Your slipper orchids are beautiful. I wish I could have them in my home. They look quite nice on my windowsill but I don’t know. Never had them before I come along and look at yours. Thanks for a lovely video lovely flowers. Hope you’re okay and have a lovely weekend, cold wet windy here very heavy rain and we’ve had floods down the road not too good meant to be frosty Friday and Saturday going down to -2 but we will see catch a very soon❤❤❤😊😊😮😮
Hi Andrea 😍💐 thank you so much for your kind comment, and your time watching! I appreciate you 🫶🏼 maybe you can try with one that you like? The delenatii is an easy one to grow, while very very slow, it does not grow big, doesn't take up much space and with your phals, it might be a nice addition. Just a thought, if you are tempted to try one out 👍🏼 I am doing ok, thank you! It is still warm enough here, very very windy which is a sign that the weather is switching, but at least the temperatures are still warm. I hope that you are safe and far away from the water. Stay warm and cozy and have a wonderful weekend, lovely lady 🫶🏼❤️🌸
Hi Nina, great video. Love all the flowers 💐. I do have a very happy Violaceae that has been putting out new flowers for the last two months. I do like the Golden Peacock's, down to only two. Like very much your collection of orchids in the Ps.
🌸🥷🏼 Bob San, hello you kind and wonderful human being with extra big heart! 😍🙌🏼🤸🏼♀️🥰💐I am so glad that your violacea is doing so well. I am going to enjoy it vicariously through you, because mine is no more. 'only two'.... well, I am certain that you have made someone very very happy with what you have done / made happen! Incredible 🌸🥷🏼 moments like these, I wonder how is it possible that I am blessed with the support from such an amazing person like you 🥹 you get me all in my feels, in a good way 🙏🏼 thank you so very much for that and for so much more that you do for me and the orchids when it comes to support! I truly truly cannot express just how much I appreciate you and thank you 🫶🏼 have yourself a wonderful day 🌸🥷🏼❤️🌸
😍Meine Mona 💐 Servus schöne Frau 🫶🏼 I LOVE mini phals! The little ones that came on the market a few years ago, that are fragrant...wow... I cannot get enough of that fragrance! I can stand in my garden centre and not see them in the display and I can smell them before finding them, by following the scent 😆 J'adore! Thank you so much for taking time out of your evening to have a look see here! I hope your day was beautiful and I wish you a relaxing evening 🫶🏼 don't do anything I wouldn't do 😅❤️🌸
Hi Joe 😍💐 such a huge variety in those sections, it's amazing and hard not to get carried away when looking for the ones we would like to have / source. Spicerianum.... I am telling, you that paph with those blooms, they are so funny looking 😂 I am glad that I still have mine and it is now pushing a bud. Just one, but 🤞🏼 it doesn't blat and then we can have some fun again 😊 thank you so much for watching, Joe! I hope your Saturday is going beautifully for you 🫶🏼❤️🌸
@@NinjaOrchids The spicerianum is also supposed to be a moderately cool growing orchid. Maybe I'll get one in the future. Either the species or a hybrid.
😍HI Shirley 💐 isn't it fun to see all the blooms? I have to say that I am really enjoying putting this series together, while at the same time getting rid of orchids that I feel deserve a better home or, those that I know will not make it through the winter. One more episode to go .... 🥹 TWO buds on delenatii? That is awesome! I do not think that I have seen that before, so thank you ever so much for adding that nugget of intel into the comments. Wow! I now have delenatii goals to strive towards 😆 thank YOU as well for watching! I hope your Friday is going beautifully for you 🫶🏼❤️🌸
Oi Roger 😍💐 É sempre tão bom ver você! Espero que você esteja bem e que seu dia tenha começado bem! Muito obrigado pelo seu apoio 🫶🏼 tenha um ótimo resto de dia ❤️🌸
Hanging out with you can be so dangerous sometimes, as we have similar taste 😂 I absolutely have to have a Podangis! Those blooms won me over in .1 second. I have the tipo form of garciana but I may need an alba also…Thank you so much! This series has been really fun. I like any excuse to see the collection 🌺
🌸🥷🏼 Troy San 😍🙌🏼🤸🏼♀️🥰💐 hello, you wonderful human being! Isn't that Podangis something so eye wateringly beautiful? They remind me of something that came out of the venetian glass blowers. IF I loose this 2.0, I will really be upset, but it is truly a challenging orchid to keep hydrated.... I tried leaving one root in water as it was actively growing, and while that helped for a bit, it failed after a while. Now, I am really attentive to keep the orchid damp while conditions allow and the test will come in winter, again. But, if you can get it... goodness me, it is nothing short of magical for sure! this little fan has grown 4 spikes for me, at the same time. Breathtaking and mind blown. 💥 I appreciate your kind feedback and thank you so much for watching 🌸🥷🏼 Thank you so much for everything 🙏🏼 wishing you a fabYOUlous day ❤️🌸
😍HI Debbie 💐 I have to admit that, I am enjoying putting these together as well. I have as yet to edit more 'leaving the patio videos', so being able to edit with blooms on the screen is certainly a treat for me. Thank you so much for your feedback and letting me know that you are enjoying this series. One more to go 😅 slipper season ahead... maybe in more ways than one 😉 thank you so much for watching 😘❤️🌸
My longest blooming orchid isn't even in the same universe as the others. While an individual bloom might only last 2 weeks, Phrag longifolium has been in bloom continuously for at least three years and, if I don't break the 2 new spikes (like the last newest), it will stay in bloom for at least another year.
Don Miguel 🥰💐 hola jefe! At this is why I am so lucky to have you watching my videos... just one example of many, so thank you so much for adding the name of the phrag which has been blooming for you indefinitely! Wow 😅 how annoying to have snapped a spike, but dang... those other spikes must be going all over the place 😆 really appreciate you for including your phrag in the comments, and thank you so much for watching 🫶🏼 I hope your day is going great for you ❤️🌸
I think I have Prosthechea cochleata var cochleata (had only Prosthechea on the tag in the find corner and it's very yellow) .. Me and thrips can't decide who gets to love it more. xD Has a lovely fragrance with high humidity and lives to bloom and tell the story if it's owner doesn't water it the instant it dries out in its low clay bowl-pot (though it refuses it's fragrance out of spite). Would not mind having more Prosthechea as the new bloom on new growth has offered continues blooming so far. And will keep an eye out for the ones you mentioned. Thank you for sharing.
HI 😍💐 thank YOU so much for watching! And yes, prosthecheas have caught me off guard when it comes to how much they drink, as well. I feel as though I just filled their reservoir 'yesterday' and when I look at them again, the pseudobulbs are starting to tell me a different story. Just filled my reservoirs again today even though the temperatures are dropping. I feel they could do with an IV 😆 I hope that one day you will get to experience the fragrance of your prosthechea 🤞🏼the cochleata denying you a fragrance... I really hope it is not what I call, a fragrance dud when I have something similar happening in my collection. Wishing you a fabYOUlous day 🫶🏼❤️🌸
@@NinjaOrchidsIt's heartwarming to have thirsty plants in our collections and then half heartedly complain to each other. xD To defend it's honor: It only denies me the fragrance if the medium is too dry or the air humidity down and it's sunny. Can't describe the scent anything more than pleasant and sweet. Which is more than I bargained for when I bought that scruffy thrip bitten pile of leaves as I bought it for the shape pseudobulbs. xD
🌸🥷🏼Samurai Nina San, Hi 😍🙌🏼🤸🏼♀️🥰💐 what a shame! BUT, keep a look out for it, because, you never know 🤞🏼 your mom lived in Kenya? How cool is that!?
