I'm sad to hear you're leaving, especially when I just started with my orchids. Your dedication and love will go on. Praying for you and your new direction as I will continue to watch and care for my orchids in your honor. Thank you for everything...❤
I would be a proud mama to any of these. I am just starting my journey with orchids and I listen to you faithfully. I’m only have west facing windows. I am hoping to be successful and treat these babies well.
Hi Dani, I have been keeping my eye out for the Phalaenopsis Schilleriana. I live in a dry desert climate, (high desert) and have been watching your video's for about a year. About 10 years ago, I had a collection of orchids and I struggled! Every video I watch, I understand just a bit more of what went wrong, you give me inspiration to start again. 😊😊Thank you!
Danny thank you so much that you are trying so much to find a way to continue somehow orchids in bloom, since it was my favorite series. I am with Covid and I started watching your very first orchids in bloom. Such a treat! Well I really liked the Cattleya, but here in Greece in flower shops you find only phalaenopsis, cymbidium and lately vandas and dendrobiums mobile type. Cattleyas no, not at all. Thank god we have orchid nurseries and thanks to you I have a schilleriana, a tenuifolia, a bronze maiden, paphs and lately I own 2 tolumnias. You are the best ❤
The Hoku Gem sunspots might be my favorite today. The coconut orchid would have been number one on my wishlist, but this winter I saved a very shriveled maxillaria tenfolia that I found in a back corner of a nursery, and it’s doing beautifully for me- gorgeously plump pseudobulbs. But I am waiting patiently for it to bloom for the first time. It may be a while since it was probably fairly set back, but I’m excited.
Oh I’m so excited! I have a tolumnia Jairak flyer big bang, but it was a very immature, maybe not so healthy specimen when I received it, so it hasn’t bloomed yet. So I’m so happy to see the possible result!! It is growing its first healthy chubby looking fan…so it’s happening soon!
Brassocatleya Hoku Gem (because of frequent blooms) and Schilleriana (classic) are on my wishlist! I like the new series idea. I always love your videos presenting blooming orchids. Perfect videos to watch, calm down and forget for a moment about other things that usually bothers me.
same with Brassocatleya, be it for a different reason .. I really like the vibrant yellow .. the only yellow blooms I have are Dendrobium Lamellatum (which open green and it takes some time to turn yellow) and also it is a tiny plant, so the blooms are usually just a few (like 7 this year) .. :)
Hello Dani I love the Laeliocattleya♡ It is gorgeous. Thank you for bringing back a version of Orchids in bloom. It is so inspiring. I am glad to hear that you will be adding Zygo care, that will help me a lot. I have followed you for years and successfully grown many new types of orchids from using your techniques. Keep up the good work. Michelle
Wanted to share this with you (but you probably already know!) Sedirea japonica is a phal that in my opinion has the best scent of any orchid ever and the flowers are super interesting. If you don't have it... you will love it!
The Schilleriana is just stunning! I have tried this orchid several times now and have killed them all. I have great success with my other orchids, so maybe the Schillerianas I got were sick. Seeing this makes me want to try again. Maybe I'll order from a different nursery... Everything you shared was just beautiful! Thank you!
Hi Danny, thanks for showing us all those orchids! I'm just starting to learn how to cultivate Phalaenopsis, and I love them. But watching your videos I've discovered that there are a lot of other orchids that I whant to have. What is certain is that I wil have some Tolumnias! 🤪
The Schilleriana is SO beautiful! I have to agree-I am not a pink person, but there is something so ethereal about schilleriana's ❤ I'm dying to have one!
I remember watching the video where you first showed the phal ice whisper and isntantly fell in love with its simple elegance. Ever since then I've been keeping an eye out for it when I'm out shopping and yesterday I actually found a single one in my local supermarket!
Love this type of series, gives me ideas for expanding my collection of Orchids. My Maxillaria is loaded with buds this year, I can't wait for the show. 120 Orchids and growing!
Hi Dani. I just bought both the Tolumnias you featured. Bought them from Orchids by Hauserman about 4 months ago. Have not bloomed yet. Love your videos and now I am obsessed with Tolumnias. I need to get the Brassocatelya you featured ♥️♥️♥️
Dani I must say, you have quite a fantastic collection of Orchids! I only have a couple I’ve been growing a few years and you have taught and still teach me so much and make me excited to bring more Orchids into my collection. I’ve mostly only collected tropicals but I’m really loving my Orchids 💛 I have a new one arriving tomorrow actually 🥲😍
Phaelenopsis schilleriana is my favorite. Mine is about 3 years old and obtained as a seedling. This year first time flowering with 4 flowers. Mine lightly fragrant in morning. Thank you for sharing highly recommended orchids. I love them all. 💚🇨🇦
I really like the idea of this series as someone who's just getting into orchids. I really like the sound and look of 9 and 10 so I might have to keep an eye out!
I have the Brassavola yellow bird and she's bloomed for me twice so far and the fragrance is awesome. I also have the Phalaenopsis schilleriana seedling and stuartiana, both are in my Ikea Detolf and bloomed, I opened it daily just for the fragrance (intoxicating to me). Wishlist now: Paraphalaenopsis labukensis, since the first time you showed her I needed to have it in my collection. I also want to try the Maxillaria tenuifolia. I will definitely have to watch your tutorials on these as well because ALL of your tutorials has helped my orchids greatly and I see the results. Most are in repotme mixes but the newer ones are in sphagnum moss and doing very well as I have several that are in spike now. Thanks for your content and sharing. You are Awesome!!
Hi Danny, First of all, thank you for this video. I have really missed your 'What's in Bloom' videos. The Phalaenopsis Penang Girl x violacea and the Tolumnias are going on my orchid wishlist immediately. Also, I'm so glad that you included the Zygo. The fact that it does well with oncidium care gives me a lot of hope. I just purchased my first Zygo, and I'm so excited. Thanks again, Sherrii
Paraphalaenopsis labukensis, for sure. I just recently purchased the bulbophyllum phalaenopsis, which gives me a similar vibe but of course totally different. Number 2 would probably be phalaenopsis schilleriana
I like this series idea! It'll be lovely to see some of what you have in bloom regularly again😊 I have 2 from this list: just bought the Jairak Flyer Gules two months ago, very interested to see how it'll look fowering. (Probably not for a while), and the Schilleriana (EXACTLY as you described, lol, I got a keiki and it's already flowering! Just 7 flowers, but as I was not expecting any for at least a year, it's a delight🥰 The Ice Whisper definitely made it to my wish list, my goodness😍
Beautiful display! I have the Maxillaria Tenufolia; it hasn't bloomed yet but has 3 "spikes" coming from the base of one pseudobulb; I don't know if they are future bulbs or flowers. I'll just wait and see...
I really like this new series because I plan to buy some new orchids soon. Number 1 is on my wish list. I love brassavolas and the spots on this one are beautiful. I like both tolumnias, but #8 is my favorite.
I just got a schilleriana recently, and I have my first bloom! It does smell like roses, and I'm so glad I was able to buy one. It's still small, so I can't wait until it's larger and produces more flowers
Hi Dani!! Can you make a more specific videos? Like top 10 cattleya /phals/Oncidium/ etc to consider in your collection? In my environment and lifestyle, I can only grow cattleyas
Phalaenopsis schilleriana would tempt me to buy a seedling.I like the toothed lips. I couldn't grow any Phalaenopsis until your knowledge gave the magic to do so. I love those mahogany colours too.
I learn a lot from you Dani on every video you post n all your orchids are so gorgeous n I just wish my orchids looked like yours well at least mines are live right
It's so hard to choose just one! The Hoku Gem 'Sunspots' is nice because it flowers regularly, and I LOVE a deep yellow flower...the LC Hsin Buu purple was magical...and I think I have to have the Phal. Penang Girl x violacea!
The violacea definitely made my list. The schillerania is another, I have a mini phal that looks exactly like that one and has a fragrance. It even makes the same branching spikes. The Zygopetalum I have to have just got the color. I love those dark type orchids. I wish I could find blue real blue orchids, that's my ultimate bucket list orchid
Hi Danny, I have the Schillerina and a Tolunia, which I love them both. Now blooms yet, but I'm hopeful! I think you've inspired me to give a Zygo a try!! Your's is so beautiful. Looking forward to the next installment of this series. ❤😊
I've never seen the zygopetalum in flower shops and I live in EU. Or noticed it. Phalaenopsis is easily the most common if you can even find anything else.
Oh shit. I just bought an ice whisper a couple of weeks ago. I saw it in a flower shop window and noticed a leaf was browning and rotting and just had to save it. Didn't know it was special lol
We have we have the White Ice Whisper orchid. It has one spike with like 10 flowers on it. Usually I hone in on green flowers as green is my favorite color and purple is my least favorite so I’m not sure how I gravitated to orchids.
Absolutely stunning I have always loved them but have only ever been successful with Cymbidiums and Dendrobium you for this series will now be trying again with the Phalaenopsis and others .As a pensioner with little funds can you suggest a home made fertilizer
I started to just love tolumnias! Mine, which I've bought like a month ago has 5 flower spikes, so I can't wait to see the flowers! It was sold to me as "Tolumnia hybrid" so I still don't know what colour it is. And I have a question! Are all Phal. schilleriana fragrant? Because mine doesn't smell :( But it is her first flowering so....
My favorite one out of your collection isn't in this video. But it is a thumbnail in your previous recent’s. It's the white phalaenopsis with yellow spots. Currently, I'm on the hunt for something similar, but I'm not having much luck 😅
I found the common description of the coconut orchid is missleading. For some reason they say it's supposed to smell like a coconut cream pie, but I always thought it smells like a freshly opened coconut.
I am getting a tolumnia jairak flyer gules! so nervous! I've watched all your tolumnia vids but I live in a cold climate, relying on humidifiers, heaters and grow lights with a west-facing window.
Hi Dani, please help me. My orchid collection got infested with thrips. They also got to my African violets. I don't want to use chemicals but at this point, I don't know what to do? Thank you very much. loves your videos, and learned a lot from them.
Hi, Dani quite happy to have watched this episode because I happen to buy an orchid without tag/id and it sure is identical to #10 zygopetalum louisendorf and has a mild scent I can not describe. Same color and all. Can I now put a tag as zygopetalum? Thanks .
I have a question for you Dani 😮what did I do wrong with my phal ? I repotted a while ago n I’ve done everything I suppose to but I looked at last night to see if they needed watering one looks good n my white one had crown rot it looks like yellow n black hole but the leaves were green it only had 2 leaves left but I never got water in the crown I made sure of it 😢 I guess I’m good at this

Hi Dannie, My name is Aadila from South Africa Johannesburg. Love your videos. I'm a beginner and only have phals, I would like to know which other orchid I can buy that it easy to grow and has a good show. Thanks
Hi Dani! So based on your other video recommendations, now that my Phalaenopsis Schilleriana has finished blooming I should cut off/down the spike? Please let me know. Thank you!
My favorite was tough to pick they're all so gorgeous but I loved the Phal Schilleriana Telegram didn't work until next day I needed a code and your link was gone in the replies for the grow lights can you please send it again to me.
Hi, please do not engage with that, those are scammers! I will never ask anyone to contact me through those platforms, or just out of the blue! Winners will always be made publuc by me in a video or community post. I am deleting all scam comments as much as I can but some will slip through the cracks, please do not ever respond and stay safe! 🧡
Hi, most probably it's botrytis. There's nothing to do for the affected flowers, they might wilt faster, but it will not affect the orchid. To prevent this just make sure you don't spray water on flowers and just keep them dry. It's also a good idea not to spray water on the leaves, homes don't have wind to help it evaporate fast and it can lead to rot. Hope this helps!
I liked the Zygopetalum 😍
That purple orchid in the intro...to die for! OMG
I'm sad to hear you're leaving, especially when I just started with my orchids. Your dedication and love will go on. Praying for you and your new direction as I will continue to watch and care for my orchids in your honor. Thank you for everything...❤
The ice whisperer makes a beautiful flowers for a wedding .The cattleya also would makes a beautiful flowers for a wedding.😮
I can't choice........they all beautiful ❤
I would be a proud mama to any of these. I am just starting my journey with orchids and I listen to you faithfully. I’m only have west facing windows. I am hoping to be successful and treat these babies well.
Phalaenopsis Schilleriana has won me over. The flowers are so beautiful but the leaves! I just love the big, beautiful patterned leaves 😍
Thanks! I love your channel. You are personally responsible for my orchid hobby!
Hi Dani, I have been keeping my eye out for the Phalaenopsis Schilleriana. I live in a dry desert climate, (high desert) and have been watching your video's for about a year. Ugh! The Ice Whisper Phalaenopsis makes me want to get married. 😩
The Paraphalaenopsis was my fave
The Paraphalaenopsis labukensis's flowers literally looks like an eagle swooping down on a lobster....wonderful!
The Hoku Gem sunspots might be my favorite today.

That paraphalainopsis labukensis has such interesting looking flowers. I am intrigued!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful collection.
Gosh darn it your content is soooo amazing!!!
Imagine that- so many purple orchids on your list of favs!! 🤷♂️😉 They’re gorgeous; thanks for sharing. Super excited about this series!
Phalaenopsis Ice Orchid.. got it, thank you so much for passing along the name -- I've been in search of this one for a while. Sooo on my wishlist. ❤
The Ice Whisperer and the last one were my favorites.
I loved both Tolumnias and the Brasocattlea Sunspot.💓💓💛

I like this new video format! Zygo orchids are my favourite, glad they made a comeback in your collection, looking forward to your tutorial on them.
Schllineria , my favorite/beautiful, fragrant with abundant flowers.
The Schilleriana is just stunning! I have tried this orchid several times now and have killed them all. I have great success with my other orchids, so maybe the Schillerianas I got were sick. The Schilleriana may be in my future... runner up is the brassiocattleya sunspot because it sounds so vigorous and jolly
I remember watching the video where you first showed the phal ice whisper and isntantly fell in love with its simple elegance. Ever since then I've been keeping an eye out for it when I'm out shopping and yesterday I actually found a single one in my local supermarket!

I buy a Maxillaria Meleagris recently. I'm really impatient to saw it bloom!

I really like the idea of this series as someone who's just getting into orchids. I really like the sound and look of 9 and 10 so I might have to keep an eye out!

I like this series (I was missing Orchids in Bloom). The Hook Gem Sunspots is on my list.
I have the vanilla orchid on top of my wishlist. It's difficult to get one here in India in a very affordable price. Still looking for one....

pinks and a royal purple cattelya are on my wish list.
I will try the Brassocattleya. I have been nervous about cattleyas, but that is so beautiful!
I find cattleyas to be more vigorous than my other orchid types- fun to watch all their development and growth- give them a try.
Phalanopsis is the only kind of orchid available anywhere around here
It's a good thing that it's my favorite.
All other types must be mail ordered
Can you do a video on orchids that are frequent bloomer? Thank you
Hi Danny, I have the Schillerina and a Tolunia, which I love them both. Now blooms yet, but I'm hopeful! I think you've inspired me to give a Zygo a try!! Your's is so beautiful. Looking forward to the next installment of this series. ❤😊

I love zygopetalums 💖
I'd give max ten if I could find it. Alas, where I live, I'm at the mercy of big box or grocery stores for my choices. Which are: phal or phal.

Hi, just found your channel. I bought an orchid but the petals now have blight or fungus(not sure), can you advise how to treat it? Thanks!
@@MissOrchidGirl Thank you so much!
