Love the twin tip exhaust with the white paint
Me too!
OEM dust boot for ball joints??? S2000 owner here very jealous...that looks clean af, good job😍
Thanks! It's really a nice design! Wish the S2K arms were easier to service
Nice shirt, Matt. OG 😂
Thanks dude!
Looks good, I also did mine. I used the OEM ball joints and Supercro bushings. It really tighten up the feel of the rear end. I used a sand blaster to clean the suspension parts. Next is the front end for me. Happy New Year guys and keep those vids coming.
Nice! Same here, Fromt is next after the car comes back from fab work
Congrats Mattchu. Also, what is going on with Quinn's red miata. DId you guys put the 13B in it yet?
The engine is in and the fab work is almost done. Should get it back this year!
Is that a Racing Beets exhaust?
Yes! Same one that came off Quinn's Black FD
Did you guys replace the oem bushings on the control arms? I’m getting ready to tackle this job but do not want poly. Wondering if it’s worth replacing with new oem or just leave the originals in..
@@bgarciaink the originals were in good condition so we didn’t replace them. If I had to, I would definitely go with oem and avoid poly.
"Look at all the room we have in here for activities.".......GR Supra activities?
2024 might be the year of White FD and Supra.
Among other things ;)
1:01 Quin mention that double A arm cars are snappy at the limit. Would poly bushings help to not be so snappy at the limit? I need to replace the suspension bushings in my NB Miata. I'm trying to decide if I want SuperPro poly bushings or IL Motorsport rubber bushings.
Anytime you stiffen bushings with poly or spherical you reduce compliance and wasted motion in the suspension and theoretically create a more consistent, predictable handling car. With that said, poly certainly ups NVH on the road. Is it horrible? No, but I would be more apt to entertain a stiffer rubber bushing vs poly. You can dial in snappiness at the limit with a proper alignment, a good amount of less negative camber in the rear vs your front and a little toe in out the back depending on the car.
Thanks. I'll probably get the IL Motorsports bushings then. Also I need to fix my alignment. Last time I aligned the car I used the FM recommendations so for camber I am -1.0 front and -1.5 rear.
God I love fd's
We do too!! Gorgeous cars!
