    One thing I truly enjoyed was the conciseness and clarity of the explanation of the various features. Very easy to follow and easily understood. Pretty cool that you now own a GTR of your own. Keep up the good work.

    I have for a year an Ecutek dongle laying around. A good video would be the very first beginnings, I mean really for rookies explanation. Like does the Ecutek has to be in the OBD port all the time for using the various maps and so on. You can't imagine how many people don't know about it. And of course a video with all the prices from canned tunes to dyno tunes would be perfect and would give alot of transparancy for the future costumer.
    Thanks a bunch 😁🙏🏽

    I love love love the ethanol content readout. Does the launch control change save, or does it go back to default rpm?

  • @gteturbosupramk3
    @gteturbosupramk3 3 ปีที่แล้ว +12

    Cliffs:
    To alter max boost (3:20 in the video)
    With the cruise off, toggle up or down the res/set switch on the steering wheel to change the target boost value on the infotainment screen's boost gauge
    To view the ethanol content (5:20 in the video)
    With the cruise off, press and hold the cancel button on the steering wheel and watch the infotainment screens coolant temperature gauge change to reflect the ethanol percentage as the temperature degree value
    To switch maps (6:10 in the video)
    With the cruise off, press and hold the cancel button on the steering wheel and toggle up or down the res/set button on the steering wheel while watching the tachometer needle jump to different rpm numerical values (8 is valet mode for this tuner) and after choosing the rpm value for the map you want, press the cancel button again to confirm the map selection
    To configure launch control rpm (8:15 on the video)
    Step on the brake and gas pedals to initiate launch control mode and while doing that, then toggle up or down the res/set switch on the steering wheel to adjust the launch control rpm in 100 rpm increments
    To enable rolling boost/antilag (9:35 in the video)
    With cruise control on (which disables the functionality of the switch that changes the boost control setting) go to the speed you want antilag to be active at and press/toggle the set switch on the steering wheel to set that speed for activating antilag, then floor the gas pedal at that speed you chose previously (which will make a lot of noise while spooling the turbos) and when spooled, press the cancel button to take off out of antilag like a rocket
    I hope this helps :) and thanks for the video BCP

    Hi, I have an Alpha GTR on ECUTEK, pushing 1600 Whp. I tried to do rolling boost feature, but didn't work. Do I need to turn the traction control off first ? Please write me an explanation on how to do it. Excited to try it.

    If you’re in cruise and it’s Set because you’re driving long distance, does the ECU with ECUTEK on it assume you’re always in rolling anti lag? The reason I ask is a lot of times with my current car, if I’m in set cruise and I just want to pass, I’ll either accelerate some or all the way and pass or whatever and then get off the accelerator and let it drop back down to the set cruise. With ECUTEK on a GTR, this wouldn’t be possible, right? Or is there a set throttle % that it needs to see before it assumes you want rolling anti lag?

    • @rsc8841

      Yes, EcuTek traction takes over which you can also adjust based on slip.

    So if my gtr came with a flex fuel kit, and 2 maps, it is safe to assume the 2nd map is set for e85 right? Any help from anybody would be greatly appreciated thank you in advance

    • @boostcontrolledperformance1523
      @boostcontrolledperformance1523  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It would not be safe to assume that. It would be best to find out who the previous tuner or builder was and if you cannot, it would be best to have the car retuned!

    What would a "stage 1 car" be?

    • @boostcontrolledperformance1523

      Pretty much just a tune and intakes with no other mods.

    • @rmp5s

      @@boostcontrolledperformance1523 Got ya. Then, I guess "stage 2" would be that with an exhaust and "stage 3" would be all that with downpipes and a tune?

    • @boostcontrolledperformance1523
      @boostcontrolledperformance1523  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rmp5s Generally 'Stage 2' is added downpipes and 'Stage 3" adds injectors. Stages are an easy way to reference simple mods but it isn't always such that "one size fits all".

    • @boostcontrolledperformance1523
