- At Alpine Volks Fair in Helen GA this year, we came across Serg and his crazy Scirocoo Build! 8 years ago he decided it'd be a great idea to put a 2.7T Audi S4 Engine into his MK2 Scirocco, and It also retains quattro! After all these years his car still runs and drives great!

Saw this car and met Serg at the final Cincy last year. Had no idea the car existed and when I saw it my jaw hit the floor. Very cool guy and an incredible build.
This has to be one of the coolest dudes to ever grace this channel. Optimistic, "I will do it my Way" attitude. Gotta Love it!!!
Taking the motor from a B5 S4 is brilliant. Most of those S4’s aren’t long for this world and putting that power plant into an exponentially lighter platform must be amazing

This build is insane..seen it at the last Cincy and then this past weekend at AVF. Happy to share the show field with this legendary Scirocco. As a fellow Rocco owner... yes we are a weird and often looked over bunch..So i'm glad to see this car get some DAP luv!
First time I saw this car locally I expected it to make all kinds of fun noises when it started up to leave, it was surprisingly quiet because I never heard it leave. Super awesome clean build
The North America spec bumpers are outrageous 😂
I've had both Sciroccos and Corrados, and I love this. I don't believe you have to "respect all builds", but I do respect this one.
This is my dream build combo. I had an 81 Scirocco years ago and more recently a B6 A4 and always imagined what a cool combo they would make. Well done on a major league project!

I use hockey pucks for mounts all the time, hasn't let me down yet!

From across the pond, have always loved the scirocco shape we where lucky and got the new model in 2008. Got my dream car 4 months ago the scirocco r 2016 plate 280whp from the factory. As always great content.

Awesome car and mods. I can't speak for others but our 01 2.7T was bullet proof with minimal maintenance until the transmission died at 250k +

A dream car of mine is to made a Beetle Dune an Alltrack, the way it should have been done at the factory. This Scirocco is awesome. I owned a 16v Scirocco in the early 1990's.

This this thing is disgusting, this guy is nuts, and I love it.
It's a "Franken Scirocco"... Nice build. Clearly wasn't easy and certainly not refined like some of the other VW builds out there, but it's pretty damn sweet! Quattro in an early Scirocco. That in itself would be worth all that work.
My only concern with it is that it seems so "Rube Goldberg'd" that safety is suspect, but what the hell... You only live once, so why not have some fun.
Why to people say that the AGB engine is unreliable? I ran a stock engine with near 500hp for years with no issues apart from the drivetrain, and they don’t have a history of being unreliable so I’m not sure where that came from?

Id say 4.2 v8s are way less reliable. Its funny though. B5 guys do vr6 swaps. And u do a 2.7t, lol. My girls had a 01 b5 for 12 yrs maintained by me. In valentines day last yr a Ahole ran his stop sign and totaled it, RIP. She was fine thank god. It had 228k original clutch and turbos. She doesnt have as much fun as me. But i was getting ready for a clutch / turbo upgrade. Saved me 25k i guess. 2.7ts are actually very strong long lasting motors. People do big turbo upgrades past 200k miles. I still have my 01 b5 a4. Now a stroker. On jack stands. . The audi life i got the same 4:1 mod on my B5 A4, hope that helps me too
I saw a b5 with 4.0tt conversation. Lots of smart people out there. With smarts, MONEY, and time. Nearly any thing us possible. Like stuffing a tank engine... or was it air plane? In a crown vic. Google it.

Hey TH-cam family, I have a 2010 Tiguan Wolfsburg edition. Just swaped the engine with another 2.0 4 cylinder TSI. Changed the plugs and coils. Runs smooth at idle and driving city. When I get on the highway, it starts to misfire around 55-65 mph. Should I change MAF SENSOR ? Or should I just replace the entire intake plus MAF SENSOR ?

Would snapping a bolt on oil cooler cause oil in coolant? It’s 2015 s3
Recently changed it due to oil in my coolant
But still have a ring of oil daily in my expansion tank

Yeah, nobody did that because is THE WORST platform which anybody could choose for that swap, making an ALREADY very understeering platform to even understeer MUCH MORE, having no rear (at all) and HUGE WEIGHT in the front of the front axle ..
