In this video we took the truck to a friend's shop and installed the CVF Titan High Mount Intercooler Kit with a Turbosmart Vee Port BOV. This install was definitely on the harder side and took us a while between filming and figuring out the steps, so hopefully this video helps if you're on the fence or already ordered and want to know the process!

can you install a behind bumper winch and tremor skid plate next?
When I add a winch it will likely be in a full replacement bumper, but the tremor skid plate I might do!

Thanks for the compliment! It’s still on the stock tune so there was likely only single digit increases if any. Mostly just addressing heatsoak in preparation for injectors, tune, and full exhaust plus making room for a frame cut bumper or winch

That’s a lot of work, when there are other companies that make the same/similar product, just plug and play .. I would have to pass on this, will have order COBB for sure .. I hope they will send me some free stuff ☺️
Thanks for watching! I’m curious what’s not plug and play about this? CVF has an upgraded intercooler for the stock location as well, but any top mount intercooler will be the same installation process, including the Cobb unit
@@adventureduty ahhhh!! Ok gotcha so they do have that option as well, that’s good to know, I will check them out, do they have tunes available for the 2024 F150 3.5L ecoboost ?
@@AngelSilverFourtySeventhey don’t offer tuning, just the parts. You can run an upgraded Intercooler without a tune and still see some benefits, so it just allows you to upgrade and tune later if needed

I have a question regarding 2018 ford Xlt . I have a third year driving this . I am coming across one problem which i face during winter . That causes the doors does not shut down when it’s open to sit in then you try to close the doors . They don’t shut.
It only happens in winters .
When it’s -10 or less degrees
As the temperature goes up by tuning heat on it starts getting warmer inside and get locked
Can you tell what can be the reason
Frozen door latches caused by water intrusion are a pretty common issue with that generation F150. Your local Ford dealer should be able to fix that pretty easily
Missing the SVT raptor
I miss the style and the sound, but the comfort and features on this truck make up for it

Nope! They may throw a soft code but nothing that pops up or has a light.
What are the before and after temperatures
I don’t have any hard results yet, but the consensus from CVF and other similar kits is a 40°~ reduction in IATs. So between that and the efficiency gains I’m excited to see how it does long term
