To add even more power to an already extremely fast car my advice to you is investing in a radar detector especially when merging onto the interstate 😁
Thanks! It's getting there. Wait till you see the next video! This one was only running the tune on the low boost setting. Didn't know it had 4 boost settings!
So, I've spent the past hour watching your videos and I must say, I will definitely be buying a GTR this summer. I love how every single pull you make, a grin pops up on your face. Lol
If you want some additional power, Tim Bailey is a great Cobb tuner. He tuned mine for 93 pump and it was night and day over the shelf stage 2 tune. I just bought a GotBoost flex fuel kit w/ Visconti basket and catless downpipes. This will be my winter project 👍
Remaps installed via the access port take a while to 'learn' the car and therefore take a bit of time to fully take effect. That's why you couldn't feel anything to start with! :)
Wow!!! That power Mod makes your car very fast love the turbo engine!! I love your car!!! I love Toyota and Nissan!!! Y'all should do a review on the 2019 Nissan Altima when it comes out. I can't wait for y'all next video.
pre 2017 GTR's just feel different. I like the interior of 2017+. But the sound and just general vibe the car gives during acceleration is just is so much better. Am I right or talking shit?
Nice upgrade, I have one on mine and also self tune it with the excellent Access Tuner Race software. I hope you know you just voided your Warranty, if you had one. Nissan will not cover any engine or transmission issues, but they might cover any other issue.
Interesting he couldnt tell but he was holding the torque better after tune he was kept back in his seat where as in upper gears before tune he really wasnt, his turbo(or turbos i don't know much about a GTR I'm assuming its a twin turbo) sounds good
Not sure. Depends on your tuner I guess if they are still able to load full stage 3 maps. I loved how easy it was to use. But if the stage 1 tune is all you can do, probably better off going ECUtek
Remember. You gotta let the DAM multiplier reach the target before getting the full potential from the tune. Takes a few miles to read and make sure there is no knock at different throttle positions
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I always left the DAM reading up on the gauge cluster. In case it drops. Then you know to look for loose heat shields causing false knock readings etc
All in rc's On Cobb’s website they have a whole list of cars you can use it on. I’m pretty sure they only make them for turbo cars. I bought this directly from AAM Competition
I think you'll have much more noticeable differences once you go down the remote tuning path. Off the shelf = meant to play it safe. Sadly it's just too easy to get used to the additional power, then you want more. Once you're "done" for a while, switch back to the stock map, then drive it, then you'll see! (atleast that's how it was with my money pit wrx
We have pretty much the same setup I went with AAM competition Sports Cat-Back exhaust with the Cobb BSF intake and tune. Are you planning on going E85?
I bought my Cobb accessport for my Gtr and I thought that I would be able to use the stage 2 off the shelf map but there’s only a stage 1 tune available is there anyway for me to get the stage 2 off the shelf map somewhere?
Doing a before and after test via a simple drive is not a reliable comparable, especially in an already rapid vehicle. You must do a rolling road test to determine if that little mod achieved anything.
Upgraded midpipe removes 2 cats and a muffler. A tune can generate more power with the new intakes and midpipe over the stock parts because of the better flow.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed better flow is great but not 50hp great. Whenever a boosted car is tuned for these mods they always add timing and boost. Thats where most of ur gains come from....yes u make more gains when it can breath better, but if u dont add any boost.or timing ur will gain 20hp, 30 if ur lucky. Do a stock log and a tune log and check.timing boost and fueling. Trust me, it will be different
So how much are you making it total? Because earlier you said a total of 520? Isn’t a stock 2014 making 545 whp? So shouldn’t it be like around 600 mark? Of did I hear wrong in the video bro?
545 is how much the engine makes stock. At the wheels its closer to 430. With this first stage map on high boost, Im probably close to 500 at the wheels. When I add the 3in intakes, it'll be closer to 530. And with downpipes and injectors, probably getting close to 600 WHP
I'd watch more but you say "Thee" for nearly everything when "The" should be used. Drives me nuts. I showed this vid (and others) to a few people and they agreed. Use "the" and "thee" correctly please. You're not the only one doing this.. seems every TH-camr is doing this lately.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed look into the Uniden R3. Best all around and it has GPS and is $200 cheaper than the escort max360

That's what I call rolling with the big dogs!
Cool. I love the upgrades and project you have for this car.
Yeah I'm excited!
Good job. Looks like you can really tell a difference.
Red leather, an awesome exhaust note and now 50 more horsepower. You have it going on Brian!

haha nice! Stage 3 stuff coming soon! Car is epic now!
11:35 "Ooh Meme" Face + Iconic Owen Wilson "Wow" = Something pretty sweet just happened
3 inch intake is a must. I have same mods as yours. Love it.
Sweet! They should arrive this weekend
Love seeing your GTR videos! Keeps me motivated 😁
More fun ones coming!
Can't wait bro!

Awesome! I can only imagine what the 0-60 pull must feel like. Have fun, be safe out there.
Tunes really wake cars up and make them perform better! Can’t wait to see it with the upcoming mods🙌🏽
Oh yeah!
Great video! You look scared low key when you do your pulls😂
I drove a GTR for the first time last week and honestly it’s breath taking

It almost seems like it takes some time to start working after you tune it.
Yeah you need to drive it a little bit so all the sensors re-learn everything
Ahh nice 👍🏼👍🏼
Love the video man. As someone already commented definitely get a radar detector 😂
Brandon Sargent haha yeah!
Superb video. Just picked up a 100% stock 2017 GT-R. Time for a few bolt-on's I reckon

My dream car ! Love your video GTR upgrade ! Next Big Intercooler ? :D
That may come soon. Not sure if it's needed for the stage 3 setup
Do you think it’s a good idea to buy the access port right now?

You can data log a pull then upload it to vdyno to get rough estimate on your numbers
oh thats pretty cool!
are you able to see the HP you are making on that Cobb Accessport. Sorry, I'm new to this lol
GTR powa !
Well that is one good mod for the beast
oh yeah!

Nice! I don't think I'll do E85. Im sure on 93, it'll be fast enough
Why not put big turbos and big fuel injectors?
Would you recommend a full bolt on straight piped exhaust for the gt-r? As well as new intakes? and what are your stances on bigger fuel injectors?
I will be doing all of that!
Why did you choose Cobb over Ecutek? I’m faced with this decision now lol
You should get a vbox. Nothing better to measure upgrades.
I bought my Cobb accessport for my Gtr and I thought that I would be able to use the stage 2 off the shelf map but there’s only a stage 1 tune available is there anyway for me to get the stage 2 off the shelf map somewhere?
Yeah not too sure. But talk with AAM Competition for tuning. They should be able to help you out
And yeah, that system let you work with a Apple computer. Pretty good.
apple is big out there in computers, as people realize windows based systems are too vulnerable and need security updates like every other day
Armytrix exhaust next!
A gtr is my drem car as well
You looked a bit disappointed. I guess you were hoping a lot more from this mod.
Stutz Edward Turns out this was a low boost setting lol. Next video you’ll see, I run high boost. It’s crazy!!
At least for the moment😂💪🔥

Get a VF engineering HEX tune for your brother R8

I'm confused, you unplugged your exhaust?
Doyle The active exhaust has an OBD2 plug that wirelessly connects to a remote so I can activate the valves
