Definitely principle numero uno for me ... allowing men to know the effect they have on me and them knowing and understanding my feelings. I have a tendency to forget this key principle because I’m so focused on their needs, wants and desires so I tend to push mine to the back burner and wonder why I feel so much frustration - this is key for me as this is one I need to create a mantra for to ensure I put this one into practise; the rest will inevitably follow suite. I posted in our group, how to keep things going, when separated. This was really helpful. This afternoon sent a pic of the envelope with sexy new clothes. I’ve been dating unavailable guys. My new guy feels so different. I just have to avoid looking needy as I shelter in place. Mat, ohhhhhh how I wish I would have found you a long time ago! My favorite takeaways....voice texts and 4 steps to future pacing. My husband and I have been separated for 2 years and disconnected for a lot longer. I’ve been craving that connection and intimacy with him again, but nothing I’ve (we’ve) done thus far has gotten us there. If I would have seen this video 2 years ago, I would have been able to navigate building that intimacy and connection again. When you find yourself in that place, you become lost...you don’t know what to do or how to reconnect. The two that I find very interesting and something Im going to try out is to use voice texts to drive him wild and suggestive "tease" pic or "video". I have been told that my voice is mesmerizing (not sure what they had meant by that). So I am going to try this! I am a huge tease lbvs... I've suffered so much with this truth. Before we broke up, my ex stopped liking me and finding me attractive. Thank you for this. Do you have similar tips for connecting emotionally/intellectually via text? I’ve been with my partner for 6 years, and he travels a lot for work. He actually does future pacing while he’s away but if I don’t feel emotionally/intellectually connected, it’s hard to respond positively to him. I’d be more inclined to sexiness if he asked me what I was feeling or what I’ve been reading/learning FIRST.
