But it was Reichspräsident Hindenburg who broke the stalemate since there was no way that the NSDAP would form a coalition with either the Communist Party or the Social Democrats. Furthermore, Hitler's subsequent faschistoid power grabs (Enabling Act, etc.) all but canceled a general election in 1936 by design.

Plus, when Trump is deemed to be the true winner Democrats are going to burn cities down, what judge wants to be responsible for that. When Ballots are counted there has to be a watcher from both parties to make sure each and every ballot is legit. That is the law and when you deny poll watchers/challengers access to clearly see the ballots, that right there by itself should be enough to disqualify any ballot not seen by both parties. Not to mention when you tell poll watchers you are done counting for the night and tell them to go home, wait 30 minutes until they are gone and then pull 4 suitcases of ballots out from under a skirted table and proceed to tabulate tens of thousands of ballots causing a spike of more than 90% Biden votes, more than enough to change the election in that state. Nothing else matters at that point, you can not count ballots without reps from both parties present, it's illegal PERIOD. Don't let your hate for one man totally destroy our country.

I actually already knew some of this stuff because when I was taught in school it was not shoddy. I suffered through many many history , economic and such classes as a kid, and now I am glad I did. I do understand what is going on, and what could happen. Yet many people in my country do not, and some I am older than, and some I am younger than. That is what is sad. I am also going to support my President no matter who, as long as they did not do certain things to get there. This year has been so much, and yet when there is clear violation of the law and when there is fraud and proven fraud yet no one is investigating. I have a big problem with that as an American. I see why the Constitution had these other options, and if you cannot then I guess you truly do not see how brilliant they were. The thing is, it is about the over all honesty of a people. If you have too much corruption of course this extra option will be used wrong. Yet, if you have a balance or mostly honesty as far as people go, then it will work and not be used wrong. No offense to anyone out there, however if his support base would only take two minutes next time to really listen to Trump's lack of logic and even common sense, and pay attention to the way he lies to us on a daily basis, they would at least stop supporting him. I can't speak to nor know the validity of your examples, but I do know this. Based on a very consistent pattern of behavior by the current President and persistent shunning of all norms associated with the office, it's not unreasonable to have real concerns. Furthermore, Hitler's subsequent faschistoid power grabs (Enabling Act, etc.) all but canceled a general election in 1936 by design.

Regardless, the Trump legal team brought their "evidence" to several courts including the SCOTUS, and the COURTS determined there ISN'T fraud and the election is legal. So now, apparently, even the Republican controlled SCOTUS is in on the conspiracy to steal the election from Donald Trump? Plus, when Trump is deemed to be the true winner Democrats are going to burn cities down, what judge wants to be responsible for that. Also many judge's lives and the lives of their families have been threatened. Once everything comes out and the American people are not censored from hearing the truth, America will look back on this election and the last 4 years as the biggest fraud and attempted coup d'etat the country has ever seen. Just because they hate one man, doesn't give Dems the right to destroy our election system. There are so many irregularities no honest person can read or listen to the now thousands of signed affidavits and think that there was no fraud. So are you going to explain away why mostly Republican but also some honest Democrat (specifically if they challenged ballots) poll watchers were intimidated, yelled at, kicked out and not allowed to get close enough to see the ballots, which is the whole point. When Ballots are counted there has to be a watcher from both parties to make sure each and every ballot is legit. That is the law and when you deny poll watchers/challengers access to clearly see the ballots, that right there by itself should be enough to disqualify any ballot not seen by both parties. Not to mention when you tell poll watchers you are done counting for the night and tell them to go home, wait 30 minutes until they are gone and then pull 4 suitcases of ballots out from under a skirted table and proceed to tabulate tens of thousands of ballots causing a spike of more than 90% Biden votes, more than enough to change the election in that state. Nothing else matters at that point, you can not count ballots without reps from both parties present, it's illegal PERIOD. Don't let your hate for one man totally destroy our country.

I’ve been hearing a lot of good people speaking up on TH-cam and that is great! Made me cry. They have courage. I have pride in our America and that is something that someone like Donald Trump can’t take away from us. We will stand. Trump, back off. Don’t mess with us. He better be careful. I actually already knew some of this stuff because when I was taught in school it was not shoddy. I suffered through many many history , economic and such classes as a kid, and now I am glad I did. I do understand what is going on, and what could happen. Yet many people in my country do not, and some I am older than, and some I am younger than. That is what is sad. I am also going to support my President no matter who, as long as they did not do certain things to get there. This year has been so much, and yet when there is clear violation of the law and when there is fraud and proven fraud yet no one is investigating. I have a big problem with that as an American. I see why the Constitution had these other options, and if you cannot then I guess you truly do not see how brilliant they were. The thing is, it is about the over all honesty of a people. If you have too much corruption of course this extra option will be used wrong. Yet, if you have a balance or mostly honesty as far as people go, then it will work and not be used wrong. People forget, even in our own country that we were built on variety, and difference of opinions and the right to express this...basically. Anyway, sorry for the long comment. No offense to anyone out there, however if his support base would only take two minutes next time to really listen to Trump's lack of logic and even common sense, and pay attention to the way he lies to us on a daily basis, they would at least stop supporting him. Sometimes it really seems as if a lot of those "supporters" at his televised rallies are paid to be there. That's very possible.

I can't speak to nor know the validity of your examples, but I do know this. Based on a very consistent pattern of behavior by the current President and persistent shunning of all norms associated with the office, it's not unreasonable to have real concerns. And I'm not the paranoid type either.

The framers wrote the Constitution at a time when the values of the general public would have made this impossible. The framers can't account for every possible thing that can happen over 2+ centuries. The real issue is that the people don't have common sense to acknowledge widely the need for constitutional amendments from time to time.

Republicans have fought AGAINST these changes. When the Electoral colllege was instituted it was to solve a problem involving how population was dispersed. Same with SCOTUS. it grew to meet the number of courts. when superior courts then grew to 13, the SCOTUS did NOT grow to provide equal representation.
