I was born in 1967. OJ was my earliest sports hero after Muhammad Ali. I grew up in a very special time to be alive as a sports fan. Boxing was at its peak. Same with football and car racing. Legendary names were just household names to us back then. It was a magical time. The music was at its apex, too.

Watching OJ back in the day, my dad said “it looks like he can score every time he touches the ball. The only other player close was Jim Brown”. I think dad summed it up.
Beautiful! Thanks PockyCandy. I always loved how he dropped the ball after a touchdown, or tossed it to a ref - no showboating - then went to congratulate a teammate. I honestly believe OJ suffers from CTE. He's had violent episodes in his life going back to college days at USC.
OJ Simpson was a great football player in college AND in the NFL. These highlights of him running the ball are spectacular. He had speed, agility, quickness and power.
Damn PockyCandy! You're rolling out these incredible professional running back videos at an unbelievable rate! After digesting the KC Chiefs one I was still enjoying the Colts Eric Dickerson video. This might just be the best one yet!
He was always on his game! He was one of the best in my years! You always worried if you were on the opposing team about what to do with OJ to shut him down in the clutch. Just a fact of life in those days! A much feared player for his scramble abilities. Thanks for the awesome memories OJ!
I was lucky that Buffalo games were shown in Seattle. Watched every one I could until Seattle got their own team in '76. His running style was absolutely mesmerizing.
Juking justice was his greatest move. And it wasn't underrated. Millions of white people are still whining about it today. It was unappreciated by the masses, not underrated.
@Coogan Why are you telling me that? That's what I said in October 95 when he was acquitted. It's just hilarious hearing white people whine about this one case while thousands of whites have walked after murdering Blacks in cold blood
I'm pretty sure they are being sarcastic. The only reason that I was browsing the comments was a bet I made with my son that somebody was going to add WTF is up with the music. It's better than some of the highlight music from today though😑 Besides being a cold-blooded murderer OJ was one hell of an athlete. That is the only thing that fits him like a glove.
I bet the opposition had nightmares of him on the field with that red buffaloe on the helmet , man I bet he was one terrifying sight for a defense .Buffaloe was a force to be reckoned with .
I read a headline that said "Football player OJ Simpson passed away..." and I immediately texted my Pops and wrote: "Calling OJ a 'football player' is like calling Beethoven a 'pianist.'"'

@Born again I usually get disrespectful when people talk s***. But seriously go take a look at O'Jays highlights and then take a look at Barry's highlights. You see that Barry is the elevated version of O'Jays running Style
Keep the comments civil. Someone requested this video a while ago, so here's OJ Simpson's highlights as a Buffalo Bill. The music was taken from Dave Volsky's channel, and the highlights are from assorted "This Week in Pro Football videos." Seems like half of the clips are against the Jets for some reason. Idgaf what color he is. White, black, brown, yellow, etc. He's a murdering piece of shit
@@el34glo59 A full scale investigation? Way to go, Mannix!
He should've received residuals from the orange juice companies in the seventies he was so talked about!
I don't think there's any other back besides Dickerson with that height/build who just glided through them db's the way OJ did
We could possibly argue Gale Sayers
@James Cline agree, but with Jim it was sheer pwr as opposed to finesse
@@carrrexx7190 TOTALLY AGREE, but I'm just spkng from grid iron performance. I recently watched the documentary: OJ, Made in America and if that's not enough evidence, I don't know what is
James Cline OJ broke Jim Brown's single season rushing record in 14 games though.
William Gravely oJ was a beast but has anyone paid attention the that offensive line? They were MAULING Those other teams And when they ran to the right, the left guard was pulling and was as fast as OJ and would pick somebody out and just pile drive them into the ground. I heard that the QB threw for less than 1500 yards in his 2000 yard year. Everybody knew what was coming and it didn’t matter.
Like a more powerful version of Gayle Sayers. Amazing vision and speed. Everyone knew he was getting the ball and they still couldn't stop OJ
Absolutely one-of-a-kind Talent. He was the juice any certainly had the juice!
On a great team he may have ran for 3000 yards in one year instead of two thousand yards for a terrible team that he was on.
very good he does remind me of Gayle Sayers
I said the same thing
@@fulton92503
Sayers was faster.
The Juice was the best pure running back ever.

Yes he did!
With all due respect, people don't know. If you watch the video you may understand.
Look careful. In most of his runs he was behind #67. The great Reggie McKenzie......
good props
Buffalo bills had another great offensive linemen he from Michigan state: joe delamielleure
Darren Rice - and if you look at jim browns runs, he’s behind #66 gene hickerson
Yes Sir
I noticed that
I was born in 1967. OJ was my earliest sports hero after Muhammad Ali. I grew up in a very special time to be alive as a sports fan. Boxing was at its peak. Same with football and car racing. Legendary names were just household names to us back then. It was a magical time. The music was at its apex, too.
ABSOLUTELY 💯
OJ Simpson was the truth back in the day when I was a kid that's all we talked about OJ the juice

Watching OJ back in the day, my dad said “it looks like he can score every time he touches the ball. The only other player close was Jim Brown”. I think dad summed it up.
Not many look like they can score every time they touched the rock.
I agree.

Beautiful! Thanks PockyCandy. I always loved how he dropped the ball after a touchdown, or tossed it to a ref - no showboating - then went to congratulate a teammate. I honestly believe OJ suffers from CTE. He's had violent episodes in his life going back to college days at USC.
Yep. Just like Barry.
I also think he suffers from CTE too.
It would make an interesting defense if true.
I noticed that too... never even spiked the ball once. the players today are all ego.
It amaze me how he could run between the tackles, and make people miss. Great running back of his time period.
Best running back of the 1970s . Perhaps the most entertaining running back ever .
OJ Simpson was a great football player in college AND in the NFL.
These highlights of him running the ball are spectacular. He had speed, agility, quickness and power.
Well said and put my friend!!!
Dewayne White Thanks
He was poetry in cleats and so beautiful to watch.
2003 yds in a,14 Game schedule has to be #1 all time no other RB has averaged 143 ypg in a season
Damn PockyCandy! You're rolling out these incredible professional running back videos at an unbelievable rate! After digesting the KC Chiefs one I was still enjoying the Colts Eric Dickerson video. This might just be the best one yet!
Poetry in motion 😊👍
He was always on his game! He was one of the best in my years! You always worried if you were on the opposing team about what to do with OJ to shut him down in the clutch. Just a fact of life in those days! A much feared player for his scramble abilities. Thanks for the awesome memories OJ!

I was lucky that Buffalo games were shown in Seattle. Watched every one I could until Seattle got their own team in '76. His running style was absolutely mesmerizing.
Easily one of the greastest to ever play the game.
His linemen did a hell of a job opening the gap. He follows his blockers everytime.
Appreciate this ✊ The Juice wasn't no joke. Many have forgotten our legends ✊
The "Juice is Loose!" Greatest RB of them all. May he rest in peace.
The way he juked justice was his most underrated move.

When i was 7ys old, i watched him run for 200yrds IN THE SNOW in Shea stadium to reach 2000yrds in 14gms....simply the best breakaway runner i've ever seen!
My uncle was at that game at Shea stadium to see him go over 2K with my cousin Ruben & Tony. Then in 1985 my uncle took me to watch Herschel Walker rush for 2K in Giant stadium. That was fun to watch. In that game there were 3 Heisman Trophy winners. Herschel Walker, Mike Rosier & Doug Flutie. But Douge was hurt & didn't play in the game but he was on the sidelines.
