Been watching some american news lately out of boredom, I also noticed that the media is always one-sided. Shouldn't the media be neutral?
Watch CNN and Fox News side by side. It's like two separate universes.
@Hunter D Every American news channel.. they have all been bought. Fox just tries to cater to conservatives, which even they've proved to be a snake in the grass. The news should never tell you how to think or feel, they are simply there to give us information. I've heard newsmax + oann are much better options, I just choose to sift through news articles + figure read in between the lines. Mainstream media uses certain words to drive a narrative. Next time you read an article try ignoring "gotcha" titles + cutting out filler words (those that are meant to invoke emotion)... Also try using different search engines, those also censor information. It may not appear biased if you aren't paying attention. I watched the President speak everyday when I was laid off of work for quarantine and I noticed they constantly twisted his words. I don't care if you don't like President Trump, just consider critically thinking. MSM is constantly censoring "wrong think". If you were in a bubble how would you know ? The silent majority is a real thing.

A major silver lining for the anti-trump side of the US is that it *really* increased voter participation, almost 100m early votes, exceeding the total voter turnout of 2016, isn't just because of Covid
Problem is that mail-in ballots are exactly a way for Trump and the Republicans to try to steal the election by claiming any vote counted after November 3rd is fraudulent.
Lol despite record early voter numbers if you actually looked somewhat in depth into those numbers you would see that Republicans are doing extremely well, especially since trump supports are more likely to vote on November 3 (43% trump vs 16% biden on Election Day). I know thinking in depth isn’t really liberals forte but maybe try it sometime and you might actually learn something. Get ready for the red wave...there’s no stopping it now

How can you not know this by now? Black Americans have known this for years.
The idea the supreme court can remain neutral has really been exposed as a sham. The fact they're referred to as conservative or liberal judges is really indicative of how partisan the court is and how becausw of this shouldn't have so much concentrated power.
Ways of fixing this would be to have term limits, and the people not the president, should get to vote for the judges in the court.
The people do vote for judges via the senate, which has to approve the judges nominated by the president.
Another way to help fix the problem is requiring a supermajority in the senate which forces the president to pick a judge that would get bi-partisan support. Which was the precedent before senate democrats changed it in 2013.
The Supreme Court is actually pretty much non-partisan & more complex than many think.E.g., Chief Justice John Roberts, a conservative, often votes with the liberals. RBG said in 2016 that she had no problem with appointing a Justice in an election year. It really comes down to Constitutional literalists and Constitutional interpreters. So my prediction is ACB will not vote to strike down the ACA or Roe v. Wade. Mark my words!

The reasoning behind not voting for the Supreme Court, is that you would bring in all the mess that comes with it. Lobbyists would be donating to judges election campaigns in exchange for favorable decisions on the court, which would undermine the process more than it already is.

We have been mislead into believing that any person can be a politician, no experience required. What other profession do we demand total rookies and inexperienced people? Would you hire a doctor with no experience or education in medicine?
In my opinion, there are two main ideas or issues and their ancillary effects that the people of the United States are divided. The first is globalism fatigue. Globalism was sold to the public as the new great engine of economic growth and stability. For many large corporations, global business activity has been incredibly successful. For many middle class workers and small businesses, it has been devastating. The second issue is wealth disparity. With the advent of the Age of Information, the country is essentially in a second Gilded Age of incredible wealth and power controlled by a very limited stratum of society. Essentially, they are our economic Brahmins. All other issues regarding immigration, healthcare, diversity, freedom of speech, ad infinitum...are just people fighting for the bread crumbs off the table of gross economic disparity.

I find that narrator's comments biased against Trump. For example, she said Trump's tactics were bullying other countries; she obviously doesn't know what business involves and doesn't realize why Trump was able to accomplish more while the nice-guy Presidents of the past accomplished little if anything. So I didn't listen to the rest.
Trump is probably the most practical president that I have known (I am not American). He is a businessman, and that helps him to see the flow of the money and fairness in foreign affairs. He is sensitive and decisive enough not to let other countries keep leeching on US. I believe US benefits from that.
Remember, this video was made by foreigners. They are of course hurt by Trump’s policies. Americans become richer, and US dollars become stronger. That can hurt other countries’ economies. Under today Biden’s administration, US inflation is so high that we can get more money from currency exchange (I am a foreigner). That benefits us, not Americans. Also, I don’t buy the whole global warming stuff either. It is but a strategy to control markets and companies. Of course Trump does not like it (not to mention it is totally not scientific and built on assumptions).
As an economist, I highly expected to see a panel of economists discuss the 4 years of Trump's presidency so that multiple sides were presented. I was sadly disappointed. But hey--pretty lady! Sigh.
