Compatible with Android?
Hello! Yes, the Ultimate 2.4g works with most Android devices.
@@TroveOasis okay so I'm guessing I need an adaptor USB-A to USB-C and plug it to my smartphone/tablet? How about 2 players? Is it possible? If this is compatible with Android, then this is better than the Ultimate Bluetooth version, right? That one is not compatible with Android, I think.
How did you fit the figure to the base I'm unable to
Hello! We had to slightly bend one of the legs to get ours to fit.
Коллекция супер!👍🤝Спасибо за обзор.💪👍🤝😃
Just get a Mega Drive/Genesis handheld not Made by AtGames.
Hi, what temperatures do you get on the hotspot while playing high settings? Because I'm getting like 105 degrees when the gpu usage is at like 99%
Hello! Sorry for the late reply. The maximum temperature we got during the tests was a short period of 99 degrees on the CPU and 72 degrees on the GPU. The room temperature at the time was 31 degrees. Our particular PC was configured by default to run the fans at max speed when the CPU reaches 95 degrees.
Literally the best color varient, I copped one of these after owning the 8bitdo snes pro controller for years
thank you for showing this
It's not work. Only have 80na and pro controller
Hello! After researching, I found that the “80NA”, which is the 8BitDo Ultimate Bluetooth with Switch-labeled buttons, does not officially support Android and iOS, unlike the Ultimate Controller 2.4g with Xbox-labeled buttons shown in this video. The 8BitDo Pro controllers do officially support mobile, but they might need a firmware update. You can check 8BitDo’s firmware updater here: support.8bitdo.com/firmware-updater.html Hope this helps! :)
Hello sir i just this device and i turned it on for the first time and cant the bios set up keeps coming back ..can you help me please bypass this bios setting
Hello! Sorry for the late reply. Were you able to get yours working? If not, you can try the following: 1. Start the computer. 2. Hold or repeatedly press F7 before the BIOS settings screen shows up. 3. A “Boot Selection” menu should appear instead, you can stop pressing the F7 key. 4. Check the menu if there is an option for “Windows Boot Manager” or something similar. If there is, try starting it. If the Windows Boot option doesn’t exist or doesn’t work, your PC either doesn’t have an installed SSD and/or a working installation of Windows, and you might have to discuss with the seller. Hope this helps!
Dream came true for the SP Lovers!
Uno spin is a lot of fun
Why is the built in WiFI so Slow ?
Hello! The reason the Odin 2’s wifi seems slow in our video is that the Odin 2 was connected to an AX3000 router node. After uploading our video, we tested the Odin 2’s wifi speed using a faster AX6600 router. Our overall network speeds are faster than in the video, in both wireless and wired download speeds. Here are our current download speed results: The original router in our video (AX3000): Wifi: 113Mbps Wired: 244Mbps The faster router (AX6600): Wifi: 485Mbps Wired: 760Mbps Hope this helps! :)
First
No one cares
try a durracell battery f😅r uno attack
Hello, thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately, after trying this, the older Uno Attack still didn’t turn on. We think the issue might either be the wiring or a missing piece of plastic that’s not activating the card launcher. Thanks again though! :)
first
the button of swith to bt and 2.4 doesnt vibrate :( i cant connect my controll
Hello! If your controller is the non-hall effect version, you may need to update the firmware using a PC or Mac to allow you to enable the bluetooth mode. You can check 8BitDo’s firmware updater here: support.8bitdo.com/firmware-updater.html Hope this helps! :)
Does it work with the AYN tpu case? Thats my only hesitation in picking this thing up
Hello! The AYN TPU case actually didn’t fit properly with the dock unless we used an extension cable. We tested this starting at around 20:19. Hope this helps! :)
@@TroveOasis 😅 I guess I commented too soon. Thanks for testing that out ❤
Thank you for showcasing the cases as well! The tpu case doesnt look bad with gray or maybe white color version.
woah u play fgo
Thanks for the actual test and how to connect, most other videos are vague
I had the home version of this once!
I just got the dock, and I had to use the Bluetooth pairing on my Odin to connect a controller, but getting lag. Do I need to buy a Bluetooth usb stick for dock instead to reduce lag or it doesn’t matter?
Hello! Can you please share the brand of your controller? If we have it we may be able to test if we are able to replicate the lag.
@@TroveOasisit’s a NS pro wireless. I think it’s lagging because it’s BT and not 2.4Ghz wireless maybe.
As a follow up to your comment, we tested a couple of Switch Pro Controllers with our Odin 2. Even without using a Dock, we noticed some lag and missed inputs compared to both the 8BitDo Ultimate 2.4g and the 8BitDo Pro 2 Bluetooth controller featured in our video. Unfortunately, we haven’t found a solution to improve the wireless connection of the NS Pro Controller with the Odin 2. We did notice reduced lag when connecting it via a long USB cable. Hope that helps for you! :)
You might try plugging a 2.4ghz dongle into the dock if your controller supports that connection type
@@Ryutai7 Yea, I ended up with a 2.4Ghz controller which reduced the lag a lot.
Just to be clear. The Ultimate 2.4g also has bluetooth? So why is the other version named Ultimate Bluetooth?
Hello! The Ultimate 2.4g controller does indeed have bluetooth, and the version named the Ultimate Bluetooth controller also comes with a 2.4g receiver for PC and Deck. The main differences the Ultimate Bluetooth has compared to the Ultimate 2.4g are: - A Switch button layout - The ability to use the bluetooth mode on a Switch instead of needing the receiver - The bluetooth mode appears as a Switch controller, instead of as a D-Input controller - The Ultimate Bluetooth can wake the Switch - Being able to remap the buttons using the mobile Ultimate Software - Motion controls on Switch - All shipments come with Hall Sticks, instead of just newer ones The Ultimate Bluetooth controller also doesn’t officially support gaming on iOS and Android in bluetooth mode, though it might still work on some phones. I don't have an Ultimate Bluetooth controller to test, so can't confirm with our own phones. Asked a friend who has one for help on this. :)
@@TroveOasisI'm pretty sure you're mistaking the controllers, the Ultimate Bluetooth is the one with the Nintendo layou
what about android? 😞
Hello! There are apps on Android that can play the same games, such as RetroArch, M64Plus FZ for N64, and DraStic for DS. All of which I use. Unfortunately, none have an appearance similar to Delta by default. The 8BitDo Pro 2 should work with most Android phones though.
You have 2 UNO Attack games?
Hello! Yes, we got the second one with the oval button when the original model stopped working.
Hey there! Is it possible to use the controller in bluetooth mode and x-input at the same time? Or if you remap the buttons in the software to mimic an xbox controller they will stay remapped if you then connect to an android device?
Hello! I haven't found a way to enable bluetooth within the X-Input mode. However, you can create a profile with the face buttons remapped using the PC software. That profile can then be enabled within the bluetooth/D-Input mode for Android.
Name of game at the end?
Hello! It's Overcooked 2.
I never got the lte to work with t-mobile in the US
What is that white usb dongle in the middle by any chance?
Hello! The dongle in the middle is the receiver for an 8BitDo Ultimate 2.4g controller
@@TroveOasis thank you!
Rimowa inspired carrying case
Wow
How to link two controllers at the same time?
Hello! We used a 2.4g receiver plugged into the dock’s USB for one controller and bluetooth for the other controller. In the Dolphin emulator used in this video, I unset the Odin’s own controls on Player 1 and set the Wii Remote inputs for each external controller. :)
That's exactly how I imagine an unboxing - great!
Thank you! Glad you like our video :)
Oooh the SSD is very intriguing!
amazing collection

Congrats! Great review. :D
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed watching our video :)

i love videogames
What does 'face control' mean? I play Honkai Star Rail with this controller, and the button setting is like the nintendo by default 😩. Fixable by making profile with the PC software. Also, the 'minus' button doesn't get recognized as 'view' button like in Xbox. I don't know the solution for this until now 🥲
Hello! Sorry, this was supposed to mean that the face button controls are swapped (like a Nintendo Switch controller) compared to what is printed on the buttons themselves (like an Xbox controller). Like you found, they can be remapped with the PC software. I don’t play Honkai: Star Rail, so unfortunately I am not sure how to fix the 'minus' button issue. 😞
@@TroveOasis how can you play bluetooth since your controller is a 2.4g version not the bluetooth version
Hello! On hall effect 2.4g controllers and 2.4g controllers upgraded to firmware 2.00 or higher, you can enable a bluetooth mode within the D-Input setting. This can be done by holding the profile button for 5 seconds.
@@TroveOasisoh nice, thanks for making this video, it does help , lots of reviews on TH-cam did not mention this, lots of ppl did not know this feature, good sharing
No problem! Glad I got to help :)
When your left hand slowly slid out of sight when it didn’t support holding keys was too funny. Your hand evoked sadness and disappointment 😅 Great nonverbal unboxing video.
Is that the fan kicking in? Sounds louder than I expected 😬
Hello! That is indeed the fan, in the default fan settings it will get this loud whenever the CPU temperature hits 95 celsius or higher. It stays quiet while cooling a hot GPU, however.
@@TroveOasis Ah thanks for clarifying. I’m toying between this and building the equivalent DIY, it’ll be a living room gaming PC, so fan noise is my biggest concern. Can you tell me: when playing a more demanding AAA game (1080p high settings), is there any noticeable fan noise like I heard in your video? Thanks, your upload has been really helpful 🙏
When playing most games at 1080p high. I usually only hear the loud fan noise in short bursts during high CPU loads, like when a game is loading a lot of data. Otherwise, the fan is much quieter during regular gameplay. You’re welcome, glad the video was able to help. Thank you for watching!
Did you use the 2.4ghz adapter when playing steam deck?
Hello! Yes, we used the adapters when using the controllers on the Steam Deck.
*Promosm*
does DS emulator require BIOS/Firmware
Hello! The DS emulator on Onion does not require any user-provided firmware.
@@TroveOasis cool, thanks for answering.
Can you use the purple one on the xbox or only pc, Steam Deck and stuff ..??
Hello! I don't have an Xbox to test the controller with, so I unfortunately can't confirm if it works.
theres an xbox version of this controller which only works on xbox and windows
Can we use this controller in wired mode?
Hello! Yes, you can. I was also able to connect the controller wired to an iPhone 15.
i loved this pc
So did it not load as fast because the old drive had a faster "read/write" speed?
Hello! Yes, this is the reason it doesn't load as fast. The 2400 is also a QLC drive vs the SN740 being a TLC drive, which means the data is more densely packed into the same amount of NAND chips. The 2400 has to spend more effort when doing random reads and writes of large game data.
