Thanks for posting this video. Saved my Turkey season! Now I just need to get some dowels to fit inside the springs, and over the end cap posts. Turkey hunting regs only allow 2 + 1 in the chamber. Considering the ghost load, I plan to block off 2 tubes and leave room for 1 shell in the 3rd.
Question: Has anyone had any luck getting a replacement mag from IWI so I only have to dowel it one time? It'd be more convenient to just have a "hunting mag" i could swap in completely for hunting.

Any chance the followers will swap out with Benelli/Mossberg/Rem aftermarket options?
1. I'd like to get a high-vis color option for loading/unloading.
2. The IWI followers look like high quality coated aluminum?
3. I'm wondering if the spring could be threaded into the follower, or the follower shortened to fit an additional shell. Maybe with a trimmed end cap post? Im curious if the spring is the ultimate restriction here, or if the followers physically bottom out on the posts (to prevent over compressing the spring).
Although it seems silly to chace 1 more in the tube, in this case it actually translates to 3 more for a total of 20.
I’ve read if some doing exactly that.
And, it worked for them. :))

Does it seem as though the followers could be changed? I'd like to change mine so that I can visually verify, more easily, when the tubes are empty by swapping them out with a colored follower.
This reminds me to get out and finish the break-in rounds on the TS12 👍🏼
How’s your TS12 shooting? I put three more cases of different target loads through mine this morning and MAN was my gas cylinder dirty after!
@@PeaK808 it’s shooting great. Was able to get out and put another 90 rounds of bird shot. 35 rounds of 00. Then patterned for zero with some Hornady Black and 1300 TruBalls. Gotta say my shoulder wasn’t happy. Haven’t had a chance to give it a good clean out yet, but I’m sure it needs it 🤙🏼
Yeah. The piston and whole gas control was caked. Pretty easy to get it clean, thanks to your tips! Odd part is where the gas control meets the piston, it looked like there’s parts of what was an attached gasket on the gas control that seems chewed up. I’m not really sure what’s going on there 🤷🏻♂️
The barrel took a while to get it nice and shiny. Feeling good now that it’s past the “break in”.

@@frostriver4547 hmmm I didn’t notice a gasket or anything in mine when I got into it. Well, the good news is even if there WAS a gasket there that’s now gone, I’m over 2k rounds and it’s still running great😂

@@frostriver4547 hmmm… I don’t remember seeing a gasket (or the remains of one lol). Well, I guess on a comforting note, I have over 2k rounds through mine so if there used to be a gasket and it’s not there anymore, it’s still running great😂😂😂

Can the guide rods at the end be shortened slightly in order for it to hold 5 2 3/4 if the ammo is slightly longer? I have run into ammo that is slightly longer and it will not chamber more than 4 rounds per tube.
Aloha nō my friend! I never thought of modifying the guide rods at the end and have never tried. I don’t think it’s a good idea to do that as when the springs are fully compressed, they fit onto those rods, and maybe by shortening them, you can cause your spring to kink or bend when you’re fully loaded. In my mind, I would try to stick with ammo that is to spec. I too have ran into ammo that’s out of spec on length (such as Rio) which, like you, gives me only 4 rounds per tube.
A lot of people I’ve had conversations with about the TS12 mention about how ammo selective it is, but in truth, there are A LOT of different shells that meet the requirements of 1200fps and 1 1/8 oz, so to me, there are many options to go with.

Is it possible to get an aftermarket or emergency magazine tube set from IWI?
I just picked up a TS12 the other day. I only have a hand full of rounds in it just to try it out, but noticed when I rotate the tube the shells don’t always load. They get stuck halfway inside the tube when trying load onto the carrier. Is this something that will fix itself once I have more rounds into it? I plan to shoot about 200 this weekend.

I’m assuming when a shell gets stuck on the carrier that the bolt release remedies the issue and puts the shell into battery?
Also, are your tubes full when this is happening or is it the last round in the tube?
@@PeaK808 yes sir on the first question. On the second question, full or only one, it will do it. A guy that works at IWI told me to call him Monday and that likely the lifter and carrier need to be adjusted. So I’m going to do that

Just checking in about your TS12; any new developments? Were you able to connect with IWI?
@@PeaK808 I shot about 150 shell threw it Sunday and it did pretty good. Didn’t hang up when rotating the magazine when it had at least 3 shells loaded. It will still do it with one and sometimes two. I have another range day this Sunday where I going to shot another 150-200 and go from there. I’m definitely going to have to have it converted to left hand. The gasses are a little much plus I had a few failures to eject that was probably because I have slightly covering the port
@@PeaK808 so yeah I’m definitely going to have to sent it back in for some work. I can’t go 20 shells without some time of failure to eject and I’m still occasionally getting a failure to feed on tube switches.
Is it possible to mod six tube? Your opinion ?

Do you think IWI will ever sell replacement springs or if an aftermarket will work once the OEM ones wear out?
Hmmmm hard to say; I called IWI to ask for replacement springs as I’m past 3k rounds and I was told the OEM springs are tested to 10k rounds.
I’m going to play around with springs from other sources and see if they’re compatible, I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you!

I noticed that you have the Manticore Arms Curved Buttpad on the TS12... How is it bruh and explain the difference opposed to the stock buttpad ..?

Real quick to answer your question, I really like the buttpad by manticore arms; it’s a lot like the one they make for the X95 in form and function.

What choke tube is that?
Aloha nō! It’s a Tactical Breacher Choke from Carlson’s.
I still can’t figure out how to shoot this thing without destroying my shoulder. The lower 20% of the butt pad is all that makes contact which is not ideal
What kind of loads are you shooting through it?
Manticore arms makes an extended buttpad for it also I put a Carson’s tactical brake on mine it tamed the recoil a lot still bruises my shoulder a bit when I go thru a lotta rounds but it’s part or the shotgun experience IMO lol 🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️
