I like this guy. Honest about putting in the work and attempting to get results. Calling dealerships with part numbers! That alone made me smile. Also being honest about the glam about running a business like this. Much respect and as always, amazing video!
I was just at a meet with my r32 this weekend and some girls found out it was auto and immediately thought it was disgusting and worthless, but people like you make me happy about the car❤️
@@thenoodle7171 I just got mine back from cali, 4k trip, not the first time, I’m at 197k, this thing is trooping no lights on the dash, I’ve never owned a car this solid it’s gone through everything with me it feels like
That's why I love my MK5 GTI. Not an R32 but still an MK5. It's got a Swapped MK6 Golf R engine, has the CTS Big Turbo FSI kit with Precision 5858 turbo, RS4 Injectors, Torqbyte PM4, TT-RS LPFP, Snow Perf Stage 2 W/M, kit and custom tuned, and Southbend Stage 3 daily clutch, other mods done to it. It's the garage king. Not driven often. But once I drive it, just bring smiles to the face
Same here, well I don’t think the TB bumper looks that bad but it looks a bit odd. I do love the OEM bumper on my CW MKV R. The overall look of all those Rs in the video is awesome though.
GA is probably the best state for a VW enthusiast. Tons of expert shops, events, and like-minded people. Add to that the great YT content creators like DAP and HM. Wish I had picked up the R32 I saw with under 100k for 10k around 2020, but glad I got my MK7.
Very cool to see this! Big thumbs up! As a HUGE MKV guy myself, I really like seeing this. I don't like the Thunder Bunny front bumper at all and totally agree with it being brittle, but I can appreciate the passion for sure. I like seeing the lines on a car flow and the Thunder Bunny front bumper needs the whole kit in my opinion. The side skirts and rear are beautiful, and flow nicely with the ED30 lip for the Jetta/GTI bumpers. That's what I'll be doing on my Fahrenheit. I totally agree with the passion/magic part. This has encouraged me to get back to my MKV projects.
When I was shopping for my TDI Cup in 2010, it was DSG only. It always felt like the perfect pairing to me and I’ve had ZERO regrets with my choice. 13+ years later, and I still have that car (with the TB body kit, of course).
Great video, always and still want an R32 for my own. Love and miss the VR6 that I once owned. Greatest sounding engine I have ever had the pleasure to own. Great to see people out there keeping them alive.
I thought I was weird! I'm 45 years old, wanted a air cooled Porsche 911 since I was 5. Was close to buying a 911 about 7 years ago before prices sky rocketed and now drive a R32 and love it. Hoping to one day get the 911 but needing an R32 still in my life, it puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it.
Nothing will top the looks, the beauty and the sound of a mk4 r32, one day i will own one, i have a 20th anniversary 6 speed gti tuned and a 2.0 as a daily, i plan to swap in a 2.8 vr6 24v on it sometime in the future
Went so very close to purchasing mkV R32 in 2006, went the GTI instead for ease of tunning and price, had it for 16 years (stage 2+ for the last 11). Love the R32 though, that engine & exhaust noise even in standard configuration was one of the best going round.
Wow in Ga, and the Porsches i saw at the 4WD meet. Is it possible to see some of the R's sometime? Always been my dream car and had a r32 swapped 2003 GLI but the ECU died and i was left high and dry
Those cayennes setup for proper off roading are quite an intriguing proposition. They sell at the Auctions where I live (Australia) for a few thousand, might look at building one and see if there is any interest

There’s a company in the UK making replica thunder bunny front bumpers, the price isn’t bad but shipping to the US is like $1300 so that’s a no go for me
Definitely don't agree with the front bumper comment. Ugly is the only word I'd use to describe it. Still appreciate your passion. I own a k04 mk6 GTI and mk6 R both, but really thinking of adding an mk4 R32 to the stable in the near future.
quick question will you guys be doing the DSG service for the mk8 gti anytime soon? wondering because I have to do mine pretty soon and id like to learn to do it myself since the quote from the dealership is $1200😃
Can you build/make or get the mold to make the Thunder Bunny front bumper? I bet you would have a lot of MK5 R32 customers. Had an MK4 R32 but lost her to a flood in NYC in 2012 😢
I have a Seat Toledo VR5, one of only 71 left in the UK, perhaps a better sound than the VR6, and I've had two of them! Nice to hear somebody in a youtube video mention the forcing of EV crap on the population
I have a 2003 R32 With a blown engine it does crack so nothing seized up, km209,000 on clock interior needs some attention, Don't have the cash to get it rebuilt. Have paperwork of what has been fixed dating all the way back to 2016. If you have any interest I'd be more than happy to answer any questions. Regards Enrico
Thunderbunny bumpers are cool. But the middle grill has always bothered me…it needs to be 30% less tall. Always thought they overkilled it in that sense.
Just listening to someone talk so passionately about mk5's is refreshing. There are literally dozens of just mk5 lovers, and we will be accepted!
we are honestly superior
Fr I'm gonnakeep buying these cars my whole life lol

It, I’ve still got the mk5 r32 tho and I just got rotiform RSE’s for it

A well sorted DSG is a better box than the manual, three pedal snobs are just that
I bought an r32 a few weeks ago and told one of my friends. When I told her it was an automatic she lost all interest. Crazy

Of all the R32's in this vid, lined up, and in various shots. The Mk4 is the best! Hands down.
I have a mk5 R32 and i love the original bumper. The thunder bunny front end looks horrendous and out of place.
Same here, well I don’t think the TB bumper looks that bad but it looks a bit odd. I do love the OEM bumper on my CW MKV R. The overall look of all those Rs in the video is awesome though.
I just wish the middle of the bumper wasn’t chrome and was painted
So that’s where all the Thunderbunny kits went 😂. Amazing builds!

Even the old stuff. Air Cooled Technologies in Cleveland does some amazing work.
Don't forget the VW/German fests in Helen, GA!
disagree with the front bumper Pov. but love that you're loving the R32s...
Agreed, I love the front Bumper

Fantastic video and showcase. Thunder bunny….swoon!! 🐰♥️ Makes me want to go for some zoomies and tweak my R32 even more now!!

If you ever lose your mind and end up wanting to sell that bumper let me know haha
I would get flamed a lot back in '16 for that DSG take but it's true. I don't need a clutch to prove my manliness.

Happy to see the 8p lurking throughout the video 👍
facts happy to see that as well

The noises. Wow.

This dude is awesome. I just picked up a 2004 Audi TT 3.2 for my fun driver. I also have a scirocco 16v for shows and occasional autoX.
Just Fun Stuff.I’m Blessed to know your enjoying Your Passion! Mine is Model Trains 🚂🚂
This guy should really look into reproducing the thunder bunny bumper, would be game changer for all mk5s
Sometimes, you don’t want to have the same things of everybody. And let’s be honest, if someone reproduce them, everybody will want them.
With 3D scanners getting down in price where sad bois can afford them, it’s only a matter of time
With the bumpers he found he could’ve cast a mold already and had them made with a quality material 💪😭💪💸💸💸
some great cars ,, but this guy has a perfect attitude .
That Audi is still the show stealer though ...

Love this. Incredible builds. Love the Thunder Bunny Bumpers.
I wondered where all the thunderbunny bumpers went i forgot about them being on tdi cups and dieselgate
They all got crushed by the people who traded their cars in.
I got a mk5 R a few months ago. it's super rough cosmetically, 140k miles drives great. would love to have mine looking like one of these

That blue Mk4 is insane
lovely sounding cars. Wish my mk6 sounded remotely close to that.
I prefer the stock MK5 bumper over that Thunder Bunny all day. MKV in black, all stock just with the milltek exhaust is perfection.
the question is from me, did you upgraded the brake booster and master cylinder for the dual caliper setups?
Wow in Ga, and the Porsches i saw at the 4WD meet. Is it possible to see some of the R's sometime? Always been my dream car and had a r32 swapped 2003 GLI but the ECU died and i was left high and dry

Holy shit...the sound of that blue Mk4 😍
Some seriously awesome R32 action! I still think the MK4 is the best design. No offense but I'm not a big fan of Euro tails.
I'm confused, I saw more Autozone than Deutsche Autoparts. I guess autozone has the more reliable parts for this old cars.
Nothing Autozone on these builds. You’re confusing them with your cars.
imagine.. the bench s booked out for two yearssss!!😮 😂
