It is a good channel isn’t it, the white ITB Miata made me trade my NA Eunos for a 10th anniversary NB that sadly turned out to be a piece of crap. I must have watched those early videos over and over.

What a car too. Haven’t yet ticked an EK9 off my list but the best FWD stuff really can be absolutely spectacular, reckon there are as many FWDs in my top ten as rear-drivers or AWD. Living in Europe we’re lucky to have got a whole host of great models that never made it to the US, too.

Awesome new video. Been wanting decent track video of an EK type R. It would be interesting to apply the same modifications to this engine that were applied to your S2000, such as raising compression and ballade vtec cams with the focus on the primary lobes. I wonder if the owner would be open to that, but then again, there is the issue of keeping an icon like this original and unmolested. Then again....

Nice vid. I am not a fan of fwd but that fwd did not seem too do bad at all. I like to assist with rotation using the rear wheels on a rwd car. The battle was cool though.

Hey man, try get hold of an alfa giulia veloce, it will change your life, best handling car I've driven out of the box, on the road atleast...I've driven the new gr supra, gr yaris, and I've had three rx8's, the giulia's chassis is just magic
People who say “don’t meet your heroes” aren’t true enthusiasts. They were and are only interested in the hype around the car and don’t understand what it is to truly enjoy a car whether it doesn’t live to modern standards of fast or “wow factor” You can tell just by hearing people like him or Matt of Obsessed Garage that they are merely there for the hype. Elitist and people love watching them because they think it’s cool to be like those guys.
Be like Slip Angle not like the others. It’s sad they get so much publicity when there are true drivers and enthusiasts like you or Speed Academy.

can you get a fwd b series honda in the future and do a build on it like the s2k. i know that shit would be a high revving monster around the track
As good as this car was and even Tommy's EG we also tested, after hopping back into my AP1 I was like oh yeah, this is the ultimate VTEC machine

More drivable, but I think my 6MT GenX Civic is faster around the track. Relevant, since you don't need to be a high-end TH-camr, with all the connections, to aquire one...tons of them on the used car market.
