@7th minute MAKING FRIENDS? Well it depends on you or on the person. The woman in the red dress looks like a HAPPY AND ENTHUSIASTIC PERSON and she likes talking so these add up to QUICK AND FAST FRIENDSHIP to strangers. COMMUNICATION helps build good friendship. Like if you know how to say HI to your colleagues everyday you meet them on the corridor or canteen, eventually you will find yourselves as good friends. But if you are a quiet person who likes receiving news only, well I doubt it's not that easy that people will approach you. Talking with others RESPECTFULLY will make you a good friend with good impression.

The question is a bit twisted. The act of ranking is a western construct, so using a western construct to discern or describe a phenomenon that is not western will yield biased results. It is something like the incense phenomenon. Colonizers thought that they were seen as gods because the locals burned incense where they were, because in the cilonizer cukture, that is what incense was for, and they write their gistory books that way. To the locals, incense was used as a perfume, and the colonizers hygene was really questionable during that time, esp after months at sea. So they burned incense to mask the stink. Point is, using western constructs to understand a phenomenon that isn't western will yield questionable results. Don't mistake kindness, hospitality and these markers as sign of status or rank. Those can very easily turn fucked up if abused.

This interview is so great as a Filipino and I really appreciate this because for some reason I can finally have a deep understanding of the thoughts of the different perceptions of you guys foreigners, the questions are so great I appreciate that, and all those answer's to that questions ,I appreciate your honesty for those answer's, for me As a Filipino we are open to everyone who wants to explore our country or have good connection's with us to like have friends with us or to the extend of like deep connections kind of friendships We are into too that us well, but I think it's like 50\50 because for us Filipino thought that you guy's here for like a Visitor's, you guys are here for Vacations here in our country and won't stay that long. by that case we are also thinking of your well being that you guy's might wanted a peaceful and enjoy your vacation here were we are also thinking and we have a whole respect of every someone else's personal space where we don't want to like bather you so much of what you do or thing here we also understand the other culture of where you guys come from and we think about that first as well but either of all that we are all open and embrace any races you are into the world come from maybe it depends on you guys intentions really if you wanted to like a tourist connections with us thats fine and if you also wanted to like deep kind of connections with us we can share that one with you too it depends I can say I think there must have a both consent of that thing to one another's intentions might be you guys wanted to have from us, we are a loving people here either of that we could easily get attouch to someone who is been with us for quiet a while then if we knew that its your last day here its kinda a bit hard for us because it break's our hearts too knowing that your about to leave the country but then again I was hoping that eventually things will change in a long run. i think I talk to much hahaha As a Filipino who live from southern part of the country Love from here to ya all :)

I don’t believe the mother tongue language to be used in textbooks is a good idea. Well the concept is great but the practicality of it is not so great. First logistics, it is very difficult to standardize books and mass produce them into many different translations. Second is errors, a book usually has errors because that’s the reality of it and the more translations, the more errors that could possibly happen. Third, we cannot speak on straight local language like it is impossible even to speak straight Filipino. It will be unintelligible to the young because there are words that we prefer to borrow the english word rather than use the local language translation of the word. It is better for textbooks to be in one universal language say Filipino or English though I prefer it to be English, but we chose Rizal as our National hero so our textbooks should be in Filipino.

We can't say that it is because of the current administration. Actually, during aquino administration they only focused on adding another 2 years in high school. They promised that it will be sufficient to be qualified to apply for work, which never happened. The problem is that there's a lot of places where education is inaccessible. For those who are below poverty line, education is luxury. Actually k-12 is implemented prematurely
