I know season 7 comes out in only a few hours, but I've been trying to upload this video all day and I didn't want it to go to waste, so here is my analysis of the reviews and clips for season 7 right before the season comes out! We'll be finding out what actually does happen shortly. Season 7 based off of the reviews, clips, and trailers, seems like it will be amazing!... and end on a cliffhanger. Though there are some questionable things that the reviews hinted at about the season.

I was in a rush to finish this before season 7's release, meaning I couldn't include everything I wanted too. Just to add on to stuff I mentioned: I love how Cosmo is essentially Keith if Keith was a wolf. Cosmo's the perfect pet for him and I love the parallels between them. The popsicle picture with red bending over, orange on the ground and the others looking over them, could be Allura instead of Keith that's bending over the orange one. It's hard to tell if the color of that popsicle is red or pink. And there was a new popsicle picture of Keith and two purple popsicles behind him (one that was basically flying). I'm guessing the flying one is a ship, possibly Galra ship? And the other figure is either Krolia, another Galra, or Shiro. More popsicle teasers might have happened since I last checked, but I haven't kept up. Still can't believe I'm analysing popsicles of all the things.

I actually like that you posted this and the season 6 video just before they came out. It's a good way to help pass the time and seeing how right or wrong the fandom was while watching it. I think it's great that you put so much effort and time into these videos so it shouldn't matter that much that it just came out before the season. Good work girl 👍🏼

My favorite part of this entire video was when Fictional Crystal asked herself why she was analyzing popsicles. XD
I'm just hoping season 8 will pump out that supposed emotional scene with Shiro that Josh talked about, that the LGBT+ sign is for Shiro to help Lance with his bi arc + that sobbing scene that Jeremy mentioned he did, that Allurance will end in friendship, that Acxa/other generals will be redeemed/reunited/friends again, Hunk's family is okay + more Hunk, more Holt stuff, resolve klance/allurance parallels, klance works out that funk they had in s7/comfort each other/become canon, everyone gets therapy (especially Shiro) bc their mental health is so rocky, have a good final fight with haggar/dark creatures, and just do justice for Shadam? Like flashbacks of them while Shiro is helping Lance please??? I was crying so much afterwards because there were so many good things this season but it got backhanded with this forced hetero stuff/reducing Acxa to "i left my squad for a boy"/bury your gay stuff ): your videos usually give me hope so I'll be excited when you upload your thoughts! ❤

Ola Umeh I'm so scared but since so much happened in these 13 episodes + season 1 and 2's 13 with unexpected twists and measured pacing, I'm really holding onto the faith of them being able to resolve all of these points. ): It just hurts so much right now and I'm really scared, but I want to have faith. I want to have faith all that build up meant something.

Watching this after having watched season 7 is interesting, I loved the season overall but there are a few things I'm rather disappointed with, like how they handled Adam and the lack of real Lance development
Is it just me? But I feel the whole family arc, which I thought was going to be given to lance, was given to hunk WHICH IM TOTALLY FINE WITH I LOVE IT!!! I mean lance did get his reunion with his family and it touched me a lot.
I enjoyed the season. They clearly put a shit ton of work into the animation and the voice work was spot on. The story was good and everything that happened had a point. The last few eps were the best I've seen.
I’m so disappointed when lance is using his beyard and he keeps on using his gun not the sword like come on writers I hope they will have lance using his sword form in season 8

Is Lance going to have a season showing how he got character development yet? I mean it. The only episode he was solely in AND showed his serious side (kinda) was the Mermaids one. The rest were just him being shut up by others while trying to lighten a heavy mood or him wondering if he even has a place in the team anymore. Kuron certainly didnt help with that and (even tho i DONT like them ending up together, fight me) Allura was brushing him aside to go with Lotor who, mind u, betrayed her and didnt listen to Lance when he was looking out for her. I get it he wasnt that uh helping in the beginning but the series is ending.. shiro's changed heck we even get his and Kieths story before voltron, Kieth is now a good looking leader (yes), Pidge got her family back (and honestly filled like half of the show), Allura finally stopped complaining and is actually working and understanding her team who got dragged into this without even a goodbye by their remaining families (am talking Hunk and Lance) and Hunk will FINALLY get his awesome ass scenes that he deserves. But what about Lance? The show is ending... i wonder if the series will end with Lance like how it started. He was the focus in the first episode anyway so it was kind of a shame seeing Blue leave him. And wow its been too long since the Paladins communicated with their lions openly. Like u know, actual bonding and everything. Its not only the characters who have changed after all

It's me, from the future where I finished season 7. Adam !😞😭
TO be fair he did say "don't expect me to be here when you get back". I guess that was an obvious death flag.
I don't know how to feel this season. I wanted more for hunk, I wanted more for lance and more for everyone.
For allura to immediately be rushed into another romance after what happened. When showing no interest to lance and SUDDENLY having some.
Its unnatural in my opinion, and would prevent lance from maturing more. It's already known lance can get serious and I really want more of that. His insecurities, his progression Is what I want. You can see how his fighting and trust has improved this season compared to season 1.
Hunks past and family and emotions were barely brought upon. He displays himself as reliable and positive yet they simply savage his longing for home and his family.
Then the galaxy garrisons methods and members, while having good intentions were stubborn. despite never knowing galra tech or their society. Making them fools in certain scenes. while learning quick, that trait made it sorta annoying.
Lastly, the show has been accused for quiet baiting. I cant say anything until the show is finished but to the direction its heading,,, It most likely is... showing how adam died instantaneously, and how the interest keith has shown to girls is little to none. However, suddenly he does In acxa,,, barely communicating only interacting very little. Then the parallels between lines towards Keith and allura. Romanticizing the 'we make a great team'. Making lance seem bi.
The show is not finished yet, so far not the best if you REALLY look at it. While I was entertained and could appreciate moments in the season. It makes me fearful to what direction they are heading. Especially with viewers who can send threats to writers.
I dont believe in threats, for burning stuff, you can stop purchasing or ignoring it. However threatening is lower than low. Cant blame the voice actors, writers, animators or directors. It felt messily written and maybe it's because we demanded so much. I dont knkw anything and I cant say all of my opinions so far.
I wanted villians to be given a chance.
I am ashamed to say, yeah. I originally came for klance. The shows purpose was for voltron and the team to restore peace to the universe. I was focusing on relationships, there are things that I feel like some have messed up but we have as well.
Disappointed wishing for it to be like a puzzle piece. I guess I was wrong.
I still ship them anyways Allura and Lance = Allurance. Also Lance drew a sort of stick figure With a heart of a piece of paper In the hospital When it showed Allura. And yes I kinda agree they did rush it And she didn't really show any signs to liking him until now. RIP it still was Adorable

Lily White (hmm, they're not exactly moments, more like klance interactions, but hey, I'm starved for klance content, I'll take what I get) Well theres one moment in the game show episode when Lance and Keith voted each other to be free. That's the only thing I can remember from the top of my head.
Also, when Keith was going back to save Acxa, Lance looked kind of hurt/worried (Possibly jealous)

i've already watched it twice and i was equally shook both times
So finished watching season 7 earlier today and overall I give it 6.5/10. The story progeseed well (it felt natural) but there was no real character development except for Keith, of course. Like always everything seemed to be about Keith. Now I like Keith (he's one of my favorites) and it was amazing seeing him become the leader he was meant to be but as a Lance STAN I feel like they did my Blue Boy dirty with no real development; which has been a complaint of mine about the series as a whole. At times it feels like the show should be called the "Legend of Keith and His Sidekicks." Season 6 was way better IMO and to be completely honest it felt like I struggled to get through it praying for any moment for Lance to shine, that never came.
Whatever I'm admittedly biased. #BlueBoyLance

2. The super weapon doesn’t come back this season
3. The reason why the generals look different is because of a three year time skip
4. There is more lance and Keith
5. They don’t talk about Kuron or Keith and allura
6. Keith and axca do have a weird relationship thing
7. They don’t do much with the blades
8. Honerva and allura don’t interact this season
9. They don’t realize Hagar is honerva
10. The creatures from the rift don’t come back
11. The universe they inhabit does change, but the rift creatures have nothing to do with it
12. The goddess of the universe doesn’t appear
13. The paladins get rescued by summoning their lions
14. There are new powers for the paladins and lions
15. They still have cultimector
16. The different uniforms for the galra are because they work for lotors generals
17. Earth has changed and the galra had left the earth in basically ruins
18. The rebels don’t come until the very end and earth does become a beacon of hope
19. The paladins had disappeared for 3 years, that’s why everyone in earth is supposed to be older
20. Pidge doesn’t get captured
21. Lance does fight the bad guys by himself
22. Adam dies so he can’t talk to Keith
23. Griffin and Keith don’t really talk about there past
24. It’s the leader of the galaxy garrison who’s laying down because she’s dead and the paladins witness it

26. The earth in ruins doesn’t ruin Keith it ruins hunk
27. They do visit Keith’s dads grave

Shaunie S same. They literally killed the only lgbtq rep we had, and by the way Allura is looking at lance, we’re not gonna have anymore. None of the paladins interacted with each other; it was all action. Plus, Keith and Acxa??? Wtf? Like, that totally came out of nowhere and if they become a couple, I’m gonna be seriously disappointed. Also, lance?? Everyone was calling him an idiot, and he got zero character development? There are thirteen episodes left in Voltron, and I have no clue how they’re going to fit Lance’s arc in that time, WHILE tying up all loose ends. Needless to say, season seven was not what I expected and I was incredibly disappointed. At least the action scenes were good.

@@PrincessLioness Trust me, I'm not forgetting Shiro and I love Shiro, but there's very little indication that he's gay, like my straight friend didn't even know who Adam was after watching the season, let alone knew that Shiro was gay, as it just went over the head of people who weren't actively trying to find it.
I know people will say 'He doesn't have to act gay to be gay', and yeS I knoW, but it would be at least nice for him to talk about his sexuality, maybe just a little comment on the side about a cute guy: things that Lance does about girls and Hunk did about Shay.
LGBT rep isn't LGBT rep if there's no indication of said LGBT rep in the show.
I love the crew, and I know they're trying their hardest, so my gay ass is hopeful that we will get *something*.

Season 7 was a disappointment for me. SPOILER ALERT BTW. No, I'm being very serious. This comment probably spoils everything. Do not click "read more" if you haven't watched the season.
- Queer-baiting happened.
- Adam had less screen time than Kaltenecker (THE COW).
- Poor Adam died before Shiro even got back to Earth to reunite.
- I hate not knowing whether Lotor died or not.
- Apparently Haggar disappeared too.
- Apparently 3 years have passed since Voltron's "righteous" fight with my purple space bby.
- I like to think that Haggar may have disappeared in the past 3 years to find Lotor and try to save him. She just discovered her son, I doubt she's gonna leave him to die, but then this season disappointed me so much with the writers' choices so Idk what to think.
- I hate seeing Lance so sad all the time.
- At least bby Hunk got lots of character development.
- ALLURANCE IS BASICALLY CANON NOW, LIKE WHAT? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Lance, he is such an awesome character, which is why he doesn't deserve to be Allura's rebound after her falling out with Lotor. It's so rushed and forced. It almost seems like she has romantic interest in him out of pity? It's just so sudden? Allurance is cute, but this wasn't the way to do it. It won't be endgame. It's bad for Lance, Allura, and Lotor.
- Lotor had all season to build up his love for Allura, but basically right after she left him to die, she got over him with no sadness and no anger. Like Lotor and her were never a thing. This isn't a healthy way to deal with the "betrayal" of someone who you loved, and who loved you back. Lance doesn't deserve to achieve his relationship with Allura this way.
- I don't mean to be rude or offend Romelle stans, but Romelle is so annoying. She literally has no use to the team, and just stands around and messes with things. I miss Lotor.
- *sigh*.
- I really hope the VLD writers find a way to tie up all of the loose ends created by season 7, get some actual LGBT+ representation for the audience, and hopefully bring back Lotor.

Lenye Uwaeme Well thanks for letting me voice my opinion. Yes, I love Voltron, the plot was great (although season 7 could’ve used some work), and romance isn’t really a big thing for me in Voltron. I don’t have many ships, and I just have them for fun. All I’m saying is that Lance doesn’t deserve to be Allura’s rebound. He’s a beautiful and amazing character, he deserves someone who puts him first. Fans like you that tell others to “fuck off” and “get over themselves” are really what make the fandom so damn toxic. I’m just trying to voice my opinions, so how about you get over your entitled self?
Alyssa Wang the way you put it is like you about the f****** romance in the story there are more things that need to be talked about more things that are important than the romance in the story they're in the middle of a f****** War they don't have time to start focusing on Romance I understand it's your opinion but the way you worded it came off as you only care about the ships

I'm curious about the relationship between paladins, the garlas, and the other character. Like, why is James Griffin was begin a jerk to Keith? When did that started? Not to mention, why the adults beside Shiro look down at Keith like he's an outcast or something?
