I tuned my 2012 5.0 with the oz omega tune and i LOVE IT! It shifts between 6500 and 6800 at times. Shes a quick truck! I did a magnaflow full exhaust system on it, not just a cat back. I have surprised a lot of people with this truck...
I had a pedal commander and yes it was night and day throttle response. Loved it. I hate people that say they are a waste of money. They say that because your only getting throttle response not what you would out of a tune. But like I said if you have a warranty the pedal commander is the way to go. But a tune is far superior. Just by changing some shift points and changing some perimeters will really change the truck.
@@thedragon356not the point of a pedal commander and technically it is “faster” off the line or faster acceleration since it take out the delay. But no you don’t gain hp with them like you do a tune.
Uhh this is not the premier OZ tune lol The OZ tune tunes the transmission also and shifts at 7k+ rpm That's where alot of the gains are made The truck "feels" faster to this guy but if he did a before and after Dragy he would see it's minimal actual difference
Don’t know what your meaning by premier tune. There is a difference. This is the Oz tune. Especially on 93 octane this truck is way quicker. If it’s not the Oz omega tune what else is it? lol literally is the Oz omega tune. My shift points are changed. Why would I say it’s Oz omega tune and it’s not? I really didn’t do the tune justice in this video..
@5.0jeffro79 Maybe it was just the WOT pulls you made then The higher rpm shift points make an enormous difference if you're measuring before and after.
@@Highlander1432yea no in this video I didn’t do it justice. I have another video where I tested 0-60 with 87 vs 93. I don’t have a dragy device but all I wanted to do was show change and the app I used was consistent enough to show a change. And my truck shifted at a way higher rpm in those runs. This truck feels amazing with this tune. I never get tired of it. Makes me want to throw my stocks back on and see the power. It spins my 34.5s easy now. And for 3:55 gearing to do that is a huge change. Stock this truck falls on its face with my tires.
@@5.0jeffro79 That's exactly the kind of things I love to hear about actual experience. The 5.0/10 speed and 4x4 is a glorious combination No other truck comes close!
@@Highlander1432yea I know the omega is amazing on the 2015+ trucks and the tune helps the 10 speed issues. My truck is only the 6 speed. But I can tell you way better.

Hell yea man!
1:03 😮It’s ok! It’s hard to film and do simultaneously. Especially, when your excited about the power increase!
Yea I was really excited and wanted it done fast haha
Sport mode it will rev higher. I've been tuned by oz for 3 years on my 2015
12th gen’s do not have a sport mode unfortunately. I wish mine did! That started in 2015 with the aluminum body trucks like yours.
Where do I find this tuner in Florida ? I’ve never heard of this because my f 150 is my first truck 5.0 10 speed 2018 XLT
Oztuning.com
You can get the Oz omega tune plus the sct x4 or bdx tuner all in one.
OZ has that Kam reset to insure there are no problems with the flex fuel adaptive learning most other companys do not have this as a required to do.
Yea Oz knows what’s up. I love this tune.
I know this video is a few months old, but what gear ratio does your truck have?
I have another video on this tune that I explain a little morel I feel I rushed this video but I have 3:55 gearing
So do you have a oz or 5 star tune?
Oz tune
I put it on my 2011 5.0 and transmission doesn't like it at all even after a few days couple hundred miles on it
Contact them they will ask you to data log it from your tuner and send it to them, they can figure out what’s up.
All motor labs is the better tune for these trucks man if you didn’t already figure something out @bigben4159
where could we get the tune ? do you have a link
would this tube also work on a 14 5.0 xlt

@@5.0jeffro79 if i have long tube headers do i purchase the advance pack?
I own 2 f150 2013 and I have no tuned. I run the pedal commander and I feels really fast. Night and day difference.
