@@fart_cannon ya, same. because of the new swap. I ended up getting a 3 inch "exhaust kit" from speedfactory and a greddy ti burnt tip muffler; then had someone weld it up. You should look them up.
The Integra is a perfect lightweight NA car IMO. Not much over a ton and up to 200bhp from the factory on a good example. My other car is a BMW 328i, makes about the same power despite having a thousand CC more displacement! Silky smooth 6 cylinder though.
Spec 2's never sound nice just driving away or at idle or blipping the throttle BUT They sound incredible when a honda flies by on the racetrack fitted with a Spec II :D - Love it
Best car ever my dad had one 2000 Honda integra Type R dc2 same as this these had the red racaro two front racing seat stunning and for 1.8ltr back then 230bhp standard for a front wheel drive they where crazy fast and if you tuned them up the engines are built To be thrashed so you didn’t need to buy stage 2 or 3 this that this and the cheap turbos of eBay my mate has had one in his 07 Civic type R for about a year and it’s never went wrong just adding the turbo increases the BHP seriously the front end on these cars are stunning looking if I ever get a new car will be one of these or a Toyota Celica

I don't think that was a slow shift to 2nd at all, listen to it? It was losing grip though for sure and he prolonged 1st gear. Plus its UKDM which is a little tamer than the real DC2....
i love my good old 325i E36 coupe for that matter.. i think they're the best sounding bmw's as opposed to the newer generation that are pretty aseptisized imo.. bythe way , the 0 to 60 is kinda fucked up cos it's down hill ! think about it the next time.. you need a good flat road to do that shit

I don't blame people for not liking the exhaust at least. It literally sounds like a fart cannon. It's a nice car, but it a needs a better exhaust. I have a Yonaka on my Miata. It gets decently loud, but it's not raspy as shit and has a good tone.
The last line explains it then. You do understand that a hydrocarbon combustion reaction produces H2O don't you? And under the right conditions you're going to see it as steam? This car had no cat, barely a silencer. You probably haven't noticed that on a turbo car as the gases come out a lot cooler. (Judging by the 4G63 user ID - I'm guessing you like a turbo)
I use to watch this clip over and over in my 20s when I was building my Integra. I'm 33 now and it currently has a k20a2. :)

yeah the road had to be slightly downhill so the video would work.. the 0-60 is just something I threw in post production.
Going to take mine out for a good drive today , UK weather today fine and dry, great cars, 157000 miles, 10 years of ownership and never gone wrong!

Slow shift into second. A tuned integra with breathing mods can run this in about 5.2-5.4. Quick car all the same. Nice!

You can't tell, I think all DC2 Type R's sit slightly under half way on the temperature gauge
could be cold weather to, even if my car is heated up properly when its cold out it smokes a little
VTEC won't hit unless the engines warmed up

Actually it is a B18C6 with a B18c exhaust manifold, so effectively it is a B18c.
The b18c6 and b18c type r have different cams so they're not the same.
