- Well well well, supposed to be posting in 4 minutes (at the moment I'm sitting down to type). We just woke up about 45 minutes ago and did our Devo's etc but I did not want to miss the chance to leave you with some personal encouragement and updates. -This video almost didn't get posted this morning or today in general...But Tori and I choose to stay up till like 3am to make sure we stay on track with posting and getting content out no matter if it is perfect or not and that is something I wanted to encourage you in this morning...A lot of the questions we got could be boiled down to people wanting things to be perfect. Whether it's your first time, or you are married and feel like things are off etc... there is this massive pressure to perform and for things to go "right". I don't think that is necessarily a bad thought, however, if we do think that way we are definitely missing out. You see, inside of marriage you have the ability to be yourself. You don't need to perform. You aren't trying to earn anyone anymore.Hopefully that person loves you unconditionally and that unconditionally means that you are free to be yourself imperfections and all (don't forget that means you love them unconditionally too). When I realized that with Tori I became so "free". I knew I was already free but something unlocked in my brain and I knew she wouldn't leave me and judge me for my imperfections and the way I fall short and weight was lifted off my shoulders. I no longer needed to put on a facade in order to feel accepted and worthy of love, I was just loved as is. The same goes for our relationship with God. He is not asking for perfection, He is asking that we trust and follow him and lean on him at all times, not just when the crap hits the fan.

I once heard this saying, "Don't accept criticism from a person that you wouldn't go to for advice," and oh my goodness... The analogy that you used, Chad, about "fighting a blind person", just wow! “It’s okay. You’re married. Don’t feel like you’re always performing. There’s no performance. The facade is down, the curtains open, you can be yourself”- that is true freedom!!! Gods plan of intimacy only in the walls of marriage will always be the best one.

Yeah. Don’t have to perform. Just focus on enjoying the moment. Any sexual acts in the marriage bed with the mutual consent of husband and wife is honouring God. God does not even bother with our performance. He’s more interested in whether we are giving enough pleasure to our spouse. Because the ultimate goal of sexual intimacy as defined by God is for couples to enjoy it while procreating.
just one thing i would add, is that victims of sexual abuse/rape/etc are not unworthy or unclean. it can be kind of forgotten how that didn't get to be a choice for some people and how incredibly hard that is. the victim is not at fault, and placing the blame on the victim is never God's will. he feels the pain of the victim and weeps with them. God will never punish the victim for something they couldn't control.
really good video, just thought it wanted to say that considering that victims of such abuse are unfortunately pretty common. it goes to show that something so amazing, satan can twist to abuse, hurt, and use to disrespect other children of God.
These are such great videos to have a Christian talk honestly and open about. I definitely see God using Chad and Tori to break down lies that Satan has told people about sex, relationships, and boundaries. Thank you for talking about the hard stuff, God is using you!!!

when you said, "would you fight a blind person?" that really made me think about all the times where I've felt so angry and upset at people for being mean to me (or others), doing the wrong thing or making ungodly' decisions in their life. How judgmental I've been to other people when I'm making a god out of MY standards rather than the Lord's standard for MY life and my character. Thank you Chad!

My personal favourite was Chad talking about how condescending comments others would make like "I can't believe you don't live with your girlfriend" but Chad knew that the earthly financial cost of staying faithful to God's plan for a relationship/marriage was an investment worth making, because you're not just with them to save some money or for your own benefit!
So, so necessary 🙌🏾 if we as Christians don’t talk about these things, then we’ll get it from culture.

I like that analogy that Chad used where he described the peanut gallery as blind people. It's very true!
We also have to remember that its not the people that we are fighting against when it comes to sexual purity but against Satan. So if those people are criticizing you for waiting until marriage, it helps to think of it as Satan criticizing you, which should make you want to stay pure all the more!

We observe sexual purity not because it is shameful or dirty to have sex before marriage. But rather we should see it as a precious gift from God to share with that one special person. And we exercise self control before marriage believing that God’s blessings will come upon us after marriage.

I came out of an unequally Yorked relationship 2months ago although we did not engage in premarital sex i still feel like that there is a lot of baggage to unpack. He is 9years older than me and now I feel like I wasted his time too being in the wrong relationship. He is not a Christian doesn't believe in God at all yet I wish he finds a partner that is equally yorked with him. For now I just wanna live for God and and glorify him in everything I do. Thank y’all so much for these videos. I’m 25 now, but in my late teens I fell into that trap of “everyone is having sex so it’s okay if I do too”. I wanted to be loved so badly that I gave myself away to men that I shouldn’t have. I was so broken after a few years of this that I cried out to God and asked him to take away any desire for a relationship & sex. He worked a miracle in my life and set me free from the sin of sexual immorality, but he also he healed my heart in a way that I didn’t think was possible. All of this to say that, I now try my very best to share my story with younger men & women in the hopes they won’t go through what I went through. These videos are amazing, and are such a good resource to send to some of my younger friends. Thank you again 💕

God is soo good for blessing me with you two through the internet!! also, just want to thank you again for giving us example of a beautiful Godly marriage! it gives me hope that one day God will give me a relationship where I can love & be loved unconditionally as well! in the meantime, I'm just gonna enjoy my Father's unconditional love and fall in love with Him and His people (like you guys!!)
