Hi! 😍💐 Thank YOU so so much for your kind and positive feedback! I truly appreciate you letting me know and the time you took to watch. I hope you are having a great weekend 🫶🏼❤️🌸
Very interesting video...questions that are often asked! 😅 Sorry with the late watch, but was sidetracked by Golf, president's cup. 😊 I usually don't watch but several shots grabbed my attention!! Scheffler out of the sand trap was..😮!!! Good game all around. ⛳️ Finally got aound to cleaning up and reorganizing my Orchid case. My Wild Willy is blooming again. 😍 and my Motes Pixie dusts. 😀 Hope your weekend was enjoyable and restful. If those words are in your vocabulary..😂😂😂 🐦🔥
🦤🦅😍 My turn to apologize! Sorry for the late reply... the blame also goes to President's Cup because I went to bed and did not see the whole thing unfold. It was pretty clear that the US would win again, but I wanted to watch the whole thing unfold and just see how and by how much. It was a brilliant 3 day watch, indeed! Some amazing golf 😱👍🏼 watch them change the participants and make it mixed with the top ladies joining for the next one, and the Internationals win for the first time after loosing the last 10?! The men will never live it down as in: they needed help from the women to get the job done 😬😆 oops! I shall skip congratulating you on the Wild Willy blooms because.... 😳🫣 Happy that YT allowed the comment 🤪😂 so congrats to Pixie Dust! AGAIN! And thank you so much for being here, for watching. My weekend was super busy processing all the media that came out of pots of the orchids that I am letting go. I did not have water last weekend, so it was a mess waiting for the weekend to get the job done. Phew! My kitchen counters are clear of the clutter and the household is pleased 😆 hope your day is going well, Wingman 🫶🏼❤️🌸
😍 Meine Mona 💐 einen wunderschönen Guten Abend wünsch ich dir! Thank YOU so much for taking time out of your relaxing session (at least I hope you are already in feet up position🤗) several days later, and I still have her in bloom. I am thinking, though, that I may take her out of the pot and pot her lower than she is now. This way, the growths in the next year won't have roots exposed for too long. Bury the rhizome... so, she may just get disturbed again. Thank you so very much for watching, I appreciate you 🙏🏼 have a wonderful cozy rest of your evening 🫶🏼❤️🌸
Thank you so much for all the helpful information you include, Nina! I definitely give you credit for teaching me about awaiting root growth before repotting, which has helped so much with my Cattleyas and Dendrobiums in particular. It's really been a game changer for my understanding of repotting. ❤
😍Denise, hi 💐 oh my goodness! This comment was withheld from YT until now and it is from several days ago by the looks of it 😱 I am so sorry! either google didn't 'show' it to me, or I missed it! Either way, I am so sorry for this late reply 🙏🏼 I appreciate your feedback on the results you are seeing based on what you hear in my videos. I am so so happy to read comments like these, because it is so tough to 'trust' someone with your babies, that you do not know from Adam. I get it, understand it and appreciate that many would not risk doing anything different just because they saw it on YT. So, your trust in what I say / recommend and then experience positive results because of the changes you made, that is amazing 🙏🏼 I am so so happy! Again, apologies for the late reply... BUT, I get to wish you a wonderful start to the new week and hope that your Monday is already working in your favor 🫶🏼❤️🌸
@NinjaOrchids Yes, I used to repot my dendrobiums and cattleya orchids as soon as they arrived from the nursery to get them into my preferred growth medium 😔. Little did I know that this could do more harm than good when existing roots died off (as some cattleya and dendrobium orchids are prone to dumping older roots post repot) without new incoming roots that would adapt to the entirely new environment in the pot. It seems so obvious now, but at the time, I had no clue until I saw it in your videos 😆. I also know how not to set back my precious species cattleyas which I acquired with no prior experience in looking after Cattleya orchids 😑. Thank you so much for sharing your growing experience and tips. It's really helped me to stop killing my dendrobiums and cattleya orchids 😆.
🌸🥷🏼Direcotr Jose San 😍🙌🏼🤸🏼♀️🥰💐hola gran amigo mio! Espero que tu domingo esta un día maravilloso 🙏🏼 really appreciate you watching, thank you, really appreciate your kind feedback, thank you and really really appreciate your amazing support for the orchids and myself, especially as un amigo mio 🙏🏼🫶🏼 hope you are having a wonderful wonderful day ❤️🌸
sometimes repotting when an orchid is in spike is inevitable. I had to do Phrag longifolium twice just because she won't stop blooming. Didn't hurt her. Sometimes a Zygo needs a repot and that new growth is pushing new roots at the same time the spike emerges and that is literally the only time to repot it if you don't want to kill it, so you have to.
Don Miguel 🥰💐 100% agree! I have several more repots I want to get done, but I do not have new roots... I also do not want to carry a broken pot over into the winter and my Pastoral Innocence grew 3 new growths since spring, its a tight squeeze in that pot. Methinks, I am going to risk it 🫣 vamos a ver! I think I am going to toss my remaining Zygos. I am kinda done with orchids that struggle through my dry summers, when they would rather be 10º cooler to cope. I left them inside this summer, but yeah... I am kinda done. After my big burn day, I have plenty of singed orchids to look that, which handle my conditions much much better, no matter the time of year... I have enough burn't leaves challenging my eyes, I am kinda done with those that cannot cope either way. Not ready to pull the plug just yet, but I am percolating with the thought 😬 hope your day is going fabYOUlously for you! Thank you so much for watching, my friend! I truly appreciate you 🫶🏼❤️🌸
FFF 😍🙌🏼🤸🏼♀️🥰💐 good afternoon, meine liebe Freundin! Thank you 🙏🏼 so much 🙏🏼 for taking a moment out of your, hopefully SUNday, to watch this video, for your positive feedback, I really appreciate your support 😘 wishing you a wonderful rest of your day and that some well deserved R&R is part of the plan! 🫶🏼❤️🌸
After making a cake recently (which has an overlaping expanding vertical sleeve to remove the cake easier), I was wondering why pot makers aren't making these too.
HI Sylvia 😍💐 well, that is something that could be a wonderful investment into a product which many would consider very very useful! Amazing! With half a million dollars to spare, it is definitely an idea worth pursuing. I love it! I mean, alternatively we could line the pots with a plastic bag and cut the excess off, but that isn't as aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I think it is an inspired idea and if I had that kind of money lying around, I would definitely explore it further. I hope you are having a wonderful day and thank you so so much for watching, lovely lady 🫶🏼 ❤️🌸
😍Meine Mona 💐 servus schöne Frau🫶🏼 do you happen to have 500K lying around that you do not know what to do with? 😅😬😆 I would market it on my channel because I live in hope that one day, I will have a massive reach to make it worth your while 😅 thank you so much for watching!! I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday 🫶🏼❤️🌸
The only time I will pot my orchids if they’re in flower if they are in full flower otherwise you lose the birds or maybe if I have to very good example of your orchid you got there roots are too close to the edge of the pot. I’ve got one growing at the moment, but it’s just coming out in flower so I should leave it for now until the flowers died back and do it then.
😍HI Andrea 💐 so happy to hear that you have another orchid with blooms on the way! Fantastico, lovely lady! Thank you so much for watching 🙏🏼 hope your Saturday was cozy and a relaxing one. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend as well 🫶🏼❤️🌸
I'm hoping my two new Psychopsis don't make flower spikes until after I'm able to repot them, but one has a growth that kind of looks like it could be one...
😍Hi Joe💐 I hope your timing will be according to your wishes, so for once, I will keep my fingers crossed that you are not growing a spike (sounds weird to say that 😅) instead, I hope that it is a new growth and with that, you won't have to repot an orchid with a spike. Everything to make our orchid growing journey easier... I am here for it! I appreciate that you are here with your time and support 🫶🏼 thank you so so much! Wishing you a fabYOUlous Sunday, Joe ❤️🌸

@@NinjaOrchids After watering today, it looks to be more of a new growth. I have to be really careful not to get water on it.
