Finally finished this video! Ugh, this took longer than I hoped, but at least I got it out before season seven of Voltron: Legendary Defender. I had to keep adding stuff to it because more stuff kept coming out to do with season seven! The first episode of season seven already premiered at San Diego Comic Con. It's called "A Little Adventure" and it features Coran, Romelle, and all the Paladins except for Allura and Keith going to find a Yelmore. Along with that there are flashbacks to the Galaxy Garrison focusing on how Keith and Shiro met. We also get to meet Shiro's ex-boyfriend, Adam! Adam and Shiro will likely be seeing each other back on Earth this season. Turns out Keith had a rival that wasn't Lance back at the Garrison, his name is James. He's another character we'll be seeing on Earth in the upcoming season. Sendak and his forces have already made it to Earth. Destruction has occurred by the time the Paladins get there. The Goddess of the Universe from Beast King GoLion might make a return. Keith and his Space Wolf get to fight together in a cave. This season is going to be even more emotional and angsty than season six! So to contrast it, there will be a gameshow episode called "The Feud" and it's a parody of Family Feud. And sadly this is the second-to-last season of the show! It'll be thirteen episodes long.

As of right now, this seems to be the case though. The showrunners were recently interviewed on Hypable, and they implied they have both moved on. I guess we'll know for sure in a few days.

Reading all of JDS & LM's comments, I really doubt Shiro and Adam will get back together. LM made it sound like they're both done
Adam didn't feel like he was being respected and that Shiro didn't care. Shiro felt like Adam wasn't supportive, knowing that this could be Shiro's last chance. Also they don't even remeber the voice actor's name so I feel like he didn't have many scenes in this season. I really wanted to see more of Adam

I was thinking, what if Keith use Black's powers to teleport the whole team? I mean, if Black can teleport, maybe Voltron can do it too, he does have wings, so he might have black's abilities... and even if he doesn't, maybe he can use his ability to enter the quintessence field and another dimensions to short they way to Earth, kinda like Lotor did in season 6, if they don't do it to much, it won't be a problem.
I'm super excited to season 7, but the same way, I'm scared and I don't want Voltron to come even close to it's end... they could do another series after this one, maybe in the future with adult Paladins or a new generation of Paladins (or both)

I just worry what a rekindled relationship will do in terms of story. We just got Shiro back and I'd hate to lose him again so soon. Tbh I would love a deeper story about how people care about each other, but grown apart. But I also trust the writers, so whatever they do I'll be happy.

Guys, I'm having a conflict: 1) I'm having a really important exam about 5 days after S7 airs, and 2)....Well, S7 will happen (...duh..?) So........Should I keep this season until a month later (yeah, the exam lasts for about a month so...shiet) or, should I just get over S7 in about a couple of days (also including package of fangirling, screaming like a banshee, and possible SOBBING??) Also, I'm ditching my phone until the exam is over; WELP, gotta get those A's, AMIRITE???? *nervous and frantic chuckles*
A side note: I estimated that S8 would be released around the time of my ANOTHER SUPER IMPORTANT EXAM buuuuut I'm contemplating to keep the binge-watch on hold if the time is DURING the exam *The face when you realise your future is sorta shackled by an animated show* *MorE NerVOus LaugHTER*
It happened to me with season six, but I did watch it when it came out. Besides the exam keep my mind away form all the punishmet a little bit.

I really hope Lance and Allura won't end up together. Like you discussed in your other video; they've really been setting up Lance to be bi. It'd be a shame if they don't explore that further, while we get a gay Shiro without any real signs beforehand.

Of course. But seeing there's only 2 seasons left, and them most likely not wanting to put it on the foreground *too* much; I wonder if they could do a good Bi story arc with Lance, AND then have him end up with Allura, without making it all feel rushed.

Though being a massive Klancer, I love Lance, I like Allura, and I was okay with Allurance - up until S5/S6.
Crystals mentioned the right thing, Allura learned about Lance's feelings, made a really sad face, and then kissed Lotor. This is nothing against Allura, she did nothing wrong, but if you want the audience to like a romance between two main characters, this is not the way to do it (and the mentioned tropes are tiresome and boring).
VLD's social media accounts posted romantic Lotura scenes even after S6 when Lotor was defeated. Bad promotion if they want to set up Allurance. ;;
And then of course there are all the things hinting at Bi Lance as you mentioned ...
I prepare myself for Allurance so it doesn't hit me too hard to see it on screen, but I won't like it.
〃 Lance ending up with Allura doesn’t make him Bi. It makes him STRAIGHT. “His sexuality” isnt confirmed as queer and so can’t be erased - headcanons aren’t the same as concrete LGBTQ+ rep. Lance has never expressed obvious attraction for guys and it’s very unlikely he would do so, and yet end up with Allura. This is coming from a bisexual who obviously understands that love for both genders is valid! I just don’t think people should call Lance canonly bi unless it’s actually referenced in the show via a past crush, a reference to his sexuality, something like that.

I knew Adam would provide a cop-out for actual LGBT+ representation because of that damn tweet. It's like that time when they thought a tweet made-up for their "revolutionary" scene where they basically yelled "oh btw bi-avatar" right at the last moment. I mean it's so telling when James and Keith had more development then Shiro and his ex-fiance ... even Axca's was given a throw-away line that would let the viewers feel that "oh maybe she likes him? I guess the creators showed some story-telling basics as they made a point to emphasize their interaction from earlier scenes." Y'know because it's not that hard to establish these things with a line or two!!! Instead we get a barely establishing interaction, a blink and you'll miss it death scene and a whole two seconds of zero impact mourning :/ I mean couldn't they put in a hokey "this one's for Adam" line or might the viewers actually then realise that these two maybe mean a little something to each other? I'm just not surprised, I knew they wouldn't get any development whatsoever or even a single line exploring some type of relationship status *sssssiiiiiiiigggggghhhhh*
10:49 I am SO happy this topic is brought to light and that people understand how low Lance's self-esteem has reached after how Kuron treated Lance and after the guilt of not being the first to realize Shiro's predicament hit him. And after Lauren's drawing of the representation, there's a possibility that Lance may be bi! And hence, not only will Shiro help Lance see how great and valuable he is as a paladin of Voltron and as a friend and help Lance with his romance problems, but Shiro may possibly also help Lance accept himself as someone unique and special, that he shouldn't be ashamed of who he is!
I'm a Klance shipper and it's probably just me having high hopes but even if Allurance may be endgame, just having Shiro confront Lance about his sexuality and helping him accept it is enough for me! And if he's not bi?
