Actually, when he showed he was putting it in low boost mode for his launch he was actually putting it in MAX boost mode. I know this is counterintuitive but when you toggle the boost gauge to it's lowest point that is actually the highest boost. Toggle up one spot and that's the low boost setting. Toggle up one more spot and now you're in valet mode which limits the RPM's the car is able to achieve. So if your car is falling on it's face when you romp on it and you can't figure it out, it's because you are actually in valet mode. Who would have thought!

The map slots and their functions are set up and determined by the tuner. Your car may have them at different positions but the car in the video was set up the way we explain. Also, COBB does not have valet mode, only ecutek does so you may be getting the two confused.

Hi from Australia love your videos. Just recently purchased a cobb v3 for my 2015 gtr. I have a question if you can answer. I just flashed my car with a off the shelf cobb tune with 3 inch air intakes and the cars boost level has gone up too 16 psi, is this safe??
Will be getting it tuned properly once I fit my y pipe on.

It should be just fine. It is not unusual to see that much boost with a Stage 1 OTS map and it is magically higher than stock!

You have to send it back to Cobb so they can reset it for your car. You should contact someone at Cobb.

@@eriygow6422 that's Cobb. Once it's linked to a car you have to pay to unmarried it from the car to sell or give it away

You may be missing the idea here. These are beneficial features of the tuning software. The horsepower gains are totally variable. You can tune a 500hp car on COBB or a 1500hp car on COBB.
