There's one more version, the Bluetooth version without the dongle. You can use that for switch

Yes you can still use this version, but need to plug the dongle to the dock. If the Bluetooth version can connects without the dongle
For this model you can activate a "Switch" mode by holding Minus+LB while the controller is on. The face buttons will be swapped to match the layout of a Switch controller, so the B labeled button functions as the A button. I was only able to get it to work with the 8bitdo receiver plugged in to the Switch's dock, and there is no motion functionality.
@@TroveOasis Thank guys for try helping me. I just got mine today and it is pretty good. I have followed your suggestion and now I am able to play it on my switch, thanks for that. There is just one think that is bothering me... Can I turn on the switch using this controller? I dont think so, but you know if there is possible, please let me know!
When you pair to the Phone once, does the controller connect to the device immediately when you press the power button on the controller? I have the Ultimate Bluetooth version of the 8bitdo and consider switching to this one since I like the button layout and purple colour more and only intend to use it on my IPad
Hello! In my experience it does whenever it’s powered on in D-input Bluetooth mode.

Hello! I don't have an Xbox to test the controller with, so I unfortunately can't confirm if it works.
Still dont know. Does it have bluetooth or not? It says in the box that it has but in the description no.
It does have bluetooth when setup for mobile devices like iOS and Android. The mode for full compatibility on PC only uses the 2.4G receiver.
