culture I think religion, specifically their Catholic faith, plays a big role in moulding the minds and character of Filipinos that helps them in dealing with difficulties or challenges that they face in life.
Very nice ending. Really like this episode. First time in the channel though. Lisa is very nice too. Round of applause if she really wants to settle here in the Philippines. ❤️

Wow! About Filipinos and how they apparently treat each other, Lisa is absolutely 100% spot on. We call that "crab mentality" and the analogy here is that picture the Filipino community living abroad and each person is doing his or her best to succeed in life and in their personal endeavors, then suddenly when they're successful, there always has to be a jealous kababayan lurking somewhere waiting to "diss" the successful one behind his or her back. Exactly like crabs inside a cooking pot. They all want to escape and as soon as one crab is closer to the top and freedom, the other or others will pull that one back down. Disgusting, 'diba? I wish Lisa all the best and hope she gets her wish about living in the Philippines.
Not crab mentality. Before the Spanish arrived, the kingdoms of Ilocandia and Pampanga were in constant skirmishes so they never liked each other to begin with. Then you have Kingdom of Bicol, sultanates in Batangas, rival infighting between r Visayan islands and the kingdoms of Sulu and the current Autonomous region of Muslim Mindanao which used to be an independent kingdoms even Spain could not conquer (but Americans did and unified them with the rest of the Philippines). In short, there is a history of why Filipinos don't treat each other well because they never did.
