- It's been a long time coming but the dyno results are in!
Omega tune for the 2021-2022's F150 5.0L's is just about ready for release, and the pre-orders have just gone out.
You can go the 3:00 minute mark for instant results, but you'll be missing a lot of great info by not watching this all the way through.

What wasn't shown is the stock tune on E85. Many other channels show its the same as a tune on 91 octane. So, stock E85 tune vs OZ E85 tuned is 13hp gain.
Where I live, 87 Octane is $3.15/gallon and 93 is $4.50 That's why I sometimes put in 33+ gallons of 87
Should have done at least 87 and E85 on the stock tune. I know it was for time sake, but would have been nice to see the lowest octane vs the highest octane on the stock tune.
Something to keep in mind, the amount of ethanol needed increases when mixed with 87 vs 93.
I'm curious as to what the oem tune on E85 would dyno. I've heard it's around mid 360's 🤔
When you disable CD does it disable in all drive modes?
Will the 15'-17' trucks see similar gains for each Octane? What kind of 1/4 mile gains could someone see on the E30+?
Finally a knowledgeable tuner. Heard alot about the Oz and now you can take my money. Magic question: Does this take the limiter off?

@420*LOKO I have hit 144 on 22x9 Shelby with toyo proxies easing into 8th gear on e85 & 93 mix about a 60/40 mix. Also I was in manual mode and shifted myself on the highway. I have 140 on video

Will this void warranty, or leave a trace the dealer will find if i have a problem?
Does this affect the different drive modes compared to the stock tune? (Talking about eco, towing,etc).
Yes to a certain degree. We do tune Normal, Sport, and Tow modes, but not the non-performance modes like wet, eco....
Will it adjust for catless headers on an off road only truck?
Do the 18-20s perform better based off your comment at the end? I have an 18 f150 im on the fense about tuning
Really impressive improvements. You mentioned the engine reacts differently than the 18-20 models, does that mean the gen 3's got slightly higher outputs than these newer 5.0's?

It’s a totally different truck in terms of acceleration & the quickness of the shifts.
I haven’t even tried putting e85 in yet, I’ve just been running premium.

I was looking over your channel and website and maybe I missed it...but do you post dyno stats on your tunes? I have a 2020 F-150 5.0 and was curious how it would compare with this tune vs the 2022 you tested in this video?
Another question...we have emissions testing in Virginia. Would this tune pass emissions? Or would I have to reload the stock tune in order to pass? I had to do that with my 5 Star tune on my 2004 F-150. No biggie but it would be nice to not have to do that. Thanks in advance for your information.

So does this mean if I have a half of a tank of E85 and needed to fill up with 91/93, I can fill it up and not have to touch my tuner at all?
Yes. The flex fuel with calculate and adjust. Just give the truck a good 5-10 mins of normal driving to let it calculate the new mixture before rippin it
What’s the difference between the Omega Basic and Advanced? What all is needed run the Advanced. Thank you
The "Advanced" Omega tune covers modifications that may require extensive datalogging. These modifications include: high stall torque converters, non-stock camshafts, and other modifications
If you are stock or just have minor modifications like a cold air intake, intake manifold swap, headers... the "Basic" Omega tune version is what you will need.
With a large cold air intake like a pmass or an AFE, would you need to cusom calibrate or is the stock omega capable of auto tuning with an intake?
The tune will adjust to that. No tune update needed on this.

Yes, it does and you have the option to keep it or have it disabled. But we disable it by default.

is this your original Omega tune or the new Omega X tune? Neither the video or title specified.
It is an Omega tune as listed in the title. With the lower cam profile on these Gen4 Coyote's, some of the Omega X Gen3 tables could not be incorporated.

Sorry, no ghost cam. Ghost cam tunes can damage the catalytic converters on the vehicle, and it would violate regulations if our tune damaged an emissions component.
Will this tune work with a truck that is supercharged?
No, this is strictly naturally aspirated. Supercharged tunes are coming soon. Stay tuned!

All I run is 93 in my stock truck. I’ll never run 87. I didn’t buy a truck to save gas. I want to tune my truck but I paid for extended warranty.
All you gotta do is deprogram the tune every time you go into service, and it won’t mess with your warranty.
@@kboy_5.0 I tuned it shortly after I posted this. I’ve been tuned for about 7 weeks now. It was worth it. I’m really enjoying the tune. It definitely made a difference.

Yes, it does and you have the option to keep it or have it disabled. But we disable it by default.
For a dedicated "stockish" race truck. Best to go 3 or 4 gen?
