Craig should be in the HoF. The first double thousand running back. First man to score 3 TDs in a Super Bowl. Dangerous, all purpose back.
PREACH!!!
He reinvented the position and got 0 credit.
Mr. Craig was a pure DAWG!! Much respect. Def HOF-ish!!!! 💯
Y'all probably font care 😂😂 but this is my cousin
Got a lot of help from fellow Husker Tom Rathman. Without those two there wouldn't have been a 49er dynasty.
Played with him from grade school through high school. Best running back and human being I've ever been around, humble and unassuming great individual. HOF...absolutely and overdue.
His son is my friend from high school great family for sure!
I call cap on that sir
@@shugguhsmacks9754I dont care if u dont beleive me but thats my cousin on me he is
Roger Craig was a beast!...I'm from the UK and started watching NFL in my early teems and remember watching him play...what a player. A Total unsung hero of that great 49ers team. What made me sad was that I just watched the documentary Montana " Cool Under Pressure" and they never mentioned him....that was so wrong...the guy was a true great
With fellow Husker Tom Rathman.
One of the all time greats. Changed the game. Always got the job done.
The best player not in the HOF. Should absolutely be in! Unbelievable!!!!!!!
These 5 RB’s in this order should be the next 5 RB’s to be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame no exceptions: Otis (OJ) Anderson, Roger Craig, Corey Dillion, Fred Taylor, Rickey Waters they’ve all waited long enough, end of discussion
he was great on passes, i grew up watching him, so good.
Nebraska Cornhusker fans knew. Craig and Rathman at 49ers was amazing.
👍👍
We still know.
I'm a Broncos fan, and let me tell you I hated watching this guy touch the ball. But I was in awe of him when he ran at the same time. Such a violent and graceful runner, dude was one of the best ever.
If it wasn't Craig running by you it was Rathman running over you. And frequently both.
For sure underrated! I had never even heard of him until today! What a video!!!
My fav RB of all times!
One of the all time greats.
He'd be so good in today's game as well. Definitely a HOF!
Great player and an even better man
Imagine Montana, Rice, and Craig on the same team. They could easily win 3 Super Bowls.
hmm. I think they did
Craig and Joe got three together. They got two with Rice!
That rub against the Rams was power, speed, and agility in one run!! BEAST!!
Uncle Roger Craig was a soldier,yo!😎🤙🍻
Hands of a wide receiver, legs of a running back, shoulders of a safety, feet of a dancer, vision of an eagle. With a V6 twin turbo.

Roger made the WCO work, the most underrated running back in NFL history. I mean he was a fullback like the first 4 or 5 years. 😂
Crying 😢 shame Craig should already have been in the Hof Rip Bill wash
100% agree high stepping Roger Craig belongs in the hall of fame...
Just don't you ever try and knock Terell Davis down, as he was a beast in those short years , if he would've not got injured just imagine
Crazy how versatile he was. You could put him at hb, fb, or even wr and he wouldve been a superstar
RC should absolutely be in the HOF. A spectacular running back and all around leader
The high stepper!
Roger Craig should definitely be I. The hall of fame
Mr. All purpose yards
Just amazing.
I’m a Rams fan who couldn’t stand him. That guy use to abuse my Rams, but he absolutely should’ve been in!! That guy was fearless for real!!
I’ve had 2. L/R knees replaced. In my 30’s trying to run like Craig 33. I was lucky enough to grow up watching them in Candlestick. He should of been in. 1st. Round! He was (Perfection.) He was like a well oiled machine. He was ahead of this time. To this day, no one runs like him. If he were in the NFL now. He’d break records. He has “3” Super Bowl Rings! “3!” I don’t think they let him in because they have liver spots prune faces nasty skin. & they knew his skin wouldn’t crack. & he’d always represent. Beautiful Melanin. We can’t win for losing. Haters. 😏
Underrated!!! Definitely a hall of fame player!!!
Time for him to be in the Hall.
Defense: I'll tackle him solo. Craig: Bet
Back in the days Craig was a Ram killer
awesome baby, simply amazing, beautiful to watch ❤
Awsome
If he isn’t in the HOF they should not have a HOF.. Roger Craig was a game changer and the spark in the 49ers offense for years. He was a scoring threat all over the field and it took 3 guys minimum to bring him down.
Those days........
Pro bowl as fb/hb😮
I love the high step into thr end zone during the Superbowl? Should've ended with tha imo. But I love the video regardless.
Roger Craig should already be a Hof hand picked by the Legendary Bill Wash!!!!
First football player to score three touchdowns in a Superbowl,yo!🏈
Came to this video after the CMC trade.

The HOF voters should be mocked and ridiculed for omitting this guy.
And to think he had to do it against guys like Steve Atwater, LT, and then R. Lott in practice, and have Bill Walsh as the HC,lol....he deserves it!!!!!!!
Now I see some Adrian Peterson....
If Walter Payton & Christian McCafferty had a baby.
How is this guy not in the HOF ?
2024 semifinalist these idiots should finally put him in the difficulty of 1000/1000 club he was FIRST 3 freakin players in history
Unbelievable he's not in the hof! wtf!
Isaiah Pacheco reminds me a lot of Craig. Hard, angry man to bring down.
Not the fastest guy but he had a burst at the line that turned 5 yards into 50 a bunch of times. HUSKER POWER!
Not in the Hall of Fame yet? As they say on sports radio c'mon man
Is there a Ronnie Lott video coming?
Mr. All purpose yards
Real football
#NinerEmpire
The run he made at 2:33--anyone know if that was in 1985 or a different year?
1988…it’s the same game as his fantastic run where Taylor and Rice are blocking downfield.
It was Craig’s first year full time at HB instead of FB. Walsh told him after 1987, we would start as the feature back with Rathman at FB. Craig won the Offensive Player of the Year with 1500+ rushing yards and over 500 receiving.
*Footnote: Tales from the San Francisco 49ers Sideline by Roger Craig
#33ShouldBeInTheHOF
KC Chiefs fan here. Roger Craig is one of the reasons why I DO NOT respect the votes for the Hall of Fame. No ufckin' way he should not be in Canton. Total BS!!
Ahead of his time
so you dont' know Jerry Rice?
Beleive me or not hes my cousin
Montana was an average qb who was made great by the firepower around him. Marino would have been in the bowl every year.
WHY IS THIS MAN NOT IN the HALL of FAME ??? PLEASE ANSWER
lol @2:09 that Rams linebacker is yelling at ref and pointing to the offensive lineman standing near the backline of the endzone. 100% ineligible receiver downfield -- its not even close. The fact that the ref is standing there and not calling it is comical.
